Walking out into the ceremony, Shae would stand tall and wide-eyed. She'd hold her hands together at her chest as she'd beam with pride taking in all of her surroundings. She could feel the intensity and energy emitting with each pound of the rhythmic drumming. It was hard not to lose herself in the moment. Feeding off of the energy, Shae would bounce and cheer along with the crowd for her protector and in support of Gruk's wise and inspiring words.
Shae will reflect in on herself and what Kam poked at her for earlier today. Heroes are allowed to rest and celebrate their victories. Right? Feeling the familiar warmth of positive energy from the horns blast, Shae will feel a sense of calm and perhaps for once, allow herself to relax. To let go of guilt and anxiety, and to allow herself to have a little fun. As long as she was in the presence of these mighty warriors, she felt safe. Her eyes would fall on Berrus and B'ark. I am safe. She'd smile.
And with that, Shae will pad off to find a place at a table. She'd be guilty of looking for a seat with the most familiar of faces, but most importantly as much within reach of the different kinds of specialties. Her green eyes sparkled with excitement to indulge on as much of the local specialties as she could. Remembering to pace herself, Shae would start off with a small helping to pick at. Though she may have downed a mead and be working on another one sooner than expected, each sip flushing her cheeks and making her eager to engage in conversation.
After the ceremony, where the heroes were supposed to stay together, Maxine was keeping with the crew. Ceremonies are good and all that, but they were not out of the woods yet (quite literally). She carefully tried the local cuisine, giving preference to something recognizable and not too strange of a taste. Unlikely heroes would be poisoned or mind controlled on purpose (unless it's a part of a ceremony) but what is good for poisonous frogs, might not be all that eatable by warm-blooded humanoids.
For a while she entertained the idea to convince Captain to get to the lake and test the boat. But it was too far and pointless too. Interesting, sure, but pointless. So, Maxine just rested and waited for the journey home to begin.
Snively just floats along for the celebration, having fun and relaxing time and talking to everyone while eating and drinking, but with no specific agenda.

Not realizing whether she was supposed to be at a specific table or not, would see Maxine take a seat near by. She makes me feel safe too. Noticing her friend didn't have a smile on her face, Shae would scooch over to sit next to her. "Hey." She'd gently bump her shoulder against Maxine's. "Why so glum, chum?" It was her way of trying to drum up a conversation. Deep down she was secretly fighting back the sadness of the possibility of breaking up their group. She had completely avoided the possibility that Maxine could prefer to go with the rest of the Star Goddess. After a moment of silence, Shae will wrap an arm around her to pull her in for an awkward side hug. "Thank you for being you."
Noticing Berrus wander close by and call out to the Professor, Shae will throw an arm up to wave them down, patting a seat next to her.
Shae will release her affectionate grip on Maxine to let her friend breathe and enjoy her space back. "Nothing..." Her eyes would glance around the table to find her mug to take a sip before looking to Berrus. "Well Maxine did give me instructions on how to make a golumn..." She'd wink. There may be a hint of mischief in her eyes.
Maxine was far from a high born lady and Shae's greetings to her sounded absolutely natural. "Thinking about the road tomorrow. More jungle but at least without hags". Without changing the tone she interrupted herself: "Did you try that fish? At least I think it's a fish and tastes somewhat similar." She answered the hug wholeheartedly, filled her mug and raised it to Berrus's notion: "They sure do, might as well ask for the recipe. To our hosts!"
Shae couldn't help but chuckle for making Berrus choke on his mead, instinctively reaching an arm to pat and rub his back while he coughed it out. She'd beam from Maxine's honest response, she'd make note to try the fish again if she hasn't already and will hastily grab her mug to cheers with Maxine, Berrus when he's done choking, and any others willing to chime in with them. "To our hosts!" She'd take a gulp before placing her mug down.
Without skipping a beat, Shae will reach out to gather a pile of snacks in front of her, being sure to grab some of the fish Maxine suggested. She'd stick something in her mouth and wipe her fingers on her legs before reaching in to shuffle in her bag to pretend to pull out the hags book. "Mmm! 'Xine jus' said somefin' like I ask Kam an' poof! Golumn!" She'd mumble excitedly with her snack held in her mouth.
Seeing she's got about enough of a rise out of Berrus over the golumn, she'd smile sweetly just enjoying the slips of his accent. Even if the mead is making him rather slurry, at least he was chatty and hopefully enjoying himself. She'll swallow her snack and bump her shoulder against his playfully. "I wouldn't do that to you on your day off..." A smirk would tug at her smile, "But someone's gotta keep you on your toes!" Shae would sip on her mead and listen to his comparison of this heat to a forge. She couldn't help but chuckle thinking back on it now. The poor dwarf suffered a lot in this heat, and barely complained. He gets credit for that. "Never felt the heat of a forge to know... hic!"
"This one Maxine?" Shae would point out the fish and pull it over for them to snack on. If Berrus hasn't ate, he should soon otherwise they may not understand him soon?!
Fang not being one for revelry would stand politely with the others during the ceremony and festivities afterwards. Observing all the goings on with a bit of an amused look in his face. Or at least as amused as a lizardfolk’s face can look. Most people would see it as a sneer perhaps. And even though this was a celebration Fang was hyper alert for any sign of trouble or anything that seemed to be out of place.
Berrus smiles at Shae eyes crinkling a bit, n ye all do a grand job o that.Tis a bit hotter then this, but a bit drier. n a little more heat then required fer this ones gadgets. Shae will finally catch a glimpse of Fang in her peripherals. "Fang!" She'll toss him a wave, flagging him to come sit with them too, making sure he had the invitation to join. She'd look back to catch Berrus' smile to her and Maxine, making her heart skip. The scholar in her wanted to observe and watch him work with Maxine, playing in their element. "Think there's a forge worthy of smithing around here?" Shae would ponder out loud accepting Berrus' refill. The things they could create... "Or do you have your own at home...?" She'd add as an afterthought.
Fang would return Shae’s wave and move closer to the table where his three companions were enjoying themselves until he is standing directly behind the three of them.
Fang would politely decline sitting at the table preferring to be on his feet should anything happen. They did just have an encounter with three fey beings after all. Surely something would happen as a result of that. If there are further attempts for him to join in the merriment, Fang would begrudgingly accept a tankard and resume keeping an eye on things while slowing enjoying his beverage.

The warlock would smile when Fang would join as well, even if it were standing for a few moments. She'd nod in thanks and smile in welcome, raising her mug to cheers him. Shae would hope that he would take a moment to enjoy a drink with them, but would not push it. She was able to get Maxine to pipe up, smile a little and join in for one drink, and that she was grateful for. In this moment she was just wanted to enjoy the carefree companionship while they could. It wasn't every day they got to indulge even just a little bit.
Shae would try not to swoon over finally hearing Berrus' baritone laugh over something she said. Though she would make specific note of him sharing some details of himself. Seeker... Trueanvil... All this time she had no idea. Nor did she ever try to ask. She'd tilt her head in curiosity, "A seeker?" She'd pause to listen. A part of her felt bad they dragged him all over the jungle when he had an objective all along. And now she wondered if she could help.
