Tiro says to Thrash "We need to have our strongest fighter ready to fight. So rest up now I'm sure there will be more." Then to Zin and Griff, "How're your injuries, anything needed or just a rest to recover your energy and health." After seeing to their needs, and those of any other injured, Tiro returns to the Bosun's cabin to rest and give thanks and praise to Persana for delivering them from the sahuagin.
Thrash would struggle to stay on his feet.. still covered in a lot of blood. "Thrash good.. " The would hiss before moving across the deck and leaning against the mast. He would then slide down and sit with his shield and his flail on his lap. "small rest.."
Gilly notices Thrash stumble over to and lean against the mast of the ship. He pulls out his rör oscillera and plays a sweet melody to accompany the lizardfolk's rest.
Song or rest: Thrash can roll an extra d6 along with his hit dice.
Griff comes over looking at his tattered shirt. Muttering something about the damn lizards ruining his best shirt. He then says "That was a close one, I wouldn't have survived another hit. Nothing a good nights rest won't fix though."
He then drags himself off to find his bottle of rum and his cabin.
You can all take a long rest. You'll say into the small bay where the Lizardman camp is located not long after dawn tomorrow. I'll try and put up a more detailed post in the next 24 hours.
You all get 110 XP each from fighting the Sahuagin.
The wind continues to blow strongly but over the next two days the party manages to battle their way north. What have you been doing with the First Mate all this time? After about 2 days they eventually say into a small bay with marshes at the end and a small stream flowing into it.
Thrash has been making sure all the weapons are collected and ready to present to the queen, along with his new friends. Once they arrive in the bay, Thrash would smile and his in excitement. "Ahh yes. Queen happy with news and weapons" he would say looking towards his companions.
On the good side you find 10 electrum ingots - stamped with a lizardman rampant - in the chest.
What have you been doing with the First Mate all this time?
Referring back to post #937 and #942, Tiro takes the electrum ingots (to be shared), figuring that as the party is delivering the weapons, the payment is rightfully ours. As to the first mate, Tiro had suggested that he (we) check his chest first to see if there is anything of value or anything that may indicate his nature so as to ascertain whether he can be trusted.
Following this, Tiro will sit down where he can observe the first mate - but out of reach of the bound man - and begin a conversation. "You look like a wise man, how came you to be involved on this ship, in a smugglers' and slavers' racket?" He carefully observes the first mate's reactions (using his insight skill: 25) as the conversation progresses.

The First Mate looks over at Tiro and says “I’ve sailed the length and breadth of the Sea of Swords but I’ve never seen a creature like you” Are you some sort of elf?”

Thrash looks at the ingots and “that’s Queen’s mark” pointing to the rampant Lizardman on the ingots “where you find?”
Replying to the First Mate, Tiro says: " I am a triton, and ancient race from the deep ocean, some call us sea-elves, but we are not. I have come to the surface to make the seas a safer place for sailors and coast dwellers. This is why the sahuagin had to die - they are nothing but evil."
Replying to Thrash: "They were in the captain's cabin, in his chest. I believe they are payment for the delivery of the armaments for the war against the sahuagin. Should they be returned to the queen, or are we entitled to share them as payment for delivery of the armaments."

"yes.. Thrash make mark" he would say Tapping the symbol with his clawed finger. "you keep bars, you help queen" The lizardfolk would say as he looked eyes with Tiro.
As Thrash makes this statement the older Lizardman hisses at him and says "U veronderstel Hatchling. Nie u besluit om te neem nie. Slegs koningin of minister Sauriv kan sê wie metaal kry!"

You presume Hatchling. Not you decision to make. Only Queen or Minister Sauriv can say who gets metal!
"I have come to the surface to make the seas a safer place for sailors and coast dwellers. This is why the sahuagin had to die - they are nothing but evil" Tiro pronounces.
The First Mate tries to raise his hands but the manacles prevent it "well they don't need protectin' from me. A little bit of smugglin but that's 'bout all. Cap'n Sigurd and his sidekick the Deck wizard Punketah they were evil. It was their idea to make you lot into slaves not mine!"
As far as Tiro can tell the First Mate is telling the truth.

Tiro replies, "And you went along with it because....?" after waiting for a reply , Tiro continues "So if we were to release you, what would you do? Where would you go?"

Tiro observes the older lizardman closely (insight: 18) to see if he can get the gist of what he is saying, though the tone seemed harsh, Lizardman talk always seems harsh to Tiro. He then addresses Thrash: "We do not mean to cause unrest between you and your countrymen, or indeed your queen. It is probably better to let your queen decide what happens to the bars."
The First Mate looks at Tiro as if he's not all there "cos it would be three 'gainst one if I didn't and did you see that Bosun - wouldn't have wanted to run into 'im in a dark alley! As to where'd I go - anywhere but at the moment" looking around the bay edged as it is with marsh and swamp "it wouldn't be far without a boat of some sort!"

He is not happy about something - what exactly you don't know!
Gilly starts looking a little closer to the boat as he keeps watch to make sure no more fish people are able to surprise them.

1 hit die 5 + 1
+ another hit die 7
Gilly's song of rest affects everyone taking a rest, so Zin can also roll an extra d6.
