As Austin opened the door others moved past her inside and she heard the sounds of attacks being loosed. With a grim glance to the rest of the group, she steps inside the door as well, her rune-carved staff glowing softly. Raising the quarterstaff, she sends a blast of power at the man in noble garb...

On hearing the conversation, Ura figures that the noble in question is either of an evil bent, and searching for subject matters to experiment on -- just like in Cathaan, she thinks -- or, the noble is trying to exterminate something nasty hiding in the corner of the cell with a group of adventurers.
She takes a split second to have a moral quandary, thinking of the goblin she'd killed before, the last time she was too hasty. Then she leans out, and aims... at the noble's lantern, trying to shatter it, or maybe even knock it out of his hand and hurt his wrist in the process so he'll have trouble casting something nasty back at them.
Attack at the lantern: 10 Damage? Doesn't it just break if she hits it? Well anyway: 7 + 10 sneak
After firing her arrow, she yells "Identify yourself and your purpose here, or the next one's going through your throat!"
After that, she beats a hasty retreat around the corner and tries to hide again: BA Stealth: 19

The noble shouts back, as the party closes in,
“You seek to add insult to injury!? You, my captors, ask my purpose? Feeble cowards! Strip me of my weapon, Then come for me bearing arms, spell, and stench? Come hence, slaves of Anton! Meet your end here, At the empty hands of Virgil Milton!"
Viilgahan, having inspected the door and found it to be ensorcelled with a trap, was musing some finer musings about looking and leaping when the Goliath spoke something in response to someone else. A moment later and the Anearis fellow had a bow out and rushed past him. A heartbeat after and the human Austin was throwing spells. He sighed, wondering if Viggo had decided to end his folly and die proper or if some robed thing was asking for assistance with crossing over. Then the retort...
“You seek to add insult to injury!? You, my captors, ask my purpose? Feeble cowards! Strip me of my weapon, then come for me bearing arms, spell, and stench? Come hence, slaves of Anton! Meet your end here, at the empty hands of Virgil Milton!"
The dragonborn had done many things, but what they had rushed into sounded downright absurd. He clacked his tongue against his teeth. Ura had mentioned an Anton, seemed an evil bastard of a sort by her words. Now here someone else was throwing accusations at the lot of them for being on Antons side. He leaned against the wall, not bothering to move forward, crossing his arms and calling out.
"Perhaps a parlay is in order? Provided these adventurers do not cut you down like a dog in the street?!"
His shadow laughed. ...they did strike first..."Mm." was his short reply.
Uthal keeps his grip on the unconscious dwarf. At the man's retort though he lowers his free hand. "We are not on Anton's side, we have come to kill the bastard for his crimes. He captured us the same way he did you. We escaped and have hunted him to this place to get revenge." He then backs up two steps, around the monk, to show that he's not being aggressive.

