Gilly helps tie up the baddies, perhaps being a little too apologetic. He's also hoping to find his instruments, so he's happy to help search the vessel. He also has a spell slot left, so if one of his comrades needs their wounds cured, he'll do that.
Umm. who's got the helm? "Hmmm", thinks Tiro, "We'll have to think about that. It seems that some of you know how to sail a ship, which may be of assistance to the lizardfolk. Or we could just hand you in to the authorities at the next port." Tiro then proceeds to closely search the bodies, inspecting their weapons and armour, in fact removing them for adding them to the collection of supplies for the lizardfolk. To Thrash he says, "Do you think we may be able to equip ourselves from the supplies on this ship so we can more ably defend ourselves?" Tiro will then proceed to search the rest of the ship.

Thrash would look to Tiro and nod. "Must find equipment... Find stolen " he would say pointing to Trio and each of his new companions... "and find owed..." He would say pointing his thumb back at himself. He would then approach the tied up man and snarl as his clawed feet bite into the deck. "Tell where goods!" He would snarl as his tail slaps hard against the deck, causing the metal plates of his armor to vibrate and the blades of his flail to rattle.
(OOC: In the interests of moving the campaign along, I’m not proposing to do a room by room description of the ship as it is pretty standard and much like the party’s original ship albeit a bit bigger. If people want a detailed description of rooms such as the Captain’s cabin, etc. let me know).
As the party searches the ship and finds all of their missing equipment including Hallard’s staff. In the various cabins they find 2 x Locked Chest (Wizard’s & Captain’s cabins), 1 x locked desk (Captain’s cabin), 1 x locked Iron chest, several books, several sea chests, cargo (bolts of silk, casks of brandy & wine, mining tools) plus a cache of weapons ( Morning stars x 10, Longswords x 10, Shields x 10 & Javelins x 20).
(OOC: I assume that our search of the bodies has found the captain's and the wizard's keys - and where was the iron chest - that may help to find the keys to that also?) He then inquires generally of the team of former prisoners: "Is any amongst us good at identifying and disabling any booby traps that may have been set upon those chests?"

Gilly is happy to find his armor and crossbow, but when he finds his rör oscillera (flute) and ståkuk stämma (horn), he is ecstatic. He immediately moves to the prow of the ship and begins playing a fanfare on his ram's horn.
Thrash would approach his lizardfolk tribesmen and give a toothy grin. "success isthasyi! wer daariv jalla qe petranasgarh. yth geou qe returning mrith throden throdenilt laraeki vur tools ekess klae seanf hesi irlymi. si tepoha vsist managed ekess recruit creol latali ekess letoclo udoka persvek hesi slathalin!" He would say in draconic. He would then move to the captain and pull off a finger from the corpse before tossing it into his mouth. "Sail boat to queen!" He would shout in common.
Success brothers! The queen should be pleased. We will be returning with many more weapons and tools to use against our enemies. I have also managed to recruit some allies to help us in our fight!"
Hallard will search the captains cabin for his staff before making his way back to the group. If he can carry anything of interest back to the group he will othersise he will tell them what he finds.
This cabin is clean, and its furniture in good repair.
A single bunk, made up with bed linen, has its head against the bulkhead running along the centerline of the ship next to a wooden partition squaring off the corner near the main deck.
A writing desk is set against the hull toward the stern; it has a drawer on each side and three trays on the top. Also on the desktop, just in front of the trays, is an inkpot, two quill pens, a small knife, and a pewter container that resembles a pepper pot. Against the desk is set an upright wooden chair, and beside it is a wooden, brass-bound chest.
Against the hull on the starboard side is a padded leather couch. In front of it, a bearskin rug lies on the deck, while beneath the couch can be seen a large metal box. An unlit hooded lantern hangs from the ceiling.
Zin straps his armor and rapier back on a slings his recovered shield over his shoulder. Grabbing the bag as well he feels decidedly better. Finding his bow intact tops it off as he checks it for damage and the condition of the string.
Satisfied he counts the number of prisoners they have collected.
"With the captain dead I declare that we ought to own this ship for ourselves, free the slaves and put her back to honest work."
(OOC: Are we aware of the secret doors listed on the map?)
Yes I assume you spent sufficient time - say about 90 minutes thoroughly searching the ship - to find everything. For example the weapons were in Room 15.
The ship has been searched and most of the baddies have been tied up - with I'm guessing the exception of the helmsman - who is still trying to keep the ship on course but its is driving forward before the storm as nobody has as yet told the helmsman where to go. Eventually in frustration he yells out "do you lot have any idea where you're going, I've been wrestling this wheel for most of the dog watch now!" This prompts Gilly to approach Vhon and say "what's next, Captain?" Vhon looks around "huh what, my green lady has not told me anything, in fact she is not even talking to me now!"
(OOC: the helmsman is Lollylegs character - a bit contrived I know)
(OOC: Would Thrash know how to direct the helmsman towards where the lizardfolk clan is located? I assume that is where this boat was going anyway with all the weapons right?)

As Gilly is tying up the sailors one asks “what are you going to do with us?”

Who, if anybody is in control?
