(Salty Joe is restrained, and your spell requires both a material and somatic component. Rules aren't clear on this, but it seems to me that you'd have to make some sort of Dex saving throw in order to cast this spell. The condition does specify that you have disadvantage on Dex saving throws. So lets make it a DC12 Dex throw (10+spell level). Penumbra, you make the Saving Throw, so take 5 piercing and 6 poison damage.)

With a look of frustration that the spider was able to get around him to attack Penumbra, Bankur attempts to crush the disgusting creature with his mace.
Attack: 24 Damage: 5
After launching the attack Bankur quickly turns to Penumba and utters a short prayer to Ilmater, causing a wave of white healing light to snake towards her.

Round 3: Bankur's attack connects with the blue spider, and then he invokes his deity's healing power to restore some health to Penumbra. Salty Joe casts another spell from within the webbing, casing another sonic boom that just catches the spiders but manages to miss the rest of the party (you're welcome =)DC13 Con save: 14. Because of the placement of the spell, a seven-foot section of the front wall of the building collapses in a cloud of dust!

Rand switches from crossbow to his sword, Talon. He steps toward the closest spider, bringing Talon across. "Thank you for coming down where I can get a proper swing at you!"
Rand slices through the green spider in front of Salty joe, splattering himself with dark ichor and killing the giant arachnid. The other one, grievously injured, decides this meal isn't worth it and scuttles away to the east of the building and into the thickets behind it! (Combat over. 125 XP each!)
Entering the partially collapsed building, you find the corpse of an unfortunate adventurer cocooned in spider silk in the western half of the building. The body is shriveled up and sucked dry, but appears to have been a male elf. The body wears studded leather armor, a dusty-green cloak, and a shortsword in the scabbard at its hip. A careful search also yields a potion of healing in a belt pouch, along with 23 gp and 35 sp.

"Anyone mind of take this sword? Maybe a bigger blade will get me out of the next web a little faster." Penumbra says, as she removes the scabbard from the elf's belt. While taking the sword she quickly searches the body.
Looking sadly at the elven body, Bankur takes out a small vial of holy water from his belt pouch and sprinkles a small amount on the corpse while murmuring a short prayer. "Poor soul. I'm guessing his death was slow and painful. May he find some solace in his afterlife."
"Yes, let us put his belongings to good use, now that he needs them no more!"
Salty Joe conducts his ritual to detect magic while the rest of the group looks over the poor, dead elf's remains. Penumbra recognizes the cloak even before Salty declares that it has a strong abjuration aura. (Congrats on finding the first of your Christmas gifts. This was Penumbra's roll! So the spoiler is for her...)
This one of the famed Romulan Cloaks - designed for the spies and assassins of King Romulas over a thousand years ago. Not only does it help you blend in with your environment (adding +3 to your Stealth Rolls!), but it also protects its wearer from harm (Cloak of Protection.)
It is getting later in the afternoon - the group can press on for one more building or go ahead and call it a night...
