The tree is burnt to an ash by the Moonbeam's flames, the corpse hanging from it seemingly dancing in the light... The vile fruit curls and withers, turning to shadowy dust.
Rawk hears Ellis' call and feels the healing energy flow through her body easing her mind. She refocuses her efforts and once again attempts to break free.
CHA: 3 + 3 (dang)
She kawws loudly as the pain sets in again and shouts, "Help Tempest, finish the mission. Save yourselves."
Ellis saw as Tempest looked to be doing the ritual but then watching things change and another Vessel coming out before hearing Rawk, shocked as he was conflicted in what to do. They had a mission, but they promised her father that they would keep her safe too. He didn't like the idea of leaving someone behind to die either while saving himself. "No, not without you! Keep fighting! Your father is waiting for you to come back home!" Ellis called out, casting Cure Wounds on her and giving her a Bardic Inspiration. Please, please let her get free!
Rawk, if that was enough damage to take you down, I'd rule that happened before Ellis's spell. If you pass into unconsciousness, the cloud would dispel. Hence when the spell takes effect you are no longer grappled and blinded.
Seeing the tree react to the moonbeam Erro figures he might be on the right track, if not the right aim. He’ll use his movement to continue back towards his allies, hoping that the locked door would hold what he heard. He’ll attempt to shoot another flaming arrow at the tree... again.
(Got it.) Rawk lets out a small coo as the pain sets in and collapses to the ground. The shadowy tendrils that shrouded her body disperse revealing her unconscious state. Her eyes flutter open as Ellis' spell hits her and she quickly bounds to her feet and flies towards Tempest. "Come we have to defend him while he performs the ritual." she chirps. (action to dash since half movement to stand.)
As Tempest continues the ritual, he feels the faint glow of Rutan's heart getting a little stronger. He also senses the smothering embrace of the Lingering Shadow, pervasive and insidious throughout the Grove - though you sense it has connected itself most firmly with the trees that surround the lake. This seems to way - it invests some of it's power in them, but in turn they help anchoring it to this plane and give it strength, nurtured by repeated and vile sacrifice that pollutes this place. You realise that destroying the trees will make it harder to resist the cleansing effect of the seed.

The Lingering Shadow pushes back against the magic in the seed "Misguided creature, do you really think I would be that easy to dislodge?"
Lingering Shadow's turn
The shadows coalesce and shoot towards Tempest
Attack: 15, damage: 22 necrotic. If hit, make a DC save vs 15 or take 0 constitution damage.
Aspect's Turn
It pauses for a moment with a posture that in a living creature might indicate puzzlement, then steps around the Moonbeam, using it's action to Dash and arriving by Tempest.
Other Things
Erro thinks he hears the distant sound of the outer door being unbolted, and from his position things he sees a couple of the strange serpent-shadows starting to emerge from the ruined buildings.
(I’m afraid to take an action, it’s my turn again now right? Lol)
Erro is thankful that he was able to lock some of the beasts out for now, but his heart drops as he sees more of them streaming towards his already overwhelmed comrades. Erro will try once again to launch a flaming arrow at one of the sneaky elusive trees:
Attack: 12 Damage: 8
He will use his movement to try to position himself between the new hostiles on the field and their target, which was likely Tempest. He will stow his longbow and begin to get out his shield, making as much noise as possible to try and distract the shadows.
”Tempest, you must complete the ritual. The rest of us, if you get hit, hit them back. If you get killed... walk it off!”
Ellis had been so thankful that he healed Rawk as she had fallen but he brought her back, nodding back as he heard her. He then watched as the shadows were attacking Tempest, needing to protect him as he Dashes to him. "Come on Tempest, you can do this!" Ellis says as he gives the other a Bardic Inspiration and prepares to help defend him.
Action: Dash right up next to Tempest between him and the Shadows/Aspect
Tempest continues to move the moon beam to the next closest tree while he performs the ritual and says, "The trees... the shadow is somehow tethered to them. Destroy them if you can."
Rawk will rage again stand around Tempest guarding his body from any attacks and ready an attack with her greataxe for anything that come within reach.
Erro, Ellis and Rawk take up a defensive position around Tempest and the Seed. Erro's arrow hit the tree true, the fire damaging (though not destroying) it. Tempest moves the Moonbeam to another of the trees around the lake, and as it touched the tree you see it burn the shadows from it, and in short order it is reduced to cinder and ash. Tempest feels a weakening in the Lingering Shadow, focusing on the ritual.
Lingering Shadow Save: 25
Rawk strides forward, and as the Vessel reaches towards the group swings and lands a fearful blow on the creature, causing it to stagger back, The baleful voice of the Lingering Shadow crashes through your minds "And still, you are but scratching me," the voice now recognisably angry "and soon, a whole army of my servants will be here. Even were you to succeed your deaths are inevitable."

Lingering Shadow's Turn
Tempest feels the shadows grow darker and colder around him, until he cannot see. Make a charisma save vs a DC of 15. On a failure, you are blinded, grappled and take 18 psychic damage (and don't forget to roll concentration if you take damage) - also, don't forget that grappled means you can still take actions, just your movement is 0. You may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of your turns, taking ongoing damage on a failure. On a success, you ignore all of these effects.
Vessel's Turn
The creature pauses, unable to reach Tempest, with a gaping wound in it's chest. Suddenly, shadows seem to pour out of it in a cold blast. Everyone make a Charisma Save vs a DC of 13. On a failure you take 13 psychic damage - half on a success.
Other Things Turn
You all here the sound of something slamming against the door to get in this place. The two Shadow Snakes are now able to leave the ruined house and start working their way towards you, though will not get to you until the next round.

Hero's Turn, Round 4
Do you like my Boots of Flying?
Erro, you are so distracted by everything that your arrow isn't threaded correctly, it corkscrews away into the darkness....

Action: Cure Wounds for 11
Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration for Rawk (1d6)
Rawk takes 15 psychic damage. Though agonising, it seems to your mind a little weaker than it was before....
Also, just to point out you are grappled, not restrained, so still get action if there is anything you want to do...

Tempest would move the moonbeam directly between himself and the zombie and continue the ritual.
