( okay, Alvion, you’re up. The Sunflag is 50 ft in the air, your objective is to chain it in place, so the others in the inn can shoot it down. The market square is a big circle surrounded by shops, about a 70ft radius. What do you do?)
Alivont closes his eyes and kneels down as he's wreathed in a silver light, his eyes glimmering as he gains two ethereal wings (Protector aasimar feature - radiant soul). He flies up about 20 feet toward the Sunflag before channeling divine energy, compelling the sunflag to come closer. (Channel divinity - Champion challenge. The sunflag makes a DC 16 wisdom saving throw; it can't move further than 30 ft away if it fails.)
(Side note @DM: This feels like it's going a bit too fast paced - some people haven't rolled initiative yet, plus people need a chance to react before the next message is posted.)
As Michael moves up the stairs with Torin, he nods to Torin's weapon. "I can make that weapon enhanced if you will let me touch it." He tells the other. If allowed he will then touch the crossbow, turning it into a +1 Crossbow (Enhanced Weapon).
Silas nods at Anders, and walks over browsing through different shops, looking at trinkets and the sort, before an ear splitting roar echoes through the market square. Silas gasps, looking blankly at the sky. “ Anders. Get to the inn. “ ( Also make a history check )
Anders:
Anders nods and starts running towards the inn, the juice of the ripe fruit dribbling unnoticed down his chin. He tries to catch a glimpse of the creature that made the sound as he rushes along, that perhaps he may be able to identify it.

You recognize the monster as the Sunflag, and recall that the sack on it's chin contains it's fire gland. ( also roll inititave )
Catching a glimpse of the Sunflag and seeing it go after Alivont in the Market Square, Anders realizes he has no time to make it to the inn and skids to a halt just in time to see the Aasimar flare its wings and fly up to meet the behemoth. "Fire-breather!" he warns Alivont briefly as he turns to orient on the creature.

Torin calmly replies:
"Sorry pal, no offense but... nobody touches my crossbow"
Torin turns away. He readies a crossbow bolt, waiting for a clear shot.
"Alright gang, I dunno what that thing is, but it ain't no joke. Get ready"

(I completely agree with this. I mean, I didn't even get a chance to talk about the Portent dice, which, by the way, I'll answer that I just want to keep the rolls I already made. Before combat, too, it felt like we stayed inside the ship for a fraction of a second, and in the city as well. I'm not trying to call the DM out on this, just stating my view, but in the end, I'll just try to keep up with this pace if nothing changes.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Anders:
Seeing the success that Silas is having with the ranged weaponry, Anders maneuvers to within 60 feet of the flying creature, trying to stay far enough away from any of the others attacking the Sunflag so a firebreath won't be able to catch all of them together. He looks around for anything he can use to lock the behemoth in place so it can't fly away and terrorize the rest of the city, but for the moment, Anders reaches out with a hand and uses his Druidic magic to cause ice to form around the fiery creature, trying to inhibit its next attack:
Frostbite DC 16 Constitution Save or 2d6 cold damage and disadvantage on next attack: *3

(Unless I missed something, I have no clue what you mean by chain. Secondly, you control the pace the game goes at, by posting when you do. The players will react to how often you post and will respond accordingly, if they can. This is how some are being left out, due to you posting before others have a chance to respond. To fix this all you need to do is just slow down when you post. On the 'taking a break' just stop posting on your end, and let everyone who wishes to post do so. Whenever you are ready you can get back online and post the next post from the DM. This way those who have been left out can catch up now while you take a break. PBP makes it very easy to throttle the game to which ever speed you as a DM wish, just realizing that your players may not all be able to sustain faster paces.)
The Sunflag Fails to keep the frost at bay, but due to the extreme heat, he only is hurt a small portion ( resistance to cold damage )
( do you wanna do anything else? )
(Anders used a move to get into place for the shot and an action to cast the Frostbite. He is done for his turn. Even if the damage is reduced, having disadvantage on its next attack will be cool...)

Torin reaches over his back for his crossbow and steadily marches up the stairs, readying himself for the behemoth. Torin mutters to himself:
"Here we go"

The Sunflag is marveled by your magic, and fails the wisdom save. It falls for your magic. ( yeah okay ill wait a bit )

( Silas is up ) Silas moves to the corner of the square, and takes a shot with his longbow
21 ( Wow lucky roll )
It pierces the hide of the beast, sinking in with a shunk. 13 damage.
He readies for the second shot.
26 ( Holly crap )
It sinks in once again, even more effortless than the last. 11 damage.
The Sunflag roars in pain, and you can see the magma boiling in it's body.

Michael shrugs at the refusal, moving on up the stairs. On the roof he takes aim and looses two crossbow bolts at the flying creature...
When it is Michael's turn here are his attacks:
First Attack: 10 Damage: 12
Second Attack: 22 Damage: 12
The first crossbow bolt bounces off the Sunflag's scales. The second hits however.
( i would advice starting with those chains btw )
