Con Save vs Frostbite: 12
Eldeth slams her hammer twice into the elemental next to her, ignoring the flames surrounding her. (She takes 8 Fire Damage + 10 from the attacks.) Attack 1 : 27 Damage: 14 Attack 2 : 29 Damage: 16
As the elemental succumbs to the magical hammer blows, it too evaporates into mist, and the ground buckles beneath you. Large cracks appear in the center of the market place and a sickly orange glow emanates from them bathing the hall in an eerie light.
The final elemental rampages through the rest of you, igniting all of you.
The first time it enters a creature's space on a turn, that creature takes 5 (1d10) fire damage and catches fire; until someone takes an action to douse the fire, the creature takes 5 (1d10) fire damage at the start of each of its turns.
(OOG So everyone takes 5 Fire Damage now, and 5 Fire Damage at the start of your turn. It's an action to put yourself out, or just stay on fire.)
It winds through you and ends up near Oorr, taking two flame attacks on him. Attack 1: 13 Damage: 12 Attack 2: 18 Damage: 5

Round 4 22 Belwar 20 Oorr 20 Grimnir 19 Brox 12 Eldeth (HP 33/76) 05 Fire Elemental (1: HP 0/102; 2: HP 0/102; 3: HP 44/102;)
Not the feathers! Both Oorr and Aera are engulfed by the flames and those hurt. With pure instinct, Oorr swiftly casts a protection spell (Absorb Elements) to easy the fire around him. With a furious squawk, Oorr and Aera attack in coordination the last elementals.
The last elemental vanishes, and the ground in the center of the market erupts with orange light. Cracks stretch out from the center of the room. The whole area seems to lurch and causes everyone to catch themselves on nearby stone steps and other objects. As you follow the cracks, they all stem from a central hole that has opened up in the center of the Vault of Kings. Closer inspection reveals the hole to be a near perfect circle. All along the edge of the circle is a yellowish green slime and fungus.
The hole itself seems to be a pit, but you realize quickly that the pit is not down to the Great Forge where Maegera is restless, and which supposedly lies beneath you. No, this pit appears to be a portal to the Abyss. You see various demons flying in the distance, and oozes of all types slowly making their way towards you. In the distance behind you, you hear the shouts of Dwarven soldiers as they make their way here. Just then tentacles of slime and fungus lash out at you from the edge of the pit.
The tentacles lash out, one at each of Eldeth, Brox, and Oorr. Attack on Eldeth: 9 Acid Damage: 20 Attack on Brox: 14 Acid Damage: 23 Attack on Oorr: 24 Acid Damage: 20
Brox and Oorr dodge the blows but Eldeth is slapped with a slimy tentacle. The dwarven shield maiden is looking very weary from the fighting.
You all begin to hear a strange buzzing sound in your head that starts to get louder and louder.
(Everyone please roll a Wisdom Save! DC 18: Failure means you have disadvantage on next attack, saving throw, or ability check. If you fail by 5 or more (so DC 13) you are additionally subjected to Confusion.)
Grimnir, you recognize some of the demons flying around on the other side of the portal. There are several Vrocks which you had an early encounter with after escaping Velkynvelve. You are very familiar with the oozes that are slowly heading your way, and you think you spot a line of fungal spore servants of various types, including myconid. The rim of the portal is entirely covered by a slimy sticky ooze which is currently lashing at you with tentacles. It's almost as if the portal is alive. Hopefully attacking the edge of it, or the tentacles will work.
Belwar, your knowledge of the Abyss extends beyond just what you can observe. The portal is being created by an Alkilith demon which is the slime and muck that is surrounding the portal area. These demons surround windows, and other openings, creating portals to the Abyss for other demon's to enter into the material realm. This one is particularly large, and seems to have formed around the gaping cracks in the floor of the Vault of Kings. You can attempt to kill it by doing damage to the demon and it's tentacles, but it won't be easy. You estimate you have about 10 minutes before the demons rushing from the other side reach the portal.

"Oh, how I wish I'd prepared banishment today," I gripe quietly, before lighting an 11-damage bonfire on the mold on the far side of the portal, if only to see whether or not it's susceptible to fire.
Brox swings Dawnbringer against the elemental in front of her:
to hit: 15 for damage 6
Then she swings again:
to hit: 14 for damage 12 When Brox realises that she connects with the elemental, she again infuses her attack with another divine smite: 11
I assess the situation, shrug, and frostbite the second elemental for 9.
