Ah do believe the Young Boy Box said tha nasty man resides 'tward tha middle of this island. If ah am in danger, let's make damn sure of it. Ricky smiles and leaves the cave to see how to access the rest of the island.
“Since the whole world is in danger,” Tanakir says dryly, “then Rycider’s case in nothing special. If Denorian truly is here, then we will have to approach him... tactfully. Or with swords drawn and spells prepped.”
The most obvious path into the island, and the only one that you can see, is the beach in sight from Maverick's original approach. There is no visible path from the cave to the beach, so a return to the boat is likely the simplest way there. The mist that shrouds much of the island hides anything further than 15 feet from the shore, except for the stone spire that rises high above it, so all that can be seen is the rocky, sandy approach.
A large form rises from the mist as Maverick is drawn up onto the beach. Further ahead, half buried in the sands, is some sort of ancient shipwreck. Judging by its size, it could have been three to four times as large as your small longboat.
The tide has washed away any fresh markings in the sand, which appears perfectly smoothed leading up to the wreck. Beyond that, the mist obstructs any view further into the island.

Hox Perception (Disadvantage-Sunlight Sensitivity): Lower of 16 or 25
Hox peers through the area while Rycider pulls Maverick onto the shore and ties it off.
The area around the wreck is flat for about 100 feet before sloping upward further into the island. Hox sees very little about the surface of the wreck; everything that is exposed to the air is rotting or weathered. There is one section where the ship's hull forms an opening, like a cave. When Hox stops to look in, he is greeted by a series of high pitched screams.
The screams reverberate through the area, and a half dozen kobolds charge from the hull, while another dozen run whooping and hollering from further in the island. Their skin is mottled, and gray, and they appear feral as they run toward the party with their weapons drawn. Most carry daggers, but the dozen running from either side of the inland are loading rocks into slings.
Placement: There are three groups of six kobolds each, one inside of the ship and two further inland. Hox is 20 feet away from the group in the ship and 60 feet away from the others. The rest of the party is 60 feet away from the group in the ship and 100 feet away from the others.
Killian draws her sword and moves ahead, keeping her stance ready and her movements fluid, with an eye to the sling throwers. "Hox! Do you care if we kill them?" she calls out.
Move: Move towards the ship (and thus the kobolds) 30' Action: Take the Dodge Action to prevent (or try) getting tagged by sling rocks or the like.

Aradurk stands tall, his chest puffed out - he grunts out in defiance of the numbers, points at each within sight, then draws his finger across his throat to indicate what he plans on doing to the kobolds. His mouth erupts into a cruel toothy grin. "Come, come, come - you have come to the right place to die." Intimidation: 18

Once back aboard the Maverick, Gruun will help row the boat to their new landing and help getting any gear across to the shore.
