Edmond - Sounds good, Finnian. I'll tend to the ox first, and then my gear. I have some studying to do, too, especially when it comes to detecting evil.
Animal Handling 22 - After tending the ox, Edmond sets up his gear for sleeping by the fire with his pack as a pillow, weapons and shield on his sleeping bag.
Edit to add - Edmond tends to the ox as part of supper, his weapons, armour and personal exercises during first watch, and sleeping during third and fourth watch
Perception 16
Isn't this great? Wide open spaces...Great big sky, I bet we can see for miles and miles :)
the oxen greatly enjoy your company. Greg notices. Greg: (to Edmond) "Wow, they really taken a liking to you. Have you spent alot of time with animals?"
(OOC: normally for a long rest there is only enough time for three watches [at least thats how i do long rests] unless the party wants to take extra time for a long rest, but in this situation you are escorting Greg he probably will not let you all sleep in.)
you feel confident that the camp is safe during your watch. nothing seems off.
the party takes a long rest and wakes up the next morning. everyone has their morning meal. afterwards, Greg packs up the camp, and begins the journey again.

DMing "Gallia Campaign 1".
Looking for a new game, if you need a player private message me.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Misty will once again be taking her turn to ride in the wagon with Greg. She will keep ehr crossbow near at hand and be watching the countryside as they travel.
Hati, like yesterday, also joins Sikek in the air, letting him scout around the area while he just glides over the wagon as it progresses(or vise-versa XP).
Perception: 12
(lol) He's still very groggy from last night, that branch was more comfortable than he realized.
(OOC: to avoid this getting to repetitive or boring, i will advance the story four days forward to the morning of day 6th of the journey. so minus four more rations from your inventories)
the next four days pass by with no problems. Greg warms up to the group suggesting if this job goes well, he might have another job for you all.
The party and the wagon continue down the road until they get to a spot in the road where two dead horses sprawled about fifty feet ahead of you, blocking the path. Each has several black-feathered arrows sticking out of it. The woods press close to the trail here, with a steep embankment and dense thickets on either side. The saddlebags have been looted.
(OOC: what does the party do? and everyone give me a perception check. [a new one, i don't want to use four bad ones, unless you all really want you can keep the bad ones for fun.])
(OOC: Assuming Misty is on the wagon at this point...)
"Better stop here..." Misty tells Greg, indicating the sight of the horses on the ground ahead. She looks around trying to see what she can from atop the wagon and knowing others are better suited for looking over the area than she is. She readies her crossbow though, in case whoever did this is still around.

Hati, seeing/being told about the dead horses, calls out, "I'll check it out." He flies above the horses, circling around them a few times before landing by them to check them out.

Finnian slips his sling free and quietly loads a stone into it. On seeing Hati fly directly to the horses, he takes a few steps away from the wagon and towards his companion, ready to throw a stone at anything should trouble arise. Once within range, he'll raise a small talisman, his arcane focus, to his lips and sends Hati a Message, saying "What can you see, friend?"
during your watch you think to yourself, boy is it dark tonight.
you hear some wolves howl in the distance, but you can tell they are far enough away to not be in any danger.
you think the camp is safe for tonight.
