Bazavur nods and begins moving toward the northern passage. He will wait for everyone else to decide before crossing the threshold though. If the rest of the group decides another path is better he will go that way instead.
(I’m still not getting notifications. Anyone else having this issue)
Bazavur trudges along down the path. Leading the way as everyone else follows. He’s quietly hoping he’s picked the correct path. But that remains to be seen.
You follow the path, as before. And this time you arrive... in a new sundial clearing, although possibly the last sundial clearing, though if so Tobin's mark is gone, and the sundial's shadows have moved. There are now four shadows, pointing north-east, north-west, south-east and south-west.
"I have been trying to puzzle it out, but so far the pattern eludes me. Either we keep coming to the same intersection and my marks are erased, or we come to a new intersection each time," says Tobin.
"However, with every new intersection, there is new information--like a book that shows a new page and a new hint. Let me consider," he adds.
Considering his notes again with this new information, he looks for patterns again (Intelligence check 2+5=7...not good).

Marking their entry on the ground, Tobin says, “At least the accumulating shadows seem like a good sign. I can only hope that getting shadows in all directions will get us to the center of the maze.”
”Why don’t we go north again for lack of a better option,” Tobin suggests.

Bazavur shrugs his shoulders, “Sounds good to me. Unless anyone else has a better idea?” If no one has an alternative suggestion, he will then head towards the northern path.
You follow the northern path; as always it curves slightly, stopping you from seeing too far ahead or too far behind, until you emerge at...
an identical clearing; four shadows point north-east, south-east, north-west, south-west. Tobin, there is no sign on the ground of any mark you made - either it's been wiped clean, or this is a different clearing. Somehow, though it hardly makes sense, you emerge from the south again.

Varan shrugs and follows Bazavur, "At this point I think one path is as good as another."

Okay, what are you doing?
Tobin:
Marking the northern path as heir exit, Tobin follows along, adding this intersection’s shadow pattern and path chosen to his notes.

(Yeah, no notifications for me either).

Bazavur looks to Tobin, “You’re smart. Any pattern to these shadows in relation to the path taken to cause them to change?”

Tobin, you just don't know. It's very confusing, which is perhaps unsurprising for a maze.
Anyone else who wants to make a similar INT check, please feel free to do so.
(I rolled a one with a minus one modifier for a total of zero. 😂)

Aiwin stares still curious how everyone else seems to have figured out the maze.

Wow, what a resounding success. You stand and stare at each other for a good two minutes - no-one has any ideas.
Bazavur scratches his head, “which way should we try first?”

“Huh… let’s try north east now?” Bazavur starts walking that direction.
