A round stair made out of rocks goes down below. It is leading up to what seems like an emergency basement in case of attacks. A corridor with 4 doors on the north wall and 2 archways on the south wall can be seen. Small green burning torches are lighting up the place. But what interest more Sun are the faint voices he hears to south. Though he cant make out what they are saying. He also hears a faint water flowing sound.

Not because of any lost love for Sun, but because Gwen always felt strange making contact with anyone that wasn't in direct need of her healing hands.

"L-let's not dillydally..." Gwen whispered, worried about the strangers beneath them. She gently pushes past Sun and starts climbing down the steps, her bow at the ready. She walks as quietly as possible, hoping not to give away her position.
(Stealth check: 22. Gwen is ready to notch and fire an arrow if need be.

Sun at the bottom continues to listen closely, but nothing changes. Gwen goes down the stairs and meet with Sun at the bottom. she continues forward slowly against the wall. Reshi Comes to the bottom too, aside from sun he also tries to pinpoint the sound of the talking people. Unfortunately, the only thing he hears is a grinding noise fromt he wall in front of him where Gwen is. Her armor literally clanging against the wall. she also notices it and everytime tries to stop and make sure its not. but she doesn'T seem to be able to stop the armor from making weird noises. She stops midway through the first and second door.
Unknown #1 (Woman's Voice, confident):"...gives me joy to know it will work as intended." Unknown #2 (man's voice, worried but determined):"Yes, but there is a catch. We're not sure we can keep it under control." Unknown #1:"That will not matter as long as she..."
There is a pause in the conversation ahead. Until another unknown voice, much more shy then the other two comes through Unknown #3:""Is there something wrong, High Warden ?" Another silence. The woman speaks again...
Unknown #1:"I think i heard something dragging itself in the corridor !"
A fourth voice is heard... Unknown #4 (Low, strong, Prideful) :"There are intruders, they openned the trapdoor and came down. You 3 come with me to the altar. the rest of you stop them at any cost. we've come too far to be stopped now. nothing will stop my daughters return !"
As the group hears this, they get ready to act. But it seems some of them are leaving, as footsteps seems to vanish further down the southern part of the corridor. From her perspective, Gwen can also see a fountain in between the two archways to the south. Water is flowing and it is probably the cistern for clean water down here. But one thing gets her attention even more, footsteps are coming her way too ! Looking back at the others, she seems to be only one noticing this.

Sun hisses while his claws come out. He grabs his quarterstaff and get's ready to RUMBLE!!
"I guess they heard us. Oh well, I've been itching for a fight for days!" Sun definitely seems to get ready for whatever is coming their way, and doesn't seem too concerned by chasing after those running away right now.
If necessary, here's my initiative roll: 11 (9+2)

Gwen's lips pulled into a wide smile and her eyes became sharp. A fight. A fight! This was something Gwen was good at doing. She hunched over with her bow and uttered a small giggle, "All evil will be vanquished." Though she didn't stutter, she certainly sounded creepy as her voice became low, breathy, and calm. Gwen takes a few, tentative steps toward the sound of walking with her bow drawn.
(Initiative 20. Gwen on the surface likes to pretend she would rather talk things out... but secretly we all know the fastest way to stop evil is to destroy it. ;3)

Some whispers happen. You hear 2 of them making backsteps. Then the younger one yells again... "We'll gladly die for him to succeed. This land is sick and we'll stop at nothing to save it. Go back! We dont need you !"
One of the figure appears next to the fountain. He keeps cover as much as he can. It looks like a young man adorned with a dark grey robe with dark red runes weaved into the fabric. You see him whispers and barely hear what he says. But clearly, he is telling his friends your position.

Gwen hears her allies pleading, but she knows better. These vermin were not reasonable. They have already chosen to forsake goodness in their hearts when they decided to protect the necromancer. Gwen pulled a hand back, materializing a fire and flung it in their general direction. She wanted so badly to hit the young man in her vision, but the others seemed to want to talk this out. She decided to speak in the only language they understood.
"Y-you sided with such an evil person!" Gwen shrieked. "Surrender now or prepare to be smitten!"
Cast Sacred Flame, (It is a Dex Save 14 if anyone happened to be standing behind the young man), deals 7 radiant damage.
