The wood of the docks creaks and groans at the weight of the struggle taking place upon it, and the air is filled with the efforts of battle; grunts, shouts, clanging and crashing. Aradurk and Tanakir continue to hold back the slaadi, trading hit for hit with the Ser Mary lookalikes as the others stand awaiting room in the fight. They are assisted by an arrow from Hox, just before the kobold is hit in midair by a flying crate, taking the full force of the object flung at full speed by the crownless cyclops, which itself has to duck to avoid a crate thrown by its Killian-controlled companion that has dragged itself back onto the docks. It shouts at the other cyclops in anger, pointing toward the enemies, then braces itself against Wes's arcane hand, taking the impact to no effect.
Despite the speed and strength packed into his small frame, Doramor is helplessly dragged further into the water by Gruun, whose greataxe still functions beneath the waves but is unable to cut past the halfling's impressive armor. Gruun looks to see Rycider beneath the water as well, frantically waving her arms in warning. A large aquatic creature swimming her way has noticed the bugbear grappling with Doramor, and is swimming rapidly his way.
Even more death slaadi have emerged in the city streets. Roccar has plunged himself fully into the fray, ripping into slaad flesh with his magical greataxe, while Ritska holds a few back with a vicious line of lightning. Worry is etched into the voice of the typically calm tiefling as she shouts, "We need to destroy the Hivemind! There are too many!"
Round 4 Order: Players <===== Enemies
Placement: Aradurk and Tanakir are each engaged in melee combat with one death slaad. Gruun and Doramor are grappling underwater, 35 feet away from Aradurk and Tanakir. Killian is 50 feet away from Aradurk and Tanakir. Rycider is underwater, 60 feet away from Aradurk and Tanakir. Hox is in the air, 60 feet away from Aradurk and Tanakir. Wes is 80 feet away from Aradurk and Tanakir. The death slaadi and cyclopes are spread around the docks, between 10-50 feet from Aradurk and Tanakir.
Tracking: Aradurk is hasted for 48 seconds. Tanakir has a dreadful aspect for 48 seconds. Killian has a crown of madness active on a cyclops for 48 seconds. Wes has an arcane hand for 48 seconds. Doramor is hexed for 48 seconds.

Killian is thoroughly unimpressed by her cyclops, but unwilling to both lose the asset, and also have it join the enemy ranks. Doramor is still missing, gone underwater. With not much else to do, Killian draws her longsword, but maintains concentration on the mad cyclops, ordering it to continue attacking the other cyclops.
Tanakir turns away from the Death Slaad in front of him, diving into the water and dashing to make it to the Hivemind (or at least near it). He also lobs a ball of Healing Light towards Aradurk, healing him for 13.
Aradurk tries to parry the claws using a superiority point then launches into his 2 attacks on the slaad. As he swings through on his second attack, he disengages, seeing his mates all going swimming and runs and jumps in.
(OOC: was there any splash damage from ice knife from the last round?)
Wes becoming increasingly agitated that he has been wholly ineffective this bout. Wes moves the hand over to the Slaad that Aradurk is enhanced with and coordinated with Petunia to swing the fist as she flies by the help.
Attack: 27 Damage: 14
Wes will then rush forward trying to get as close as he can into the water, going under if he can where Gruun, Doramor, and the stone are. (Action to perceive where they are? - hoping to find the stone, really).
Aradurk fends a death slaad off, along with Wes's arcane hand, before he and Tanakir leap from the docks, followed closely by the slaadi they are fighting - but even as they crash beneath the waters, Gruun and Doramor are pulling themselves out onto dry land, the bugbear still trying to slam his greataxe through the halfling's armor to no avail. The Hivemind floats alongside Doramor, and one of Hox's arrows flies past into the water.
Aradurk and Tanakir spot the arrow's descent, just in front of a large aquatic aberration; one that had been swimming at Gruun, but now turns to its new targets. Long, vicious tentacles slide through the water in an attempt to batter the new arrivals. Aradurk uses his buoyancy and hasted speed to twist away from the creature's attack, but Tanakir can only block one of the tentacles, and the other slaps at his face. Rycider gives the creature a wide berth, heading for dry land.
Sweat pours from Killian, holding her concentration firmly on the cyclops' madness, demanding it do harm to its companion. Her vision swims, meshing with the cyclops' own as it grabs another nearby crate. With one hand, it launches the missile at the other cyclops, and this time, the heavy object explodes upon its target's head, the dry goods within it flying into a hundred different directions. This proves the tipping point for the other cyclops' patience, and it strikes the maddened cyclops with its own crate, shouting gruffly in an unfamiliar language. Then the crown of twisted iron disappears, Killian feeling the disruption of the spell.
Doramor sprints toward the back of the docks, falling back with the Hivemind. His shouted orders are drowned out, however, but an incredible roar of dozens and dozens of high pitched voices, and one of familiar dwarven brogue. "NAGPU, strike! Nobody messes with the union!" Bohmar Brineboots shouts, leading a charge of a horde of kobolds into the swarm of death slaadi. Roccar cheers, taking the head off of a slaad, his body showing cuts from a number of claws. Ritska stays silent and stoic, throwing eldritch energy into slaadi as a claw fails to force its way through a glowing arcane shield that has surrounded her.
For Rycider:
You spot it as Doramor is climbing out of the water. From this close, you can see that the Hivemind looks to actually be made up of many smaller red ruby gems, almost like a puzzle that's been pieced together.
However, there is one gem that appears to be missing, forming what looks to be a chip in the icosahedron, and what is surely a weak point in the Hivemind.
You will reach dry land in this next round.

Action: Dash, as above, unless they meet resistance during her Move above. If they do, she will try to clear the way with her longsword for Gruun to get to Doramor.

Wes closing in on Doramor’s location. Petunia flies over in unison hovering overhead. She dives with a loud screech, the shared anger of Wes and his familiar have reached a peak. The arcane hand flies over and attempts to slam Doramor once more: Wes also attempts to nullify the magic of the hive mind gem.

Ricky sees Doramor heading her way and launches herself, gymnast style, at the Hivemind.
She belts out a deafening Saprano B5 (if for no other reason than to freak out the Halfling) as she pulls a dagger from her bodice and plunges it into the chip in the lattice.
OOC: Rycider is still underwater, and Doramor has dashed all the way to the back of the docks, so he and the Hivemind are out of range of her at the moment, if you would like to change her action.
Still awaiting Hox's action for Round 5, will give some more time for his action and Rycider's new action before advancing.
OOC: Sorry I'm turned around, If Ricky is coming in from the water towards shore from the ships, shouldn't she be nearer to the end of the pier/dock? Or am I misinterpreting Back of Dock? Either way;
Rycider will hurry to get out of the water at the nearest location where she can do so.
OOC: No worries, that's on me and my descriptions. While you were away, Rycider was trying to swim away from the nasty creature in the water, which was blocking her from the docks, so she's kind of circle around a bit - still near the docks, but Doramor had a round (and some increased speed + dash) to get some distance.
Rycider could get out of the water where Gruun has, which would be 75 feet from Doramor, or get out onto the docks themselves, which would put her closer to Doramor (30 feet), but would also put her in range of the death slaadi.
