Jardor rushes back into the pit, trying to stay to his previous path to avoid breaking too many additional eggs, and swings his sword down once again on the other snake.

Gathrik will head over to the graveyard and find a quiet spot. Taking out the two berries he found, he tries to use what little equipment he has to condense them into an aplicable poison-like oil.
Intelligence: 7 Wisdom: 18
Gathrik's attempt goes badly, and the poison herbs are destroyed. Thankfully he avoided getting poisonned himself.
This is what I had typed when I thought the battle was over...then I saw the retcon for the corrected attack roll...keeping it in case this attack hits as that will likely be a killing blow...otherwise I will edit back and kill this text. Seems likely that will do it...I will let the flavor/rp below stand unless you indicate the snake is still kicking...er...squeezing.
Jardor takes a moment to clean his sword as he calls out to Gara.
"The coast is clear. You can come out now. That shell of yours is quite impressive!"
He turns to the goblins as he retrieves his hand axes. "You both did well. Gather up those eggs that were not destroyed and see what meat you can harvest off of the snake corpses as well. The village will laud you as great hunters for your efforts in bringing down the beasts."
He offers Gara a hand to help him up from his prone position.
"Have we gathered what we need out here? It would not do to be caught out in this wilderness after dark."
The goblins cheer as your greatsword stabs the snake through its open jaws and nearly beheads it. As mentionned before, you find 5 large snake eggs.
The two goblins can barely hold a single snake corpse between the two of them together as if it were a giant rope. You will need to carry out the other one.
As you head back, you hear their banter
"I hit it first"
"But I hit harder, your strike barely tickled it"
"But I hit more times..."
Eventually their banter moves to needing to craft some slings to throw things better. You arrive back to the village without further incident.
(OOC: If there's nothing else, I'll move the story on to nighttime, when I post tomorrow. Now, who ordered a snakeskin belt?)
As they arrive back at camp, Jardor unloads his cargo of snake corpse and wood materials for the making of weaponry for the goblins. (GM - You did not mention that result before...I was hoping while trail blazing to gather large enough branches to make them more clubs and staves...did the nat 1 perception make it to where I only found rotten wood?)
He then sits with his back against the tower, taking some time to rest before diving back into the work of the day.
(Short Rest - spend 1 hit dice to top off HP and regain second wind before the sure to be battle tonight) 11
Instead of helping with the traps, can i make slings for the two goblins that were fighting with us and help to improve the structure on the 3rd floor a bit, so that they can fight from there?
Gara: sure, you can manufacture a few slings instead of traps. Roll INT. The existing tower fortification result already included your help, though if you roll high enough DEX you might improve it.
Jardor: gathering wood for clubs is included in Gara's Nature roll for your group, and it's trivial enough that you bring enough wood back for basic wooden weapons.
Jardor jolts awake. Whatever dreams he had, they begin to evaporate and become difficult to remember (although fragments of an unclear dream about a long corridor lined with minotaur statues still hover in the back of the mind). He looks around and finds nothing supicious. The goblins are asleep, the couple of sentries they left out look nervous, but nothing more. Serit seems to be in deep meditation like the monks of the Path of Flowing Water staring at their stone gardens.
Yet despite all this, Jardor finds his heartbeat increasing, his hands instinctively reaching to check his weapons is within reach. He didn't wake up by accident. Listening more carefully, he is finally able to hear the sound again. Faint in the distance, but unmistakable, are the giggles of the scavengers, the sound of weapons and screams. It seems to come from the west
From what you remember from the map you have, the only thing west is forest, then the large goblin village, then more forest.
Jardor's attack is just enough to bring down the snake.
Goblins cheer and throw rocks at the one trying the get Gara:
Both hit and actually hurt the snake quite badly. It recoils, but still does not let go.
Attack: 16 Damage: 7, but Gara seems to be relaxing inside his shell.
Jardor is up.
"Okay sunshine. Cuddle time is over"

(Aaand we're done with this minor near-fatal distraction)Jardor takes down the second snake. You find the half buried eggs of the snakes with 5 intact.NVM, something went wrong with the dice roller/engine and I was a 22 attack roll, but now it's 6. Fight continues.
Klorg damages hits the snake
Attack: 15 Damage: 9, Gara chills.
Jardor is up.

I will take a short rest in camp( 12) and i will make an ointment out of the herb that gives me advantage on medicine checks, for Jardors injury (20).

I will stay with healing the arm for now. Also improving the structure, is it dex or more strength for handling the heavy wooden beams?
