Opal takes the time to explain what was in the chamber further down the hallway:
This room is wet, and the walls are covered with a slimy, white buildup. There is about an inch and a half of water and mud blanketing the floor. Many overturned pedestals and pieces of broken statuary lie on the floor, partially buried in the mud. Opposite the entrance to this room is another door.
Only one pedestal remains standing, in the northwest corner. On it sits a small, metallic, three-sided pyramid. Overhead in the shadow-draped ceiling are inlaid colored tiles depicting a starry sky and forming strange patterns in the areas above the pedestals.
"This place is very strange," the tabaxi finishes in his husky voice.
Zubin is still in the antechamber, staring thoughtfully at the urns. He glances at the torch in the Obviator's hand and back to the urns. Finally, he fishes out his hooded lantern, fills it from an open urn, and lights it. "That pyramid you found might be important," he replies to Opal while takin an extra moment to make sure the glass protecting the flame is secure. "Or even better, valuable."

The flames burn fitfully as u lite the lantern. It provides only half illumination due to the amber haze all around you.
(OOC: Also, no one else has a torch any longer, since both Cas and Eathan are using Darkvision from the spell Ethan cast. If that is not correct let me know)
"Well, that's hardly a surprise - abandoned city, mysterious zigguraut shrine, sealed tomb and all that. I really should have packed some remove curse scrolls."
"Before we go in - I'm new to the team, so can I ask - who tends to be up-close and personal during a fight? I've a little something that may be useful if we're about to get mixed up in something violent"
"Well, that's hardly a surprise - abandoned city, mysterious zigguraut shrine, sealed tomb and all that. I really should have packed some remove curse scrolls. Have we fully unleashed it, or will we unleash it if we go through these doors? I assume we'll be going through them, of course" says Rik, gesturing at the Bronze doors.
"I'm not terribly talented with lockpicks myself, but I could aid whoever wants to try with a little ditty. Also - I'm new to the team, so can I ask - who tends to be up-close and personal during a fight?"
Cas already opened the doors, the glyfs were on the ground inside of them. It took him five minutes to open the door though, due to how complicated the lock was.
"The dead prelate or whatever says that we will join them. Probably some revenant or we triggered some retaliation further within." She says without looking up from her notes.

“Me, pick me,” Shieldbiter says with a smirk of laughter.
“I didn’t want to presume!” Rik pulls his bandore into position to play, strums a lullaby and casts Protection From Evil and Good on Shieldbiter “I expect, given the general tenor of the writings, that we’ll bump into something undead or aberrant before very long, so this will make it harder for them to hit you, as well as stop you being frightened, charmed or possessed by them. Should last about 10 minutes”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Well then lets get a move on. I am seeing that battleaxe over there (pointing to the far wall) and i want to see what it is all about. Unless anyone wants to go first, I'll just take a leap of faith, ha." Shieldbiter says as he looks around the room to see if there is anything more ominous sticking out to him.
"Before we keep going we'd better take anything we want from here" Cas walks back into the previous room and starts picking up the containers of oil and tucking them away inside his cloak
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.

Shieldbiter already posted about passing those out to each member. Probably a better choice since each weighs 25 pounds. Might be a bit much for one character to carry them all...

Could they fit into my bag of holding if people did not desire to carry them?
Sinsil will read the glyphs if she can.
The glyphs in the floor seal are written in Olman and translate as “Ah, defilers! Now you shall join me in my eternal resting!”

"We've unleashed some kind of curse. Just so you're all aware." Sinsil will say matter of factly.

"Can you determine what kind of kind of curse oh great lorekeeper?" Cas says sarcastically with obvious irritation in his voice

(aha - apologies, I misread. I'll edit my post to make sense)

Shieldbiter passes out and earn to each person.
“My bad guys hopefully we don’t need all of it hopefully we get to a benefit from having some extra.”

Yes.
(OOC: So if anyone wants one grab it up. If you don’t wanna carry it, pop it in the bag.)
