Sorry, but it doesn't really apply. I think that's more for spells like entangle. This is about being crushed inside a living plant - not specifically magical or manipulated.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Soar, getting closer and closer to Kelemvor’s domain, reluctantly guided by... some woman in green... wakes up. It was not her time yet. The woman, she seemed familiar, and she slowed Soar’s movement toward her end. She pointed back, reminding her she had friends. Not many, but she did have friends. Who were there for her. She wakes, and wordlessly thanks Nub. And Jalt, fighting the other mound furiously. And... Nate? Where was Nate?
She leaps to her feet and arcs Hazirawn up in a swift strike and back across, trying to see if Nate is similarly consumed.
Attack: 14 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Extra Attack: 6 Damage: 12
(Mobile ate my modifiers - should be plus 8 attack and 5 damage)
Both attacks hit. And cut deep into the mound. You miss Nate's form by a hair, but you cut the mound of leafy flesh open; it shudders, and then falls still, collapsing with a soggy almost sigh onto the forest floor.
Nate I believe is still conscious, even if he fails the CON save. So with both mounds defeated, you are out of initiative.
Soar collapses back on the ground, and lays on hands on herself for ten points. She asks how Nate’s doing, and thanks each of her friends for having her back. She nearly died. Again. She heads back to the campfire to stoke it higher so they can see better, and sits quietly, thinking about how you don’t always have to stand in front of dangerous beasts and trust you will survive.
Nub begins the ritual to cast the tiny hut spell over the campsite, exhausted, and falls back asleep.
(Ready for long rest and further travel west if possible.)
It's been a long day, full of events. You all shelter within Nub's new hut, and the rest of the night passes without any further attacks. You awaken in the morning having completed a long rest. You have also reached level 7. Jalt and Soar can level up. It's up to Klein if you want to level Nate up. I won't level Nub up, in case MaxandDad returns and wants to do it himself.
With that, we've come to the end of Hoard of the Dragon Queen.
Congratulations - it's a rare thing to get to the end of a module in PbP format, as so many games don't make it to the end. Or in this case, the half-way point. :)
I'm going to rename the thread, and now we begin a short interlude as you figure out where you are and take your first steps into Rise of Tiamat. We'll also manage the switchover from Nate/Nub to two new characters in the next week or so I hope.
Four days have passed on your journey westward. Whether you find the forest oppressive or welcoming, it doesn't seem to matter to the trees or the wildlife. Each day is the same, and while you are glad that there are no further attacks, the journey is still tiring and the sense of accomplishment you felt at dealing a serious blow to the cultists is waning, to be replaced by a sense of frustration at your predicament. You don't know where you are, though you guess you must be in one of the larger forests of the world. And you don't know how long until you reach some semblance of civilisation.
Soar, you notice on the way that Hazirawn's attitude to you is a little less friendly. He grumbles quietly in your mind, though loud enough for you to hear: Weak child. Almost devoured by a bush, and needed the turtle creature to save her. I doubt I will stay long with her; the first bandit she meets will slay her and take me as his prize...
Nate can easily forage for food, so it's up to you whether you want to deduct your adventuring rations during this period. The end of the fourth day comes and goes, and you make camp once again. Are you continuing on westward, or trying something else?
Soar arises and spends some time praying to Kelemvor, and talking to whoever's been helping her with these new powers. She's okay if they don't reply. But she tells them about what they've done, where they are, and where they're trying to head. She will speak with animals, especially the birds, to look for any sign of civilization every day. She also prepares find steed the first dday of travel, and sends the elk to range a mile radius out from them, as they travel, looking for any sign of civilization, telepathically updating her.
She also asks Jalt, "is there any way ofsendingOntharr or Leosin a message? Letting them know how we're doing, what we've done, where we might be, where we're headed, asking them what we should be doing? And maybe you're closer to Bahamut that I am to Kelemvor -- do you need an offering to divine what our next steps should be, where we should go? If we should walk in another direction?"
When Hazirawn grumbles and is less friendly than before, Soar is nonplussed, and utterly unbothered. She smiles, thinking at him:
"What a silly little swordy-wordy! Thinking I'm weak, when he can't even move at all himself, and a day after I chopped the head off a dragon. Aren't you just the cutest little grumpypants? Know what cures a big case of the grumps? Flowers!" As she walks for the rest of the day, Soar finds flowering vines and colorful buds to work around Hazirawn's pommel and hilt and cross-guard. She spends a decent amount of time so that it's very intricately done. The scary-looking greatsword has most certainly never been decorated, much less with flowers, and definitely not spoken to by someone who's not scared of it, who thinks its intimidation attempt is adorable. She is not at all concerned.
(Sorry to metagame Jalt with the sending and divination hints, but it seems we have some options on how to talk to our allies, and a less-certain option on how to find some guidance on where to go.)
Really excited about starting the next chapter! Jalt, it'll be fun. Klein and Max, we'll miss you!
Jalt awakens before the end of his long rest and walks bit away from the camp. For the first time in what seems forever, he needs to pray to Bahamut. He prepares his incense and takes out his prayer book and kneels in front of a tree. He closes his eyes and starts to pray to his sovereign deity. All that I do, is in service to you, Great One. You have guided my hand and my head through these trying times and have given me the strength and resolve to carry on. Continue to look over us as we fight the good fight against this cult. May we be showered with the light of your glory, strength and wisdom. Show me the path. Show me the way. Lead us to those whom you would have us defeat. Where is our next destination?
It is during this prayer that Jalt does cast Divination

