GRUUN & HOX:

Continuing forward toward a bend in the passage, a slight click is the only sound you need to hear to dive forward, rolling back to a standing position outside of the range of a heavy net that falls from the ceiling, coated with nasty barbs.
Danger averted, you press forward to find your path impeded around another pair of bends; a large statue has toppled over to block the corridor, with its face pressed against the wall.

Tanakir and Rycider charge, a moving darkness that rushes through the openings between otyughs.
Meanwhile, near the entrance to the room Killian stands her ground. Her sword cuts easily through the first otyugh's flesh, and the creature gnashes in response; its teeth only scrape the paladin past her armor. She ducks beneath a tentacle that comes flying in, but a second wraps around her painfully, restraining her while tiny barbs scrape against the armor.
The vampire spawn is set upon by a second otyugh that also wraps it in a tentacle. Though the undead creature's wound quickly repairs itself, it is not able to pull free.
The remaining otyughs have awoken and stood. Their gaze ignores the darkness as they close in on Killian and her controlled spawn.
Round 2 Order: Otyughs Players <===== The vampire spawn has taken its action to try and escape the grapple.
Placement: Five otyughs are spread about the room. All are within movement range of Killian. Tanakir and Rycider are 30 feet into the room, heading for the opposite door.
Health: Killian is lightly wounded. The vampire spawn is lightly wounded.
When no reply comes to Hox, Gruun hefts the large statue up and back into a standing position, clearing the passage forward. The corridor bends to the left, and brings you to a T-shaped intersection. If Gruun's studying is correct, the left path will take you to a room that stands alone, while the right path leads to a room that continues into another passage.

OOC: Tanakir's action is readied, dependent on Killian's action. Awaiting Killian and Rycider's actions for Round 2 before continuing.
"There should be a room to the left we need to investigate. Let's go take a peek and if nothing is there this other way will take us further."
Gruun will move down the left side til he reaches the room. He will cautiously examine the door and then open it slowly with his Greataxe at the ready.
Strands of cobwebs dangle from above the entrance to the 50-by-30-foot room when Gruun opens the door. It is very dim inside, but shadows cast from the luminescent walls dance over several holes in the stone floor. Several iron cages fill the room, seemingly empty.

OOC: I will give just a little bit more time for Killian's response. I'd prefer not to bot her for a big moment like this if it can be helped.
"Go!" Killian shouts, while struggling to remove the tentacles that have her restrained. "And when you are through the door, take your darkness with you, I can't see!"
Action: Athletics to be free of the tentacles: 23 Bonus Action: None Reaction: If hit, she will blow a 4th level spell slot on Hellish Rebuke for 42 fire damage or half on Dex Save v. DC 16
Edit: Dang that's nice damage, I hope something hits her.
Gruun will gently close the door and take a few steps back. "Hox I do not like the look of that room but I feel we have little time. Let us go quickly then to the other path."

You leave the foreboding room behind, and Gruun's prediction proves accurate, as the other path wraps around itself a few times but eventually takes you to another wooden door, closed at the end of the corridor.

Tanakir's shout is accentuated by a blast of fire in the middle of the room; Killian, who has freed herself from the otyugh's tentacle, unleashes a gout of flame at the creature that takes it in the face. It stumbles backwards and roars, flailing its tentacle toward the paladin once more. The first only wraps around her shield, but the second wraps around her waist again, constricting and tearing as it restrains her.
A third otyugh approaches the vampire spawn, trying to grab a meal as the otyugh currently holding it slams it into the ground. The resilient body of the creature is repairing most of the wounds the otyughs are inflicting upon it, but it seems dazed by the slam.
A fourth otyugh waits nearby as the fifth approaches. There is not enough room for them to join the fray, but they have cut off Killian's route through the room.
Rycider exits the darkness, reaching the door at the edge of the room.
Round 3 Order: Otyughs Players <=====

The room is apparently the intersection of many passages, as the presence of a door across the room and another on the wall immediately to Gruun's left would indicate.
Two giant creatures sit cross-legged within, in front of a symbol of a single eye etched on the wall. Each of the giants has only a single eye themselves, and one speaks in a booming voice, in a language that only Gruun understands. "Ha du kom zo gi paart zo gruumsh?"
For Gruun:
Speaking Giant, the cyclops said, "Have you come to give honor to Gruumsh?"

Tanakir, hearing the sound of Killian definitely not running, drops Darkness to get a better look at what's going on. When he sees her surrounded, he curses in Primordial before producing Fumble's potion from his belt and drinking it and moving back towards the Otyughs.
Tanakir taps his shield, creating a globe of Darkness centered on it.
"Remember where the door is! Call out when you're clear!"
He'll then take his full movement towards the door.
Rycider commits the position of the door to memory and once the globe of darkness goes up makes a dash for it.

Hox pats the statue, "Hello?"
Tanakir shouts as he hears the sound of combat, "Killian! What are you doing? Do you need help?"
He then readies to move either toward her or towards the door depending on her response.
Gruun will work on pulling the statue out of the way enough for them to pass.
OOC: Finally get to use that 2400lbs push/lift woot!
