Sthara moves the spiritual weapon as closer to the yellow creature and moves herself onto the river rock (M15), before firing off a fire bolt at the creature (26 to hit for 2 damage).
Sthara takes careful aim at the unmoving creature as the energy gathers inside her. The fire bolt connects with the creature's backside, exploding as the magics mix. It rolls over coughing out a long spittle of blood. It scrambles to get up but, slips back to the ground. It's still trying to stand when Boosey acts.
Wiping away the green sludge that had covered Boosey after Dunk's attack. Feeling the spell hold person break, he takes aim with his crossbow, Attack: 16 Damage: 9 sending a bolt flying across the river.
The creature never recovers from the bolt now stuck fast in its back. Still hurting from his numerous, tiny wounds Dunk turns side to side looking about, stopping to sniff at the dead frog things. Eku moves so that she can see both sides of the bank and calls across, "Is everyone alright?" She bends to retrieve an arrow, but thinks better of it and leaves them buried in their green skinned targets.
Checking his numerous cuts and bruises Allister calls "Fine, never been better!" across the river. Whisteling and singing "Round and scaly and sweet as mead that fish tailed arse is fine indeed..." he carefully uses his cutlass to dislodge the handaxe from the frog creature and cleans his weapons and armor in the stream. "Hey Eku, that was some nifty shooting. You know if we can harvest the poison somehow?"
Any chance to find any loot without touching the creatures?
Eku whispers more to her self than anyone else, "Fish tailed arse?" She shakes the thought away and returns her attention to the warrior. She hefts her shortbow towards Allister in a sort of weapon salute and says, "Thank you. I have seen my fair share of battles. They are covered in the stuff, these grungs - you could just wipe your weapon on their bodies, but I know not how long it would last." She looks down at one of the green grungs sadly and says, "You poor, stupid thing." 6
Inspecting their bodies doesn't take very long, as these creatures don't have many items on them to speak of. They are outfitted with crude weaponry and no real clothing to speak of, save some tribal jewelry. They definitely didn't travel with whatever valuables they may or may not have. Once Dunk has been calmed down and everyone is across the river Eku says, "Our path was linear to this point, but now the question comes again: Will we take the longer way around following the coast, or are we to shorten the route through the jungle?"
"Ok, never mind. I like to keep my blades clean and working, not sticking in their scabbards." He resumes whisteling and singing "Kissing them buttocks is a pleasure of mine. Thick and curvy and simply divine..." He joins the group on the other side of the river. "So, anyone ready to leave? I don´t want to wait for the rest of the frogs to show up. Their absence will be surely noted among their... tribe? Flock? School?"

While everyone is still fording the river, Nenne will take out a stick of incense, light it briefly, and speak a short prayer over the bodies of the slain. When her friends reach her, they might notice her skin and hair is a shade frostier than before.
"While your bravery is commendable," she says to Allister, "and I ken your tactical wisdom in suggesting a swift departure, I fear you pay your injuries too little heed. If you will permit me..."
Placing gentle fingertips on his forehead, Nenne casts a level 2 Cure Wounds on the fighter for 8 healing. "I would prefer you to rest briefly before continuing this arduous journey, but I will submit to the will of the group."
Eku watches Nenne's incense filled send off and politely asks, "Who do you pray to? I do not recognize the prayer, nor the emblem." She appears to be genuinely interested as far as the cleric can tell.
Seeing the arrow lodge in the creatures back, Boosey waits a moment to make sure it’s not moving before lowering the crossbow. Sighing he walks forward and starts to wash himself in the river, cleaning off mashed frog brain as best he can.
He gives the green frog with the crossbow bolt lodged in it a speculative look, and decides it would be safer to leave it and the other in the Yellow frog. Hearing Allister’s song he says “These arses would be well down my list for kissing. One’s liable to pick up something pretty nasty from these sweet buttocks!”
Indicating the yellow frog he asks, “what the hell was that anyway? Some kind of Grung Wizard?” He shakes his head in wonder. “What made them attack us do you think?”
