OOC: we are under attack and won't get to attack until our turn in initiative. I am regretting not readying an attack and instead trying to talk to a spider.
OOC: I'm sorry, that was my fault. I was the one who thought we could talk to them. I don't know the initiative order but I'm ready to battle.

OOC: you’re good. I’m gonna blame my lack of judgement on me participating in the drinking challenge upstairs. So far, the ettercaps and spiders will all get to attack before we do, unless Lok, Lia and perhaps Thoradin roll a better initiative. Your AC has kept you from being restrained (so far, but the two spiders still might get you) and I am definitely starting off restrained in one of the ettercap’s webs, and who knows what else before I get to act. You and I will get our turns when the initiative gets down to 8 and Hatch’s attack might get spoiled due to his initiative of 5 (i.e. he gets restrained first).
Throm is ready to go! (and wishes we were sitting around the same table)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Initiative: 10
(Sitting around the same table would be great!)
On her turn, Lia will attack the Ettercap on the left twice (Extra Attack) with her longsword (Attack: 25, Damage: 9, Attack: 18, Damage: 8) and using her Bonus Action she will use her Strength of Mind action (assuming we're all within 20 feet) to attack the Ettercap on the right. (DC: 14 Strength Save, Damage: 7)
(I usually play spellcasters and we've levelled up so quickly, so having this many options in attack seems strange to me!)
(Somehow I missed the attack message. 16 didn't hit Quin. She's okay.
Not sure when to put my attack in but I know Throm and I both rolled an 8. Should I just go ahead and say what attack I'm going to make? I will be rolling Eldritch blast (not sure how to roll exactly with such a complicated cantrip but I have Rod of the pact keeper and can shoot two blasts plus I will probably twin the spell using sorcery points and hit the Ettercaps if they're still alive, so it will be four shots with +8 to hit, 1 d10+4 each time). I don't want to assume and go ahead and roll. But I want to. Haha.)

Well, I tried to do the attack roll and damage roll at the same time and that didn't work. I'll do the attack rolls then the damage? Still figuring out this dice roller.

OOC: Sorry team, even raging, I am useless. Pick them off while they are feasting on me. I guess if somehow I don’t get bit twice, I’ll have a chance to help.
OOC I’m going to try to figure out the dice roller. It seems you should be able to do the attack roll and damage roll together but I haven’t quite figured out how. Then it looked like I was cheating or something....lol, I’ll breakdown and read about how to use it. I hate reading instructions. That should be my flaw in every campaign. “Hates reading the instructions."
Forget that! That was too hard. I didn’t manipulate any rolls above! I just re-rolled trying to fix where it said dice cannot be parsed. I will just roll separately from now on. First the attack roll, in this case 1d20 + 8.
For damage, 1d10 +4 so you will know I didn’t cheat. :)

Cellar Battle: ROUND 1
(the spoilers aren't secret, I just put my rolls in there to keep it tidy)
Initiative: Ettercaps 22, Lok 18, Spiders 15, Lia 11, Throm 8, Quin 8, Hatch 5
Ettercaps (22) E1: Web vQuin. miss E2: Web vThrom, hit, Throm restrained
Lok (18): BA Rage. Dagger x2 vE2, hit x2, 16 piercing
Spiders (15) S1: Web vHatch, Attack: 24 miss S2: Web vLok, Attack: 6 miss
Lia (11): LSw x2 vE1, hit x2, 20 slashing. SoM vE2, STR save 5 fail, 11 dmg Throm (8): BA Rage. STR check pass (restrained ends). Action Surge, HXBow x2 vE2, hitx2, 21 piercing, E2 DEAD Quin (8): EB x2 vE1, hit x2, 21 force, E1 DEAD; EB t x2 vS1, hit x1, 8 force Hatch (5): BAxe x2 vS1, hit x2, 12 slashing
===================== Lok and Throm are raging
Despite the sudden attack Quin, Hatch and Lok are wary enough to evade the webs launched by the arachnoid creatures, while Throm was just too darn close for them to miss and becomes encased in sticky fibres. Lok is infuriated by the assault and retaliates against Throm's ettercap on the left with his daggers, striking true with both swings and eliciting a hiss of defiance. Lia also scores two solid hits against the ettercap on the right which shrieks in agony, and then blasts Throm's opponent with her mind, causing it further grief.
Throm can't bear being restrained, and with a yell he rips out of the webbing, drops his torch, and launches two crossbow bolts into the offending ettercap, pinning it through one shoulder and one eye against the cellar wall where it hangs limply. Quin likewise launches two projectiles, this time of a magical nature, and these blast matching holes in the creature, which falls dead to the floor. One of her next shots at the neighbouring spider finds a furry leg, which sizzles with an acrid smell. Hatch draws his sword slowly but with determined intent, and walking past Quin, the tiefling carves two well-planned wounds in the same spider, which writhes in agony.
From the back of the cellar, a voice is heard speaking a language none of the party understand: Azkenik! Janari egokia! Joan eta jan, nire maskotak.
Two ettercaps and one giant spider are dead, but more movement can be heard from further in the cellar.
New enemy Initiative: 7
Two more giant spiders approach through the webs along the west wall, two more along the east, and two more crawl along the ceiling. Lok, you have initiative. However, to speed things up I will include the spiders turn so that if anyone needs to make a saving throw on their turn, they will know about it now...
Spider A(left): Web Recharge 3 fail. Bite v Hatch: 13 miss Spider 1: Web v Hatch 6 miss Spider 2: Web v Quin 19 hit. Quin restrained Spider 3: Web v Throm 10 miss Spider 4: Web v Lok 14 miss Spider 5: Web v Lia 19 miss Spider 6: Web v Lia 21 hit. Lia restrained Spider B(right): Web Recharge 1 fail. Bite v Throm: 23 miss
I have Quin and Hatch on the left facing Spiders A, 1 and 2. I have the two raging barbarians on the right facing Spiders B, 3 and 4. I have Lia in the middle facing Spiders 5 and 6.
Quin and Lia are restrained. As an action, you can make a DC 12 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).
Crabitha: As long as you don't edit your post and add any rolls ABOVE where you've already entered a roll, then you shouldn't get any errors. The post where it said "Unable to parse dice roll" I noticed the damage dice are entered as 'd10' rather than '1d10', so when you enter the damage dice, type it as 1d10 and you should be fine.

Attack 12
Damage 4
Initiative:5
(Feral Instinct gives me advantage on Initiative rolls: 18 )
On Lok's turn he is going to use his bonus action to go into a RAGE
Gripping his dagger, he will move to the closest enemy (preferable one of the Ettercaps)
feeling the rage enter him, he will thrust his dagger and attempt to stab his enemy
To hit: 13
Damage 9
Lok when then very quickly turn the dagger in his hands and use Extra attack to attack again
To hit: 25
Damage 7
