Sparing a wary glance to the crevasse, Callie quickly scurries across the bridge after Grum and <Squelch> and up the stairs to the two doors. For a few seconds she just looks back and forth between the two doors, but after a calming breath and a quickly murmured, "Ena, Mena, Mona, Mite..." she listens at the door on the left for any signs of Redbrand activity.
There is the sound of laughter, accompanied by some mysterious rattling. You hear a groan, then and uproar, and then the sound of coin being shifted across a table. Since that roll is a 25 you know that there are four voices, and that they seem to be playing 'knucklebones' with a relatively high amount of winnings on the table, including possibly a piece of jewelry.
"I count four voices in the room on the left; all gambling on knucklebones by the sound of things. With how well we work together, we'll have no trouble getting the drop on them. If we're up for it, anyway."
(Unless theres any objections, otherwise ignore this) Garr raises his crossbow and urges others to raise their weapons, then counts to three before bursting open the door and training his sights on the closest Redbrand/thug in there
You barrel in through the front and there around a circular table sit four tough-looking human warriors wearing scarlet cloaks with a stack of coins and trinkets is heaped upon the tabletop between them. An open keg sits off to the side and you catch one of them who is turned to it and pouring. They scramble for their blades but were too invested in their game, so you all get a round of surprise!
Grum smirks as he sees new targets, secretly a little disappointed to be using his bow, but appreciating the wisdom in letting Garr go in first and holding back himself after having taken a couple of hits today. There'll be time to swing his blades in due course, he assured himself. He fires his bow at the nearest Redbrand.

Garr moves a bit forward into the doorway, so that others can pass easily but still in position to block anyone charging towards the back line. He fires two bolts towards the closest Redbrands that look the most prepared

<Squelch> focuses on one of the uninjured Redbrands and hastens the call of death. He uses Channel Divinity: Path to he Grave. (The Redbrand has vulnerability against the next attack that hits him).

Brandor leaps into battle, focusing on the Redbrand the Kenku had just targeted. In his usual, down to business manner, he whips into a fighting frenzy. His staff swings in for a heavy hit followed immediately by a kick and finishing with an up-close-and-personal headbutt.

Did we do any sort of resting between last battle and this? Trying to figure if I restored the Ki point I used from the jail cells but it didn't seem like we short rested.
((Oh snap! Crit on the hit with vulnerable, if Brandor just splits that guy in two he won't use flurry lol!))
Malthaza'ar casts sleep in the direction of the Redbrands, trying to capture as many as she can within a 20ft radius. It will affect 23 hit points of creatures.
(No, no rest. I thought about suggesting it, but being in a cavern with an ambiguous creature that can speak into your mind didn't seem like the safest plan!)

Grum's arrow flies into the first Redbrands shoulder, lodging itself through the armour and into the flesh. Immediately following up is one of Garr's bolts, a small flame wreathing off of it to follow up the attack. Brandor comes running in and leaps off the ground, coming down onto the Redbrand weakened by Squelch and slams his staff into the back of his head, the criminal's neck snapping and twisting around to resemble a stick snapped in half with the bottom part still hanging on in an unnatural position as he falls lifeless to the ground. The ruffians all slowly turn to look at you all, unexpecting this flurry of attacks as Malthaza'ar puts the one that Grum and Garr shot as well as another uninjured one to sleep. The last Redbrand looks at you all with panic but he sways from side to side slightly as if about to fall asleep. "Bring it on ya ****in noggers!"
"Not exactly yer lucky dey, laddie..." Brandor make a slow pace to the solitary Redbrand, mostly concerned he might try to wake his friends before they could get the jump on him. After a few measured steps, the dwarf closes the distance with a vault. Kicking at the thug with both feet, tumbling and coming up with an uppercut from his staff.
Callie hisses a curse as her arrow goes wide, then draws her sword and takes off after Brandor. She swipes her bow at the Redbrand as she passes, a feint quickly followed by steel in her other hand.
Brandor runs in and attacks, the first strike missing due to the erratic movements of the beer-stained ruffian, but the kick lands a decisive blow to the gut as Callie follows up with a slash, spilling the Redbrand's guts across the floor.
<End of Combat>
There are two dead Redbrands in front of you as well as two sleeping ones, and they all smell of alcohol and unwashed clothing. Several worn tables and chairs are scattered around this large room. Wooden benches are drawn up against walls decorated with draperies of brown and red, and several ale kegs are propped up and tapped. To our back is the door you came from and another door lies ahead on the opposite side of the chamber.

Grum will take his own rope and tie the two sleeping Redbrands securely, as with the previous two from earlier. If they wake, he'll leave the taking to others. He'll go quietly to the other door and have a listen.
