The kobold takes a bolt to the chest, staggers and almost drops.  It fires back at Alton:

K2 and K3 run up with little shortswords, swinging at Wash:

Two solid hits, and Wash is badly injured again.  The final kobold shoots towards Alton:

Even with partial cover, that's a hit and Alton takes a second crossbow bolt.

The drow smiles:  Fools to come here.  He calmly turns and walks away.

Wash and Balassar are up.

As a reaction, heavenly flames surround K2, damaging it for 12 fire damage (half on a DEX 13 save).

As his bonus action Wash uses [Tooltip Not Found] to heal Alton 5  (Tooltip not found = Healing Light)

As his action, Wash disengages from the kobolds and runs up past Balassar using his full 30 ft movement (sticking close to the wall to the right and ducking into an alcove if possible - he will be back after healing).

 K2's DEX save:  20

The poor kobold erupts in agonising flame.  It would have been kinder if this had killed the creature.  Instead it still lives, barely, in excruciating pain and with little chance of surviving in the end.  You monster.  However, Alton is healed and doing much better.  Balassar, you see a badly wounded Wash dash past you and duck into an alcove.

Alton is up.

Allton will dart back towards Balassar and takes a shot at one of the kobolds as he runs past the opening. When he gets closer to Wash he says, "Don't worry, that is just a flesh wound."

Bonus Action: Casts Healing Word on Wash for 6 points of healing

Balassar just grunts "I've seen worse - long as I don't have to take care of you." He just raises his shield and sword now that his companions are behind him and charges forward at the Kobolds.

The drow keeps moving; Balassar you see him disappearing up the passage to the north-east.

Alton, you shoot K3 (as K2 is dead) wounding them very seriously.

K1 and K3 pile in on Balassar:

They fail completely.  K4 attempts a crossbow attack:

Attack: 12 Damage: 6

The kobolds have failed to make much impact.  Wash and Balassar are now up.

Wash calls out "Thank you again friend, I'll return the favour again after we take care of these foes" to Alton.

Wash then moves diagonally down far enough to be able to see K3 (it looks 15 ft), and releases a heavenly blast at it: Attack: 7 Damage: 7.

Wash then ducks back into alcove motioning to Alton and saying "There is room here for us both".

"The dark elf is escaping." he yells as he slashes at the kobold again.

The drow's disappearance has not gone unnoticed by the kobolds, who look a little nervous.  Balassar, you think you hear movement from the north-east, but are not sure.

Alton is up.

"I can't leave Balassar up there to fight on his own." Alton says to Wash as he moves to get into a spot to see into the hallway. Bringing up his hand crossbow, he takes aim down the hallway and fires at one of the kobolds. "We will get to the dark elf soon Balassar."

Movement: 4 squares down and 1 square to the right.
Action: Fires a crossbow bolt at kobold 3, Attack: 10 Damage: 5 Piercing

It's another poor shot, missing entirely.  The kobolds seem to regain a bit of confidence as they attack:

One kobold scores a hit with a shortsword, but the other misses with their blade and the crossbow bolt goes wide, narrowly missing Alton standing far in the back.

Wash and Balassar are up.

Wash moves diagonally down far enough to be able to see K3 (15 ft) again and releases a heavenly blast at it: Attack: 14 Damage: 13.

Wash then runs back into the alcove and calls out "I'm not suggesting we abandon him, it will just be easier to keep him up if we are both up. He is much more capable of deflecting a stray crossbow bolt that you or I."

Balassar instinctively swings at the kobold as it's blade cuts through him. Seeing the situation he continues to press forward with another assault.

OOC:

If it was K3 that hit Balassar and his Vengeful Assault cut it down before Wash had his turn, then Wash would have aimed at whichever kobold was still standing (after moved to be in viewing distance of it, then ducking back as far as possible).

Balassar, with one slash your scimitar chops fatally into kobold 1, and they drop to the ground.  At the same moment, a familiar flash of force energy knocks the other kobold to the ground, and they don't get up.  With your movement, you race to the last remaining enemy and you end the battle swiftly with a slice across their neck.

There are no remaining enemies in sight, but you know the drow is nearby.  Balassar,  you can see passages to the south-east, but the drow headed north-east - you see that the tunnel seems to split about forty feet from where you now stand.

Balassar just looks back at his companions and shouts "The drow headed through the upper tunnel." with that he begins to give chase.
