Elwin grimaced. He'd always figured creatures such as this, especially after being caught doing the sorts of heinous things they were doing, were to simply be put down like rabid dogs. Part of him wondered if such swift action would be unbecoming of a knight (the rest of him didn't really see how it could be.)
Walking over to the remaining hags, he points the blade of his spear at one. "It would be most efficient to just deliver justice here and now. I don't see the point of a trial, and I'm not sure it's worth risking keeping them alive to try to get information. As if they'd give us any."
Of course, he believed it was true; Elwin was thinking almost purely from a practical standpoint, even if he felt they deserved death. He cocked his head and glanced around, looking for input from the others before taking further action.
Del is uneasy about killing folk while unconscious, 'cept fiends and such. Green hags, evil fey, are a border case Search them first, I don't think the lesser hags can go ethereal without help. And, we know there is dissent in their ranks, from the letters we've captured. Maybe we can use that. Maybe they'd rather die than face the Greyelf's vengeance, and we can oblige them if they say so. While we are at it, I suppose the whole camp wants searching, especially the houses of the leaders up where the northeast sector used to be. I guess I'd better stay with the cat and alert y'all what they do. Directing to the 3 ghostie folk Hey, goobers! You've lost here! Why don't you bugger off and wait for us to track you down later?

Elwin lowered his spear point. He wasn't about to let these hags out of his sight; he would let Quentin and Mindartis examine whatever they needed to at the tree.
Quentin casts his spell and climbs on Mindartis's back, using him for a magic carpet. They fly up among the branches of the tree. The tree takes no hostile actions against them. The tree is a massive oak, large enough to house a small village within its trunk. You can see many burns and shattered branches and damaged areas. As you get near the top, you see small hollows and holes, that the cats and birds pop freely in and out of. There are also some platforms formed by great branches woven together, unnaturally smooth on top, but looking as if they have grown that way, rather than having been modified. Small birds flitter along beside you, occasionally perching on your heads or shoulders.
As Del continues to watch the area where Greyelf and the hags were last seen, the cat yawns and says. "Told you, they gone. You going to maybe ties these ones up, too?" She gestures with her tail toward the three unconscious Gnoll Fangs, who are beginning to stir.

Del feels no hesitance at offing the unconscious fiends; he had missed that they survived at all. He will use Sacred Flame at each in turn DC16 DEX save or 13 radiant damage (then 11 and 5 )
Not having anyone to watch, Del takes back what he said before, apologizing to his allies and the cat for being a doofus. He will do a search (and suggest E and R help too) and survey of the area - first the live green hags then the dead night hag then the houses, and E and R can take whatever choice they want if they want

Del quickly dispatches the three demonic gnolls before they entirely wake up from the sprite poison. Roll investigation to search the hags.
The tents and shacks are temporary, utilitarian structures. There are stores of arrows, barrels of pitch for the catapults, simple armors and weapons, crates of rations, a smithy and workshop with smith's, woodworking, leatherworking and carpenter's tools. The second contains two triple bunk beds and some camp stools around a fire pit, and a large, heavy chest partly sunk into the dirt floor.

Raven would ask Del why we are keeping the hags alive. If he has no good reason to do so, then she would take them out as well. She has no use for captive hags or gnolls.
She would help look through the bodies, tents, and hq areas. She would help with the chest, or use her own check if needed to open it herself. (Let me know if that is needed here...)

Del gets the chest open and finds no traps. It is filled with sacks of copper and silver coins, probably the payroll for the troops. (If you count it later it comes to685 gold. A smaller box inside the chest contains 500 in gold coins.
Quentin sees many birds watching him hopefully or expectantly, but not in a very Zanderfellish way. He's pretty sure the wizard he met in his dream is not flying among them.
Elwin searches the living green hags very thoroughly. He finds each of them wearing a matching emerald pendant inscribed with a green snake symbol, probably worth about 25gp. One has a strangely constructed ring, the other wears a woven snakeskin headband with three beryl gems set in it. Together they were carrying 49 in gold. There are a few unmarked vials of liquid in the pockets of one of them. You find no transportation loops or obviously magical items on them.
Raven searches the dead bodies. On one of the gnoll fangs she finds a very large transportation hoop. Condition: 5 (1-10 unusable, 11-20 still intact.)
