As you reach the halfway chamber you see four rows of shelves cut Into the rock on both left and right sides of the chamber. Most of the shelves contain long dead remains, probably those whose names were carved on the wall in the main chamber. Each set of remains has some small bits of treasure and other items that must have held importance to them in life. In the four corners full suits of colored platemail are displayed each with a different weapon held in front. The Northwestern suit in emerald green tinted has a beautifully crafted halberd. In the Northeast corner is suited in red, displaying a great axe. The Southwestern suit is in blue armed with a great sword. And the last suit is clad in black, a large kite shield in one hand and wicked looking morning star in the other.
You can also see the details of the door at the end of the hallway now with the light sources you have brought. The door seems to be made of fine marble with an interlocking/knotwork design carged into it. In the center of the design looks like an eye with a green gem for its pupil. To the right on the door is some ancient lettering. Sleepy Pete would recognize it as Arcane writing, though not using any variant currently taught.

Peter squints at the writing next to the door. "Instructions on locating urns, undoubtedly. ...Unfortunately, they misspelled all of the words."
He wanders over to green suit of platemail. "Quite impressive!" He examines the suit closely – Perception: 22 – then reaches out and lays one finger on the halberd.

Gotemash to Sleepy Peter and Daishi - Good quality stone work to me is doors that open when they are supposed to, and walls and roofs that stay in one place where they are supposed to.
Investigation 3 and Passive Perception 13, looking for hidden doors
Does the armour and weapons in the corners mean anything?
"Kuori, that is a good idea. We should wait to exploit the breach until we are engaged with the enemy at the main entrance. Let the orcs believe they are ambushing us, when it is we who will ambush them. Since Miss Bree likes to dig holes with her magic, she should do the honors. Myself, Kuori and Noa should attack from the front with the aid of the goblins in tower2. Yessica, Jaeson, Skip, Tibby and Bree can attack through the hole Bree will open up once the fighting at the front begins. I believe i will knock on the front door and ask them to surrender to my judgement. the other 3 goblins will take up positions to cover those going in the backdoor. Does everyone agree with this plan and has anyone located that orc from the gatehouse?"
Perzy'S will say as he wipes the muck from his axe on the dead ogre.
Peter closely examines the green gem "eye" in the middle of the door. "Rather looks like a button, doesn't it? Perhaps if I ring, the service will come take care of us." He gives the gem a good push with the tip of his quarterstaff.
(I presume this door has no handle or other obvious way to open it?)

Gotemash ready with his Hammer and Sickle, standing beside the door with his back to the wall - I'll have a roasted piglet with a yearling cedar on the side to start. Punch it.
"I've not yet seen the orc that remains unaccounted for. However, for the moment, I'll move to the front entrance of the shrine. You've proposed a sound plan, indeed, Perzy'S!"
Kuori will move to the front entrance and prepare herself for the next stage of the battle.
When pushing at the gem with your staff you get no results. You are correct in that there is no normal method of opening the door. You reread the Arcane script and are able to make out the first and last letters are an S an you get a feel of magic around the green gem. It is possible the Arcane letters are a key of sorts and your knowledge of magic would make you feel a more personal interaction with the gem might be required to activate
Seeing Tibby without a crossbow, Skip would offer him his before pulling out a dagger and holding it in one hand and his spoon in the other. "Take this and quit poking me" he would say with a grin.
Noa grinned as their enemies fell and crumbled to his knees for a moment before gathering with the rest of the party. As far as he was concerned, the hobgoblin had a sound plan. If only they could take care of the straggler and tend to the wounded first, it would have been a textbook assault gone successful.
"While I do agree that Perzy'S makes a good plan of attack, I suggest we take care of that last straggler outside the walls, tend to our wounded before proceeding. I think that ogre cracked a rib or two." he groaned before shuffling off behind Kuori. "I could probably annoy the idiots inside too. A few insults here and there could provoke them to attack in anger and I love it when orcs attack in anger."
"Great fighting by the way." He smiled to Perzy'S and Kuori. "Remind me not to cross you two the wrong way."
"You make a very good point, Noa Gala-Vahn. Those who are prepared to engage ought to attempt to rest to some degree or at the very least tend to each other's wounds if they're able. Bree Hill, can you send your familiar around the walls to search for our missing foe? If you can locate him, then one of our ranged fighters and I can remedy the situation as quickly as possible."As Noa approaches her position with his compliment, she plants her swords in the ground at her feet as she makes sure the straps on her gauntlets are properly tightened.
"You fight with skill and perseverance yourself. Though, do not presume that flattery means I'll hold back any more than that ogre did...if the need arises, of course."She smirks and cocks an eyebrow at the wounded brawler. "Banter, nothing more, Noa Gala-Vahn. Now, rest yourself as we seek this missing orc."
Seeing Tibby without a crossbow, Skip would offer him his before pulling out a dagger and holding it in one hand and his spoon in the other. "Take this and quit poking me" he would say with a grin.
"No... I couldn't possibly.." tibby snatches the crossbow and locks and loads it Rambo style.

"Well, it might spell 'Sweets' - which would rule out your order of Roasted Piglet, Gotemash, unless you prefer it candied." With one finger in the air, Peter continues, "It could also be a series of directions like South-West-North-East-West-South. It could also spell 'Spoops' or 'Sexyes' or "Suckus" although I think these unlikely."
"This may require a little more atunement."Peter puts his eye up to it to see if he can see anything through it, or inside it. Then he holds his finger against the gem to see what he can feel.

Pete touches the Halberd with his finger and nothing out of the ordinary happens. Gotemash doesn't find any hidden doors.

"I can definitely open up the patched wall." Bree confirms.
"Sounds good" sKip would say as he holds his crossbow over his shoulder with one hand and adjusts his hat with the other.
ooc: So did tibby find a crossbow?
"Well...." Tibby pokes at skip's belly with his poking stick
