Should a range weapon attack come her way (before or after her actions), Rain will react with deflect missle which reduces its damage and able to catch it if reduced to 0 provided she can hold it in one hand with the other being free.
As the drow guard is taken down rather quickly, submitting to multiple blows for several of the prisoners before even having a chance to grab rain, you all hear a faint screeching sound coming from the cavern. Even as Ilvara brandishs her scourge, the other drow moving into position, the sound of heavy boots falling on the wooden planks to the bridges connecting the stalagmites, the screeching only grows in volume until it completely fills the cavern.
Ilvara raises her scourge, Asha brandishing a wand, as they too are now distracted by the schreeching sound. For a moment the area goes still, other than another swift kick by the monk to the downed drows face, silencing his struggles for the moment. Then the schreeching returns, even louder this time, so loud it almost instantly causes all of you to get the worst headache youve had in your life.
Several of the other prisoners are forced to cup their hands over their ears as the high pitched wail grows to deafening porportions and becomes nauseating to endure. The Drow themselves seem extremely perplexed by the sudden and violent noise echoing through Velkynvelve, as the quiet sound of wings flapping hard against the air can barely be heard amoungst the cocophony of ear splitting shrieking.
Just barely visable, flying quickly through the darkness, you all catch glinpses of vulture like demonic looking creatures, giving chase to a smaller, more inscectoid looking one, and what sounds like more on the way. Fighting against the Drow would be bad enough on its own, but now it appears that demonic entities are now contending with each other, and the Drow, not to mention the quaggoths, its like literally all hell has broken loose
The Deep gnome Jimjar, yells out to you all as several of the other prisoners start scattering every which way they can manage. "If y'all be wanting to get out of here, I think nows the time!" He shouts, dashing towards the largest stalagmite. (You guys have been here long enough that you know hes heading towards the guard tower. Probably the best chance you all have of getting your gear back, as well as gettting any extra equipment you think you might need while trying to escape the Underdark.)
(You guys are moving through area 6, the shrine to Lolth room. If you go downstairs you'll be in Ilvaras chambers. Continuing forward behind Jimjar will lead you across the rope bridge and to the guard tower. Heres a map to help you guys visualize.)
Continuing forward you all enter the guard tower. Thankfully there arent any guards present. It would appear that they are all too busy trying to fight off the demons as you hear more shouting and vollys of arrows being let loose.
Jimjar is currently looking around, hoping to find something to help relieve himself of his manacles. There are two chests made of wood on the floor as well as a rope ladder going up to the top of the stalagmite. Jimjar quickly shouts to you all, as you see one of the other prisoners, Eldeth the dwarf, emerge through the darkness and into the guard tower.
Quick! Cut the ropes! They wont be able to get to us then!
The armory is upstairs! Once I find a set of keys to these blasted manacles ill have all of us free! Dwarf has a point though, we cut that bridge then Ilvara and her goons won't be able to catch us! Any of you got a knife?

Rain follows after Jimjar, picking up Ag on the way out and uses patient defense to keep any incoming attacks away.

Ag grabs hold of a rope, his eyes glow white, and then his hand glows on the rope, doing 2 radiant damage to the rope.