He turns to Eku. “I’d still like to get to the fort quickly, but which way would be safer? If we have to deal with these things every time we cross a river...” The question is left hanging. “There might be just as nasty things at the coast though. A nice giant squid, kraken or angry turtle might be right up an old salt like Allister’s street. He might even get to meet that mermaid!”
“You know this land better than any of us, Eku, what do you suggest? I agree a rest might be in order, that poison has made me feel quite nauseous. Does anyone else require healing?”
Allister is a bit reluctant to let Nenne touch him with her icy appearance but as the warmth of her healing spell flows through him he changes his demeanor. "Wow, looking like Auril but a touch like Sune. This is gonna be one hell of a tale when I return to the Sword Coast. An icy elf, a maze worshipper and a woman who can shoot a bow like a Tuigan on horseback. About the rest, if you´re up to it I would consider moving on and take a nap at a more defensible position. You can discussion your religion on the way."

"I believe it would be wise for us to continue, as well, though...how fares Dunk?" Sthara asks openly, looking at their beast. "His foot was injured, no?"
To Eku, Nenne smiled quietly and said, "Kelemvor, judge of the dead and the damned. He weighs the souls of those who come to him and guides them down their path. My prayer was a blessing for this creature - that it may embrace its path with honor and peace."
After healing Allister and hearing his compliment, Nenne nods humbly and steps away. She looks at her hand, a little contemplative, and says mostly to herself, "I've spent so long in Winter..." Then, shrugging off some of her dolor, she raises her head to address the group. "The storyteller raises a fair question. Although we proved ourselves capable against these creatures, I too would like to avoid similar entanglements. I would not object to taking a longer route if it decreases the likelihood of encountering more of these frogs. Then again, I am a guest on this journey and may not have the same motivation for haste as the rest of you.
"As for healing, I can provide some as well. And to your inquiry, storyteller, my injuries are minor; if we rest, I shall recover."
"What makes you think you´re a guest of this journey? We fought together, we travel together, you´re part of this. Till all of this ends, or Kelemvor takes us in. And if he does, maybe put in a good word for us. Now, stop brooding and smile. It´s a hot day in a frog invested jungle, hooray!" Allister gives Nenne a big toothy smile and resumes his song. "Grabbing her hips, smacking my lips, kissing the buttocks until I have fits."
Laughing at Allister's song Boosey shouts over "Careful you don't get a frog in the throat with all that kissing!" And he joins in "Make sure she sits, while you're kissing those bits, scaling the heights with a set of fish lips."
He walks over the yellow frog and spits on the ground next to it. "No sympathy for this one. It's led its people to their death, for what? What's worse is it tried to abandon them. there's nothing I hate more than a foolish leader." Sighing he says, ""the five broken lances". I grew up with that story, and it stuck with me how a foolish leader got his men killed for no reason." Looking back down at the yellow frog he says simply, "fool".
"We should move on to rest. There was one escaped, it may bring others down on us". His eyes harden, "The Jungle. If others want to try as these grung did, they are in for a shock."
Nenne chuckles freely and says to Allister, "You sound like an old sergeant of mine. Very well then, warrior, I accept your kindly rebuke." After a beat, she adds, "Though I second the storyteller's concern over your apparent fascination with the buttocks of frogs. Please refrain from any amorous overtures with poisonous creatures. My medical skill has its limits."
Boosey chuckles and says to Nenne, with a sideways glance at Allister, "Don't worry, he's not obsessed by the frogs. 'Tis an old Sword Coast Shanty "Kissing the Mermaids Buttocks", sung in rough port inns. I think he's missing his mermaid friend. Maybe we should go by the coast after all, so he can find one," and he gives the fighter a wink.
Allister raises his arms in a mock gesture of surrender. "Who are you to blame me for having certain needs? ´Tis nothing wrong with wanting to touch someone with broad, enticing..." He grabs the air like the aforementioned hips. "Sorry, I got carried away. By the way, you look very nice and handsome today, Boosey.", and he returns the wink.
