Cyndral knows that these Oozes are slow and not very intelligent. Although an ooze lacks the intelligence to ally itself with other creatures, others that understand an ooze’s need to feed might lure it into a location where it can be of use to them. Clever monsters keep oozes around to defend passageways or consume refuse.

Ooze 2 Dex Save: 8 

Cyndral’s Acid shoots across the cavern and hits the odd blob of strange gelatinous substance and begins to eat away at the outside membrane. Strangely, the acid doesn’t eat away at the creature as much as Cyndral had hoped.

El, seeing Cyndral attack and hearing his warning, spots the oozes and racks their brain for a plan. Standing in front of Verim they draw their crossbow and fire at the nearest approaching creature. After firing El unslings their shield from their pack and crouches, holding it between Verim and themself and anything that might attack them, never taking their eyes off the targets in the gloom.

OoC: are the crossbows we have poisoned the same as they were when the guards used them? Or was that only certain ammo and if so did we pick up any?

El fires off the crossbow bolt and hears a Thlomp and a small squeal like gas escaping from a small hole as the bolt sinks into the Ooze and remains there, hurting the peculiar creature.

Gnarls looks around to survey the surroundings, not much of which he can see. Gnarls will switch his rapier for a crossbow and if possible shoot at Ooze 1:

He will then move to Y4 and yell: "Hurry down! This will be our only chance!"

The same wet noise can be heard as Gnarls’ bolt sinks into the Ooze, a small trail of gloop is now being created as it moves.

     "Let's show some hustle," Tobias shouts to those behind him. "We're about to have some company, and that head priestess doesn't look happy!" The cleric takes a steps back and raises his shield, preparing to receive an attack from the approaching guard.

Move to U8, Dodge action

Hear Tobias shout out Shishakli draws shield and hand crossbow, again saying to himself "shit shit shit" and moves to X12 where he'll take aim and shoot at the drow he can see on the bridge.

Tobias readies himself, Shield at the ready with gritted teeth, protecting those that are closest to him. 

Shishakli ducks out of cover and takes a shot at the Drow running over the bridge. He gets his timing wrong slightly and shoots ahead of the target.

Verim still weak from the poison in his veins staggers backwards five feet, allowing El to pass, he then rests his hands on El’s right shoulder to steady his aim as a crackle of Eldritch Energy is released.

He looks directly at the grey oozes hoping to see any affect, attack grey ooze 1

Verim sees 4 Oozes in front of him and send the purple Eldritch Energy at one of them, hitting thin air as it passes straight through where he thought it was. 

Topsy and Turvy both use Dodge while cowering behind Tobias. Shuushar continues dowanwards using Dash to move 30ft. Eldeth and Shuushar now only have 20ft to go. 

Stool remains on JimJars back.

The Drow Elite Guards Follow Ilvara and rush past her. On makes his way on to the bridge in a rush, seconds behind the guard in front. The other runs over to the right and begins to draw his crossbow. 

As Drow 8 and Elite 2 are making their way across the bridge, Tobias’ split in the ropes begin to open. All of a sudden the bridge gives way underneath them. They both take 59 bludgeoning Damage. Halved by the water. 

With a loud splash! As the two plummet and hit the water, they both float again to the surface. The Drow Guard continues to float face down in the water, the current taking him slowly down stream, the Elite Drow however is made of tougher stuff. The wind has been knocked out of him and he stands looking confused as to what just happened.

JimJars bolt hits the closest Ooze which seems to shake violently before bursting, small bits of slime spurt out in all directions as Sarith takes aim at the Ooze behind it. He fires and the bolt sinks into it. 

After seeing the bridge fall in front of her, Ilvara walks over to the Elite guard and casts resistance on him. Standing there watching her prisoners trying to escape “Take them down but make sure they’re still alive. I want to torture these horrible creatures and make their lives a living hell”

The Drow brings down his sword on the Derro’s arm, creating a long bloody gash. The blood drips on the floor and Buppido begins to laugh.

Cyndral, noting the inneffective nature of his spell, moves to Sarith's side for a clear line to the oozes at hand, pulling one of his daggers into a throwing grip as he does so. As he lets it fly, he shouts to anyone who can hear, "We need to go, now! Everyone up top, hurry! Everyone down here, take the tunnel behind us, away from the enemy! Go, go with all the haste you can muster!"

Cyndral gets his dagger ready to fling while running, gets to a good position and with just the right wrist action throws the dagger which has a nice spin on it as it travels through the air and lands right in the center of the odd creature.
