Damrius sighs. You can’t say we didn’t give them enough opportunity, but even my patience has a limit. Now I don’t know about you guys but I am knackered. Let’s head home! he taps Gralmor on the shoulder in a friendly way and beckons for the others to lead
Zogri puts back on the chests with Bulvii's help. Good thing you guys were waiting for us here, i dont know about the others but ive had enough battle for this day.
As the cartographer Zogri will take the lead in finding the quickest way to the HQ.
Moraug is at the shop when you guys arrive back to your office. The shop is closed though, so you are let in the back door and go up the stairs to the make-shift conference room. It is exactly as it was when you left early that day, a plank across some crates for the table, and a mismatch of options for sitting around it, a bucket, a box, and other odds and ends for seating.
"Why don't you guys take a rest, and we can get the debrief in the morning." Moraug suggests. "Lia is out and about, and it would be good for her to be here when you tell us what happened, so you don't have to go over it twice."
"Sounds good to me." Raven agrees with a nod. She glances to the others and gives them a smile. "Glad to have had a chance to fight along side you, and hope to do more of that come the morrow." She then would wait for any responses, before heading out into the alley again.
"As any good servant of the gray protector would do, I'll be assisting in delivering the chest and its contents to whatever place we're securing it before I take my needed rest. Perhaps improve the place's safety and stability as much as I can do too."
The gray dwarf says as he drags the chests while following Moraug behind.

"My good dwarf, I think I can protect the treasure..." Maraug says with an amused chuckle. "The question I suppose is if you want the treasure itself, or the coin value of the treasure." He waves off any discussion on this though. "We can discuss in the morning. Go ahead and rest."
Good work today everyone! Cultists deposed. Treacherous Dukes revealed and bountiful treasure recovered. Now I am absolutely knackered so I’ll see you all in the morning. Damrius waves to everyone and heads for the stairs to his room
After dumping the treasure chests inside Zogri will go outside gain and just stand there for while breathing in the open air and enjoying standing on dry ground and not in a confined sewer like tunnel.
Once at ease again he will go inside for some much needed rest.
"As much as I am an avid fan of treasures of different shapes and sizes, coins are what the company need at the moment. I'll offer a prayer to the gray protector for the successful liquidation of our newly gained assets Moraug."
Gralmor replies before making his way back to his resting chamber and take his rest for the day.

You all have a good night's rest. Go ahead and take a long rest. You also all gain a level, so go up to level 4 now.
Post in the PM when you are ready to continue.
Looks like 619 GP worth of treasure from the chests. You can split it as you like, and remember to add up any other treasure you got earlier in the complex, I was not tracking that.
The next morning you all gather back in the make-shift conference room. Lia is also present, as is Moraug. You get everyone up to speed on what has happened.
"Seems like we have two options ahead of us." moraug says. "Lia why don't you tell them what you found out last night."
"Ok." Lia agrees with a nod. "I caught up with Mortlock Vanthampur after he left the bath house, trying to bribe his way out of the city. He gave me a bit more information..."
Putting all of the information you already have, and what she explains you know the following:
•“I was betrayed. These assassins conspired with my brothers to kill me. If you hadn’t come along, I’d be dead. I owe you my life.” •“My family is paying the Dead Three cultists to murder people in the city. Our goal is to prove that the Flaming Fist can’t do its job. Once the city stops paying them, the Flaming Fist will have less of a reason to stay in Baldur’s Gate. With them gone, no one can stand in the way of my mother becoming the city’s next grand duke. If she gets her way, Baldur’s Gate will share Elturel’s fate and get dragged down into the Nine Hells.” •“My mother is one of the three remaining members of the Council of Four, which governs Baldur’s Gate. She was instrumental in convincing Ulder Ravengard to travel to Elturel and meet with its high overseer, Thavius Kreeg. With Ravengard gone, the Flaming Fist is leaderless and vulnerable.” •“The Dead Three cultists receive regular payments from my brother, Amrik, who runs his own moneylending business out of a tavern called the Low Lantern. My mother doesn’t expect much of me, but she thinks the world of Amrik. He’s always been her favorite.” •“My oldest brother, Thurstwell, uses imps as spies throughout the city. He has the bathhouse under surveillance and probably knows you’re here. He’s very sickly and seldom leaves our mother’s estate.”
"So, we can either check out this Low Lantern tavern, or we can go straight to the Vanthampur Villa and see what we can learn there." Moraug says with a glance to the group. "And by we I really mean you guys." He gives you a grin. "What do you think?"
Zogri will ponder for a moment and say Let us follow the trail of money. Lets go to the Low Latern, we might have better odds there instead of going straight to the Villa of someone that might become the next duke.
Taking a few steps forward then stopping again.Let us hope this place does not have a dungeon.
(ooc i assume the 6 of us each receive 100g as a share of the loot and leave the remaining 19g in our reserve/base)
"Well no real chance of a dungeon this time..." Lia says with a grin. "The low lantern is a boat, so it will be to the harbor you will be heading this time around..."
Gathering your gear, you head out, following the directions given to you and your map of the city.
Fog obscures the Low Lantern until you get within a hundred feet of it, whereupon its tall masts and creaking bulk come into view. The converted ship has rigging but no sails, and is anchored to the wharf by thick chains. A wooden staircase climbs from the wharf’s edge to the main deck. A lantern at the bow casts an eerie green light to signify that the tavern is open for business.
I don't think I would trust any drink that came from the hold of that vessel, it's proper creepy, but if you're willing to test your mighty constitution against it my friend then go ahead Damrius looks at the lantern light and frowns I never did understand why sickly green is the chosen colour for most enchantments....

I agree I don't think we'll be able to storm a Dukes villa just yet, lets speak to this Amrik and see what we can scare up
"Agreed, checking the tavern may yield us enough useful information to allow us into the villa that much easier." Bulvii says.
"Whatever the others wish to do is fine by me." Raven chimes in with a shrug.

Ya think we can get a drink before we do any killin'? Dalin looks hopefully at the group.
