"Hello my friends, I have with me quite a few exotic items. I am sure you'll make a benefit by selling them in the city. With the gold, I'll take some of your supplies"
I would like to sell: (Selling first the items that are not showing any sign of the drow culture, then trying to sell the Drow items)
- A variety of silken garments and personal items (from the Drows) - A silver chain headdress set with small onyx stones (50 gp) (from the Drows) - a small moonstone (20 gp) (from the Drows) - Another purse that appears to be a spell component pouch (from the Drows) - On the side tables is a small silver-framed mirror that might be worth something. (from the Drows) - The shrine to Lloth that is covered in a white drape is made of finely carved zurkhwood and bone, and inlaid with semi-precious stones. It may be worth something if you could find a buyer. (from the Drows) - Three Green-gold bracelets (from the ooze chest)
Do they have: - Brewer's Supplies - Cook's Utensils - a new set of crossbow bolt (x20) - one Dice set
The traders only deal in small wares, so they don't have enough money to buy/trade for all the good you offer. They do have dice, cooking utensils, and crossbow bolts, but no brewing supplies. They mention that Gracklstugh is a pretty busy trade town, and should have anything you want.
Because they are a small operation, they cannot afford to buy the expensive items you carry, but will gladly trade you the items mentioned for the component pouch as the garments, linens and other personal items. (OOC They take the green items but not the red below.) - A variety of silken garments and personal items (from the Drows) - A silver chain headdress set with small onyx stones (50 gp) (from the Drows) - a small moonstone (20 gp) (from the Drows) - Another purse that appears to be a spell component pouch (from the Drows) - On the side tables is a small silver-framed mirror that might be worth something. Ooc: I was considering the items to sell more like commun loot. Could I have gold instead. Then I will divide equally between us 4. Then I’ll use my gold to buy my items.
i think it would be more fair (but less role-play, sorry)

(OOG No worries. You get 20 gold for the items in green above. The dice are 1 sp, bolts are 1 gp, and the cook utensil's are 30 gp.)
OOC A thank to Grimnir for the gold. I paid 2 gp for the arrows.
Oorr tries to communicate with the gnomes, after the deal:" Excuse me, good gnomes, can you tell us where are we? Which direction is the closest settlement?" (Common, Giant or Primordial).
Valrish sees a hooded lantern through the gnomes' merch and takes it, showing it to the merchants. "How much is this?" He asks, speaking in Common. He also takes five flasks of oil.

(OOC I'll pay for the flaks with 1 ep)
Since you're buying it with the oil, they'll give you a discount. 4 GP for the lantern.

"You are far from any sort of civilization friend. The closest town is Sloobludop, but by the looks of it, you're heading away from there. Did you stop by? Did it seem like they were in need of supplies? We'd like to unload the rest of our wares before heading up to Blingdenstone. You'll reach Gracklstugh if you keep heading North, Northwest. Be wary though, even though it's an open trade city, there's a lot of shifty people there."
The gnome sitting on the giant lizard speaks up, "We tried to tell that other group not to head that way, but they were pretty insistent."
"I'd stay away from Sloobludop if I were you. Not a very healthy place, last I saw. Religious civil war, rampaging Demon Lord, lake full of things with fangs. . ."

"Some other group traveling towards the derro city. I don't recall they gave us any names, but there was a large Quaggoth fella who thought he was an elf prince. Poor fool. We sold them some rations. Was late yesterday I think?" Some of the other gnomes nod.

They seem shocked at the information, but acknowledge their have been strange happenings in the underdark lately. Perhaps they shouldn't be surprised. They'll avoid the Kuo-toa for now.
You finish resupplying, bid farewell to the gnomes and strike off once more into the underdark. You travel for a couple of more days, sleeping in small caverns, foraging for edible fungi, and keeping an eye out for signs of your companions. Glabbagool serves as very useful monster deterrent. You avoid several encounters simply by the enemies being wary of the gelatinous cube.
On the morning of the third day since you met the traders, you come across tracks easily identified as a group of creatures similar to your companions. Dwarf, Quaggoth, and Drow, etc. It looks like there was some sort of struggle. You follow the tracks, and it leads you to a small tunnel that goes just a short distance from the main path. What awaits you is a grisly scene.
The fresh corpse of a Duergar lies prone on the ground. Several organs from the body have been meticulously laid out around it. The heart, liver, kidneys, and lungs are splayed out on the ground, with unusual markings etched in the dirt around them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Oorr feels a bit of disgusting at seeing the scene. He pretty sure the other group couldn't do this. Maybe another weird creature of the Underdark? (Nature 4)
"Duergars...from Gracklstugh, most likely."
