DWal will race to those that are dying or dead. He will cast Spare the Dying on all those down, no matter if they are beyond his aid or not, to ensure they will be brought back from death's door.
Gerrard finds one of the sisters has been nearly decapitated, and is beyond saving. The other is barely alive and bleeding heavily; the guards rush to bandage her.
Stonehorn is is bad shape also, although his life does not appear to be in immediate danger. "They killed of them..." he sits on the ground and puts his head in his hands. "Butchers..."
Dwal is able to stabilize the dying young woman. She sleeps comfortably now.

Gerrard:
Looking up from the dead girl sadly, Gerrard replies to the jailer's words, saying, "Master Stonehorn, are these all of the gnolls, or are there others left that attacked your group?" Glancing to the west with concern, he scans the brush for any more approaching gnolls.
Adrenaline drains from his bloodstream as quickly as it came. With the apparent end to the battle he falls to his knees. Blood pouring from his neck and his torso, he raises one hand to his Mask medallion and prays to the mischievous god for a brief respite from the pain. When no immediate relief comes, he does his best to slow the bleeding and forces himself to his feet. He searches out the rest of the party. "Um, Dwal, could you spare a little magic for this?"He removes his hand from his throat as he croaks the request to the dwarf, revealing the hole in his neck.

Dwal
Dwal will assist in binding wounds and the like for those that are injured. Medicine: 11 Dwal will use healing magics if needed, first on anyone in the party who is injured, then on the guards if they cannot make it back to town without it.
"That should stanch the bleeding for a bit lad." Dwal tells Kei.
While doing so Dwal will ponder out loud: "Why would the Gnolls venture so close to town?" Dwal asks. "Why attack folks? Is this a scouting party or a war band?"
Dwal strokes his big beautiful beard for a moment then suggests: "Ye may want to hunt them down but, since we are not fully prepared for such a war I suggest we return to town, heal and rest, then return and hunt these things down properly. Though these lads may be able to make it back, the lass is stable but still needs care and the others aren't hardened enough the face such an evil lot."
"I'll have a look around to see if there are any stragglers, Master Stonehorn. We should also check to see if there are any survivors where you fought the Gnolls," responds Gerrard. To Peri, he adds, "That lead Gnoll had some nice items, Master Fenwader. I'd say we earned whatever coin or utility we can get from them--and maybe find some clue as to why they attacked the town too." Grabbing his healing kit, Gerrard starts towards the path Stonehorn left to see if there were any surviving Gnolls or townsfolk back that way.
Edit: "I defer to you about hunting down the Gnolls, Brother Fiercehammer, but if there is any possibility a townsperson may still be alive, we should backtrack to Mater Stonehorn's battlefield," responds Gerrard to Dwal's reasoning.
Peri nods to Gerrard and goes to the fallen gnoll leader, using his Eldritch Sight to search for any magical items or effects. He'll also go through whatever purse/pack/bag it was carrying to see if there are any clues to the gnolls' motivations.
At the talk of loot, the bard draws himself together enough to join Peri in checking out the bodies.

Peri concludes that the gnoll's ornate glaive is definitely arcane in nature. It carried nothing else of value.
Gerrard tracks Stonehorn's path back past the bloody rock - a boulder covered in fresh human limbs torn from their sockets - to a small clearing just east. There he counts ten dismembered bodies - the remains of Stonehorn's force, heaped into a pile by the gnolls.
Alone for the moment, Gerrard sinks to his knees and weeps for the citizens of Saltmarsh. Knowing he cannot carry their remains or spare the time to bury them, he quickly rejoins the party, his eyes dry but reddened. "They were beyond saving," he says simply to the others, offering to help carry the surviving wounded and then withdrawing into his thoughts as they walked.

Kerric Brightblade - Elven Warrior in "Apocalypse"
Peri spots him first. An older man - heavy, 60ish, with a full grey beard - watching from the scrub, a stick in his hand. He stands mostly naked in the cold weather, a thin grey tunic around his waist. His expression is flat, seemingly unaffected by the chilly early winter breeze. His beard is filthy, with bits of debris stuck in it.
"Begone," he says to Peri, waving him away like a child.
As Gerrard makes his report, "What do you mean, all of 'em?! Did you see Farbern's body?" He runs over to Stonehorn. "Were there no survivors, then? How many gnolls were up there?" That's when he sees the old man, who immediately tries to shoo him off. He looks to his companions, not certain the man is real, but none have noticed him yet -- or maybe only Peri can see the apparition? He takes one step toward the figure, bows politely (it pays to be respectful to spooks and spirits, his grand-dad always said), and says, "Good mornin', sir! As you can see, we're about to depart, as soon as we can see to our wounded. If it's not too forward, why are you out here in the middle of a battlefield? There may be more of them hyena-headed murderers about, so if you're still livin' you might want to head toward the safety of the town walls."
...he mouths, although the words do not seem to be coming from this man, but rather through him. The language does not sound like any you are familiar with, but the menacing voice sends chills down your spine.
