Last round I forgot that this guy has the following feature:
Aura of Murder. As long as the death’s head is not incapacitated, hostile creatures within 5 feet of it gain vulnerability to piercing damage unless they have resistance or immunity to such damage.
So Darvin was knocked unconscious because he took double the 17 damage taken
As the man collapses, Gil would rush to his companions. "Are you guys OK? That guy was really tough" he would say as he moves to check the skull faced man for anything of value.
Gil would collect the dagger and pouch of coins before looking to the others. "I think it is time to leave now.." He would say with a look towards the badly inured Darvin
As you emerge from the bathhouse, five figures leap down from the top of the courtyard wall to confront you. In addition to their black leather armor, they wear strange masks and cloaks that give each of them a vaguely dragon-like appearance. All five brandish curved steel blades reminiscent of dragon claws.
You can tell that they are not followers of the Dead Three. These men follow another god.
"Greetings." The leader says
"I am Ultiss. We have been sent to retrieve the treasure stolen from the dragon queen’s hoard. Tiamet herself has told us the treasure is near. Tell us what you know."
Darvin, who was looking like he was about to collapse on the ground any second, draws on a well of inner strength when the dragon-worshiper addresses the group.
"Ultiss, you say?" he says, a half-smile forming on the corner of his mouth. "Ultiss the Cultist? Sorry, do you lot self-identify as cultists, or do you consider that derogatory? I've never been sure about that one. It's funny, a close personal friend of mine was a follower of your Tiamat last I saw her. I wonder what she's up to now?"
"In any case, let me introduce myself." Darvin extends a hand. "My name is Zard. I tell tales, occasionally sing, among other things. I'll give you a minute."
"Now, I have got to say, it's rather rude of you to greet us like this, battered as we are. Surely we can come to some sort of understanding by sitting down to a hot meal together. I know this great place just down the road. What do you say?"
OoC: Not presuming it's possible to convince them, but just in case; Persuasion: 18
After the fight, Drabash turns to Gilbert and glances over to the burned woman before continuing, "Little one, I warned you to be careful of strangers in dungeons like this." He pauses and then chuckles,"But I was also one of said strangers, so I can't say too much." He then collapses to one knee, as his adrenaline fades, "Do you or any of your companions have any healing?" He says with a grimace
As Drabash leans in and asks him about healing, Gil would dig through his pockets and produce a single potion of healing. "Here you go. It is the only one I have." The small verdan would reply with a smile. Then as they make their way outside, hey would gasp and hold on tightly to his bag and staff. "Yeah... why don't we all find a nice place to rest and have a nice mean..." He would reply as he nods in agreement with Darvin. "I mean.. if you want to go down there and look for a treasure, you are more than welcome to do so. It is pretty stinky down there."
Ultiss sneers a bit at the mention of being a cultist.
"You don't strike me as following the Dead Three so tell me what has happened here. Have you done our work for us? Agents of Zariel have stolen the dragon queen’s hoard on Avernus, treasure given to Duke Vanthampur and her sons to buy the loyalty of the Dead Three followers. We are here to reclaim that treasure and have tracked it to this location. Stand aside and do not meddle in our business. Unless you are just treasure hunters, adventurers, and have taken the treasure for yourselves!"
"Could you describe the treasure? Perhaps if you describe it a bit we could tell you whether or not we saw anything that might have resembled your treasure. We were just leaving so you are all fine to proceed down into the smelly sewer and look for yourselves..." Gil would say with a smile as he moves away from the entrance to the dungeon.. allowing the men to pass.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Drabash take the potion with a muttered thanks, pulls the cork out with his teeth and spits it out before swallowing the contents in a few gulps. After a few moments he stands up, as he regains some of his strength.
Potion: 9
Feeling a little refreshed, Drabash can finally take note of the other people but sneers when he hears mention of the dragon queen Queen and decides he wants nothing to do with them. So he moves off to the side and allows the others to deal with them but has one axe within easy reach just in case.

Drubash takes double any damage taken above.
Gilbert slams a fireball in the man's face killing him.
You all breath a sigh of relief as the man is now dead.
Combat over
OoC: Darvin started with 31/31 plus 5 temp, so he's not quite unconscious yet after 34 damage, but he is at 2 HP.

Works for me.
The man has no armor and just the dagger for weapons.
On his belt is a small pouch with 13 gp and 2 sp.
The woman has nothing of value.
(OOC: Would my detect magic wand still be up from the previous room? Is the dagger magical?)
The dagger is not magical.
Gil would collect the dagger and pouch of coins before looking to the others. "I think it is time to leave now.." He would say with a look towards the badly inured Darvin

(OOC: Gil is OK at persuasion. I can try that but I think Darvin is probably better.)
