Nicola will help Vinras with burying the two bandits, say a few prayers and ask forgiveness for their sake and for her own sake. As the excitement subsides and she's left with the horrifying memory of divine power blowing a hole through the one bandit's chest in front of her. Still, she sighs, the show must go on.
"I'm least hurt, I can drive the wagon, if we're hoping to find shelter before nightfall."
Vinras would thank Nicola for the help, finishing the stone cairn above the graves, “That works for me. Though I feel pretty good myself, a little rest and some healing magic go a long ways.” He gives a small chuckle as he takes up his previous position in the rear of the wagon.
The horses seem relieved to be moving on, and pull away willingly. You continue south along the high road, putting miles behind you as the sun sinks over the sea and the sky turns red and orange. Eventually the light begins to fail and you have the choice of continuing in the dark, or finding a spot to camp.
“I know we’ll be a few hours late, but I think making camp sounds a lot better than riding through the night.” Amshoon says looking longingly down at his pack.
Whoever is driving, make me a perception check to find a suitable spot to camp. Also, if anyone has any ideas of how to make your camp secure, shout them out!
Debolsia agrees with the others that stopping for the night would be the safest. She's spent plenty of time traveling and always preferred stopping to rest when the sun went down. It kept her in better spirits compared to the nights that she tried to push through.
She does what she can in assisting with setting up camp. Her first priority was finding some wood to start a fire and then making sure that the area she'd sleep has as few rocks under it as possible.
After a short time, camp is completed. The fire is hard to see from the road and the wagon concealed by brush. The moon rises, bathing the rolling hills in a faint silver light. The breeze carries in the faint sound of waves crashing on the shore. All is peaceful as you settle yourselves to rest.
Debolsia seems happy with the camp that she's setup. She's starting to get better at this. It was always important to make sure you had a good camp while traveling. There were many dangers that could easily be avoided by proper camp setup. With the excitement of the expedition underway and more to come tomorrow, Debolsia decides to get to sleep so she's fresh for more travel tomorrow.
"Goodnight all," she says to no one in particular. "If we do see them again, I hope it's during daylight."
“Ha! Well, I’d just as soon be rid of him. Fate is not kind to bandits in the long run, and I don’t enjoy watching anyone suffer.” Amshoon says, laying on his side next to the fire.
Vinras would have his bed roll out by the fire after he did one more look around the camp, “Indeed, if he does return hope it is after we got some rest...”
Will you be setting a watch at all or sleeping through? If so, you will need to divide the night up between you, or one person take a level of exhaustion. Or if you want to sleep through, then you will all be rested- but will be caught unaware if something attacks during the night. Up to you all!

Amshoon climbs up next Nicola and rests his weary body.

"I agree." Irena replied.
Vinras nodded, “Agreed, setting up camp sounds good.”

Amshoon has a shovel, and will do his part to dig down a foot or two to keep the fire less visible from farther away.

Vinras would look about and keep an eye out for any intruders or unwelcome guest that may come upon the camp while the others set up camp.

Nicola quietly goes around tending to the first aid she cobbled together for everybody, hoping it holds, trying to bolster the party's spirits.
"Hm, that's a good idea Amshoon, I wouldn't have thought of that!"
"Thanks for helping make the fire Debolsia!"
"Glad you're feeling okay Vinras, thanks for watching out for the camp."
Then sitting around the campfire with whoever else is awake, she muses, "Something tells me we haven't seen the last of that bandit..."
Irena smirked. "We havn't seen the last of him yet, but we will."