“An unlikely group forced together by misfortune, Milil be praised, this will make for a much more dynamic story. Still, your haste exceeds your reason, the lot of you could have killed me in cold blood. And all for want of a torch. Hapless heroism makes for for great scapegoats, especially for a man as clever as Anton. Do either of you have a salve or a light source. Proper introductions require proper lighting.“
The noble relaxes his stance, but the entire time had been talking to the dark, likely unable to see as such, being human.
Anearis lowered his bow after hearing the man call them slaves of Anton. Anearis suddenly realized that this was not an enemy. This man was simply another captive to be used for the Berossus dark machinations.
"What my friend says is true. We mean you no harm. All we have met in these ruins are walking deads. We did not expect another to be trapped down here. Ir abelas*."
"Reckless..." Austin chides herself for the second time. She met new people and suddenly was acting like a rookie again. Pulling out a torch she quickly lights it, holding it up.
"I will apologize for my action." She says. The torchlight flickers off of her auburn hair, making it burn golden-red in the room. "I am Austin Ashton, bounty hunter. I tracked a man to these ruins, and joined these others as they battled undead. I had not realized others were down here, other than those we hunted..."
Viilgahan stepped out from the hall at the call for light, his lantern dimming with a gesture as the human Austin lit a torch. He mulled over the idea to play different games than the others, but decided against it. He moved a bit closer to the center of the room and steepled his claws. ...the hexa... he looked at his shadow for a brief moment before turning to the newcomer.
"Well, I will forgive you the humble surroundings. I am Viilgahan a wandering sellspell and itinerant delver into ruins of the yesteryears. These goodly folks I just met..." he gestured with a thumb to the others. "...are here on some personal business. A vendetta and a purging of great evils I believe." he tapped his chest. "I myself, along with the pair of dwarves are here for more...mundane reasons and some arcane study." he gave a small shrug. "There, now you know as much as I and perhaps enough to cast your dice in this game if you care for chance." he paused, idly scratching one of his horns at its base, waiting for the inevitable reply.
Virgil Milton? What a name full of pomp and stuffing, she thinks to herself.
Insight if he's being truthful or not: 4
Ura's eyes narrow. It's fortunate that he doesn't seem hostile to them right now, but she has a deep-seated distrust of nobles and their motivations. And what he said still has her wary.
Slipping past the man unnoticed in the darkness while he's talking to the others, she peeks into each of the cells as she swiftly moves along the eastern wall, looking for just what "the last one cowering in the back" really was. It would probably tell her more about this guy's intentions than any of his pretty words.
Uthal looks over the man with the same hesitation as Ura. "I apologize for nothing. I based my actions on what I knew. What I knew was that evil folks were here, I did not know good ones were. Clearly the gods did not want you dead yet so you are not. Now, what's this about a last one to get and who did you think we were?"
In three of the cells, Ura noticed giant horizontally laying stone slabs. In the fourth, there was nothing but rocks and dirt from a likely cave in at some point long ago. She notices nothing else within them.
Finding nothing of interest, Ura sighs internally, and then, with a wave of her hand, a few whispers, and the careful planting of a Yahn'Keey Candle, manages to prestidigitate the candle, held aloft by her invisible mage hand, right next to the noble. From his other side, she steps out of the shadows and gives him a wave and a sharp smile, all teeth and no warmth.
"Hi there," she says. "So what the big guy said. Tell us what you were looking for and I might start to believe you're not working for the Berossus Brats, really just planted here to trick us."
"Always a chorus, this part. I shall address you all in order and kind."
Virgil, startled by Ura's voice jumps back. "Milil, preserve me!" He calms himself. "Trust me, pilferer, if I was planted here to trick you, you would have been tricked. remaining tight up in a cell would have been a much more effective ruse for such a thing."
Addressing Anearis, "Aneth ara-

He turns to Austin and gives her a slight bow.
"I appreciate the light. Although this place definitely looked better in shadow. *cough* And you, my dear, pack quite the punch, when directed at the proper target, I'm sure you're a testament to your profession."
He places his hand over his heart and nods as he speaks to Viilgahan.
"Viilgahan, was it? I'm not surprised to see a fellow historian of sorts in such humble surroundings, I'm sure we'll have much to discuss in future. Thank you for your prudence."
Virgil casts an irritated look up at Uthal.
"...yes basing action on what little you know would likely cause you to do undue harm."
Virgil dusts himself off.
"And if it wasn't clear by now. I assumed you were more of those, what did you say they were? Dead? You thought I was in league with the dead? In this get-up, barking orders?"
He waves off the thought.
"Never mind! I was attempting to fool them into walking into the cell that they had placed me in, which I escaped from, because I'm not as useless as my other nabbed noble counterpart, Duke Schart. He's probably dead now. He wasn't going to be too meaningful to the story anyway. As I said before, I am Virgil Milton. I am grateful for your arrival, injuries notwithstanding. And I am resolved to join you in seeing Anton brought to ruin and hopefully getting my things back. So whats the plan and did you bring healing supplies, or should I tend to myself?"
Uthal looks him over. "The goddess has given me the power to heal but quite frankly you look in the best health of all of us right now. If that changes I will do what I can."
