Sickle walks across the slowly rising slime to the three pipes, raises his hand, and attempts to create an ice object with the ring that is effectively a three way junction that just causes the three pipes to flow into each other (and not into the room) effectively attempting to seal them off.
Grenk shifted from foot to foot. He waited, even though he wanted to just press all of the buttons and toss the lever a few times. Badger's warning kept his feet planted though but his mouth opened. "Can we just flip a switch or something?"
"Try to get the lever up again first and we go from there," Silas states, "I do not think the ice creation can handle slime if there's enough pressure or just slime amount,"

Badger doesn't object to anyone making an attempt to move the lever back up, either by skill or force. He is losing hope that it is going to return on its own, or that there is any logic whatsoever in the contraption.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
Badger continues to, more fervently play with the knobs. The blue knob can be swung left or right, snapping back into the middle position after being rotated. With each wiggle of the knob, the green crystal that is lit beneath the different configurations moves left or right. The red knob is similar, swinging left or right but going back to the middle. He swings it right and nothing happens, swings it left and nothing happens. Then he hears a voice in his head, "What is it now Gorra?"
Meanwhile, three pillows are pulled out, but before any pillow stuffing can occur, Sickle raises his hand, and a three way junction of ice pipe appears. Sickle ensures enough of the ice goes down the tubes that it has some friction and something to hang to, rather than just falling off the wall. Even so....the triplicate pipe formation slowly starts to slide forward with growing pressure until the ice contraption is blasted off of the wall and flies, just over Badger's head and slams into the far wall with a heavy thud, before sinking into the now 6 inches of slime on the floor.
That contraption may work, if Sickle could figure some way to keep it stuck to the pipes....otherwise the pressure just pops it off. Seeing the pressure involved, Silas looks to his delicate pillow....this may not work.
The group continues to slowly rise on the top of the slime.

Badger pauses in his increasingly frantic control fiddling as the voice enters his mind. He quickly considers the words and who or what 'Gorra' might be, then replies in his mind: Ah yes, sorry to disturb again, but... I seem to have forgotten... how do I turn off the slime pipes again? Or open the door?

Mal will move over to stand next to Badger and see is she can figure out the controls or to at least unstick the control handle.
Investigation: 8
Unfortunately Mal has no idea about any of the controls and then will try and help Sickle with blocking the pipes. "Try that plug again and let's see if I can keep it from flying back out."
Suddenly Mal and Silas move in on the panel next to the gnome and both begin trying to unwork the stuck lever. After a moment, Silas jiggles it a bit left and right. He figures, if maybe he had some fine little tools or something, he could attempt to unstick the leaver. He glances at Mal, knowing she's undone locks and such before. Mal, if you want to roll a Dex Check with thieves tools you can.
Meanwhile, in Badger's head....
"Hmmm, you are not Gorra. You have stuck yourself in his trap? I'm afraid I'm not permitted to assist you in this manner. Best of luck."
Sickle shakes his head at Mal. “Not unless we can try to find a way to get the ice to stick to the pipes.” He calls back to the team on the podium. “Try changing the light with the dial again, then mashing a button or pulling the lever. Also, maybe just hit the blue button again. The red button closed the door, maybe the Blue one opens it?”
Badger turns to Sickle, points at the pipes and says: Wait! Who are you? Then seeing Sickle's confusion and realising he is mixing up two conversations, he amends that to: Urgh, perhaps if your ice extended the full width of the room, the pressure from the slime will be taken by the wall opposite, like a long plug!
Then, directing his original question to its intended telepathic recipient, he asks again: Wait! Who are you? Where are you? Are you one of the old gods of Omu? Who is Gorra?
Meanwhile, Badger will press the red button again, hoping that it will raise the door just as it lowered it. He will also try turning the blue knob until the crystal lights up at position #1, and see if his arcane eye can observe any changes in the rooms.
(Edit) He will also follow Sickle's advice and try the blue button again, to see if it raises the door. It had no effect the first time, but at that time the door was already open.

Mal tries to manipulate the thing with her lock picks, but they don't seem to move, and it seems tough for her to get her tools into the mechanism.
Badger continues his mental exchange, while he begins to more fervently press buttons at random. He presses the red button, a couple of times to be sure, but it does nothing. Then he turns the blue know until the crystal lights up under position 1. He checks his eye....nothing happens. He presses the blue button...and the entire room begins to shake and a horrific screeching grinding sound seems to reverberate through all of the walls. Dust seems to settle from the ceiling as everything shakes. Checking his eye, he witnesses the entire room rotating in a clockwise direction. Through the western most doorway he witnesses a dark open area beyond the opening, but since he can only see 30 feet in the dark with his sensor, he can't see much. When it reaches the north position, it lines up with another passage, but it keeps going. The southern passage now lining up with the passage to the dragon room....but keeps going.
The voice responds, "Gods are such an antiquated concept, don't you think? Oh...you've figured out how to make it rotate. I'm afraid the psychically charged slime is still going to drown you and devour your mind...it was nice speaking with someone new for a change though."
Soon enough the southern most passage lines up with the north passage, while the western passage is now on the eastern side, lining up with another passage of its own. It now seems to match configuration 1. The grinding and shaking stops. Slime continues to pour forth.
Silas steps forward, and with all his might pushes the leaver upwards. It snaps off. He holds the broken lever in his hand and looks around at the group, a bit embarrassed.
The slime is now 7 inches deep and continues to pour out. Mal, you can roll again if you wish.

Grenk looks at the broken handle. The shaft is broken clean from its base. There's nothing he can do unless he can mend two chunks of metal back together. The metal rod of the handle is broken clean off. Mal swears as one of her picks slips out of her hand and slides into the interior of the machine. She pulls out another with several curses.
The slime is now at 8 inches. You figure you've probably got 5 minutes before this entire place fills up and you'll drown in slime regardless of your water walk spell. Mal, you may try again if you wish. (if you dare....lol)

Sadly no. Now you have even more voices in your head it would seem!!
