With their fingers barely finding enough purchase to maintain leverage on the heavy stone door, Marcon and Vanzaren are able to force it slowly open. As they peer into the lightless area beyond the door, Vanzaren's darkvision adjusts and he sees a short hall leading back to the south. The wall opposite from the secret door features a reinforced iron door while the one at the southern end of the hall appears to be of a much more mundane variety.
As Vanzaren, Marcon and Garet are grappling with the secret door, Ronk hears - or rather senses - a voice speaking to him, seemingly from within his own thoughts:
"...an unusual bugbear you are...less bloodlust than others...but still they chased you away from the Tranquil Serpent! Find you here they will...alert them I shall! Leave me your magic potion on the bridge and be gone from here!"
The internal voice cackles with maniacal laughter as it fades from Ronk's consciousness.
"Excellent eye my friend! Looks as if that adds yet another choice to the selection. What's everyone say? Shall we cross the bridges into the territory beyond or continue down yet another secret rabbit hole? I for one like the secrets"
Rigel whispers after looking over and between the shoulders of the rest.
"Given the two choices, I'm all for goin' down the secret route. Least that way we might get this way we might get the jump on some folk."Marcon admits. "Speak'n of. That door 'cross the way looks a might tougher. Think I can get through it, but not without making some noise if its locked. Any of ya'll good with locks?"He asked quiet but curious as he at least stepped inside the short hallway to at least in position to help at a moment's notice versus any nasty surprises.
"Hey if this on is locked lets check the other one. We can always come back. I'll go, you'll just have to make room. I don't think we have to worry too much about noise. I was in the hallway right next to you during the cistern fight and I didn't hear a thing."
"What are you-?"He glances back, initially in confusion, prior to going "Ah" and slipping back outside so that Rigel could take point. It Spit hadn't moved close enough to provide light by then he 'Psst!' in there direction, as well as wave them over. As he awaits the lantern(torch?) bearer to get close again, he squints back at Ronk, wondering why the bugbear hadn't come over by then.

Ronks lets out a huff of breath and forces himself to turn back and join the others. The entire time the bugbear is shaking his head, as though trying to knock something out of his ear and muttering, "No. No.. No... No, I found that potion. It's mine or my friends', not you..." He looks at the others, with an odd mix of confused frown and sheepish grin. "Sorry... I think I need to rebalance my ki... Or cleans my aura... I'm not really sure. We're not crossing the bridge, though, right?"
Rigel excuses himself sofly as he squeezes past the rest. Once past, he slips down the hall to the other door. He place his ear to the door and takes a moment to listen.
As Ronk steps away from the bridge, the laughter in his head fades into nothingness.
Spit offers to carry Marcon's lantern for him, which is still has its hood down. The store room is brightly lit, but the short hallway discovered behind the secret door is not.
Rigel moves down the short hall and listening at the door at the south end hears nothing as well, but sees the clear outline of a light source coming from the room beyond the door.
Stopit sniffs at the air wafting through the cavern, clearly picking up on the scent of decaying flesh. Catching Spit's attention, he mouths the words: "You want make soup later?"
Spit nods in violent agreement while rubbing his belly.
Rigel slips back down the hall to relate what he saw to the others. In a hushed tone he says,
"I saw some light beyond the door. Couldn't hear anything but to be safe lets try hitting it fast and hard. I'll throw the door open and move as far in and to left as possible. Whoever is going to come in next line up behind me. When you go through move far right. 3rd person take center. Whatever happens the first of us have to move in as far as we can to allow the rest in behind."
Rigel moves a couple steps back and waits for everyone to get situated and ready.
Aside from a raised brow, seeing the Bugbear at least unharmed had been enough for Marcon to brush off most of the strange commentary. Turning to Spit next, Marcon nods and makes sure to show Spit how to have the hood catch. That way when necessary, they could leave it part way open, so that light emitted is kept at a minimum.
Soon after, the ex-farmhand finds himself opening and closing his mouth at least twice over, but never quite saying anything prior to having to scratch his head over Rigel's plan. "So, basically what I was trying to get across earlier, roughly speaking."He deadpans in the end. "Aight. I wanted to at least give these rag's a try first, in case there's any on the otherside ya couldn't quite hear." He gestures to the red length of cloth he at least donned, denoting him as a redbrand.
"Maybe play Ma's old new recruit trick. But, if'n yer insist'n."Marcon said, and more or less readies to be second in line in the rush in plan.

"Well of course we will," Vanzaren agrees. "But let's try to avoid killing anyone in there if we can, leaving them alive always tends to be a better option." With that he's ready to go in third.
Seeing that the others were ready and the order decided, Rigel turns back around and moves to the door. With a quick twist of the knob and a hard shove he pushes open the door and bursts into the room pointing his momentum towards the far left corner of the room.
Ronk waits for Rigel, Marcon, and Vanzaren to enter the room then enters as well, stepping just to the side of the door, not blocking the way in, but ready to prevent anyone from fleeing through it.

Rigel holds back just long enough to make sure Garret is caught up and aware of the situation.
