"Don't you worry! We will get you to safety in no time!" Chip would shout as he draws his longsword and horn. Holding the horn to his scaly lips, hs would blow a few powerful blasts through the instrument before drumming towards the creature.
Rekuberk sees the thing and will ready himself for combat as well, pulling one of his hand axes off his back as he appears to be ready to throw it once he is close enough.
Kazri sees the monster, and her medallion starts to glow, for she knows that the creature is pure evil. She cannot stand the sight of such foul creature.

The smell of Ozone again fills the air about Rhogar as low, guttural growl emanates from him. He speaks but one word in draconic, but power behind it fills Kazri's, Rekuberk, and his own spirits, causing them to sore from divine fervor.
(@Pal54: Rhogar is casting Bless if able to do it as a part of prep thing, expending a warlock spellslot.)
The monster is about 50-60 feet from you. You cannot tell if it has spotted you.
There looks to be a short wall of stone that was likely the old walls of a house around the area that the monster is in. All that remains in a fireplace. The wall really is just an outline stone on the ground and is easily stepped over.
The windmill is 3 stories tall with a 4 foot iron fence around it with a few gaps.
As the party walks to the south Chill picks up an occasional stone and pockets it in a pouch and later drops one or more and seems to replace them on seemingly random basis. As he approaches the windmill and the monster moves from behind the house he quickly brings his crossbow up but waits to see what the others in the party do. He is ready to fire if the monster turns to attack them.

Stopping withinsixty feet of the beast, Chip would play another note into his horn before whispering into the mouthpiece. It is hard to understand the muffled draconic words being spoken as he casts dissonant whispers, but as he does so.. the dragonborn's soft and friendly eyes harden and seem to darken for a moment.
Wis 14 save or take 7 psychic damage and must spend its turn moving the maximum distance it can away from me... otherwise it takes half damage and doesn't run.

(@DM: If there's time enough for it, otherwise assume below is Rhogar's actions in the 1st round)
Realizing time to be of the essence after seeing step up, Rhogar promptly pulls out a small hand full of pebbles and seashells. The bubbling anger soon fades from his expression as three of several stones began glowing a dim red. A flick of the wrist sends one flying right for the creature's flank. "Soon as it moves, we all need to make for the inside 'fore it takes to the air!"

Krom recitates a prayer Bless and divine power flows into himself, Chip and Chill then moving toward the windmill he recitates another prayer aiming his warhammer at the creature's head: a flash of light streaks toward the monster. Guiding Bolt11 Plus Bless2 Damage 10

Chip steps forward and casts his spell and the beast tries to resist! Wisdom Save 16
However the creature is overwhelmed by the sounds and turns and moves back 30 feet while the pain in his head hurts him
Kazri dashes to the door of the windmill. “I will guard the door. Someone rescue the Midwife.” She puts her shield in front of her in case the monster comes back.
Kazri wishes to destroy the monster, but there is an civilian that they came to rescue, and that takes priority. Perhaps when she is safe, if given opportunity she will engage it.

Using the hill and slope as partial cover, Chill makes his way to the west and south, crouching low to the ground. Trying to move as stealthy as possible he uses his movement plus cunning action (BA) to dash around to the SW corner of the windmill. Once in position he will get the manticore in the sights of the his crossbow and fire!
Stealth - 16
Attack: 18 Damage: 8 Use the first roll only if stealth doesn't work.
Plus sneak attack damage if his stealth is successful or someone gets within 5 feet of the manticore. 4
Rekuburk moves forward and prepares to dodge if attacked
Krom moves forward and when he points his hammer at the manticore a flash of light streaks toward it. The manticore is blasted with radiant damage, and the next attack roll made against this target before the end of your next turn has advantage, thanks to the mystical dim light glittering on the target until then.
Chill tries to move stealthy like around to the far corner of the building where he snaps off a shot with his crossbow. But the manticore catches his movement and sees him appear at the corner but despite the mystical glittering on the manticore his bolt flies high and he misses.
Rhogar throws a magic stone at the flank of the beast and hits it where it makes a flash and leaves a nasty looking mark on its hide.
The manticore growls in anger and frustration at the groups interfering with his quarry in the windmill.
He leaps 50 feet into the air and starts swinging his spiked tail and 3 of the deadly spikes fly

"Where are you going?!" Chip would shout as he moves thirty feet closer to the beast hovering in the air. His arms outstretched with his horn in one hand and his sword in the other. "You look tired.. why don't you take a little rest.." The brass scaled dragonborn would say with a grin while casting sleep centered on the manticores location.
17 hp worth of sleep... hoping to make it fall asleep in the air and slam into the ground!