Hoard of the Dragon Queen - Jalt Rhogar - Dragonborn Cleric (9)
Soar, there is no reply from your fey patron, but you do get a sense of comfort from talking to them.
The replies from the various animals you speak to are still not very helpful. A few creatures mention that they see elves from time to time, but don't know of any places where elves make their burrows or nests. Your elk also finds nothing - do they have a name?
You sense cold loathing from the sword at the flower decoration, though Soar is free to interpret that as just more grumpiness if she wishes. :)
Jalt, you hear the response almost immediately, a powerful voice of no gender, conjuring in your mind immediately the certainty, strength and compassion of Bahamut, though you know from your lessons that it is not Bahamut himself who replies to such a spell, but rather one of the gold dragons who make up his court. The voice whispers a reply to you: Find counsel and rest in splendour.
Nate would do his best to explain to Jalt, Soar and Nub the reasons for him not going on any further with his feelings of revenge kind of subsiding with the killing of that dragon not to mention coming close to loosing his life. He'd thank everyone and maybe talk about some of the older times they all had together during the evenings in the forest.
Once the party decided about the next steps, Nate would bid his farewell and just start walking south. He feels stronger having rested a full night after almost being eaten by the plant monsters, and while he has no idea where he is, he feels safe and at peace in the woods.
He will continue walking until he reaches some type of civilization, living in the forest each night until he reaches something.
(OOC: Sorry to see you go, and hope to play again in the future! You've been a great and fun player.)
(OOC: I'll pilot Nub from now on, if that's okay.)
Nub gives Nate a big hug, and looks a little embarrassed, but wishes him well on his journey. Take care, my friend, and please find new companions and new adventures when you are ready. The world needs your courage, I think.
Jalt will make his way back to the group as Nate is saying his goodbyes. He bids him luck in his further travels and says I hope you found the peace you were looking for. To Soar, I have communed with one of Bahamut's court. And I believe you are right. We must get word to Leosin. What shall our message to him say?

Would you accept the CON save with advantage due to this:
CON saves are made with advantage against plants that are magically created or manipulated to impede movement

rolled it with ad. just in case.
I'm desperate here. lol

That's a fail. Nate takes 10 bludgeoning damage.
Nub is up.
Can Nub feed the potion to Soar as a bonus action, or is it an action? He does so regardless.
It's an action. He still has a bonus action if he wishes.
Soar recovers consciousness and 10 HP.
(I don't think Nub has many useful bonus actions, so we'll continue.)
Mound 2's most appealing target is now Jalt, so it makes two attacks, slamming its leafy flesh into the dragonborn:
Attack: 11 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Attack: 8 Damage: 11
One attack just misses, the other bounces harmlessly off Jalt's armour.
Soar is up, and also prone.

Nate falls out of the plant, covered in it's goo or whatever is inside of it. He responds to Soar telling her he thinks he's ok.
Nate will most definitely level up to 7!
