OOC: Stealth is usually applied to the Hide action. You've already already used your action to stow your thieves tools. But, nothing says you can't keep your tools in your off hand while pulling and using your sword with your dominant hand, whilst using your action to hide. As always, final decision lies with the DM, but I'd like clarification on this as well as it will affect Yokai's "less-stealthy-than-Feldinor-but-still-stealthy" actions in the future.
Edit: Forums don't like the action tag for Hide...
OOC: Concur with this post. Hide does use an action. Rogues, however, get a bonus action at level two (2) via Cunning Action. Cunning action allows a bonus action to hide, dash or disengage. What Feldinor describes is perfectly legal at level 2, spending a bonus action to Hide after taking an action to stow. A solid first level strategy, on the other hand, is as described above where the tools are still in the off hand until next round when they can be stowed with a free interaction vice consuming the precious action.
If the Yokai concept (or our shadowy cleric Sorore) plans to regularly use stealth, then a consideration for a two level dip into Rogue may be on the table. The multiclass dexterity requirement is 13, which Yokai satisfies (as does Sorore).
Feldinor quickly wraps and stows his “trickster’s” tools, then rushes into the gloom of the sewer tunnel. The Rogue draws his short sword, and in the same fluid motions weaves his way among Casta’s legs and the stone walls, only pausing to assess and brandish his blade once past the Paladin and standing astride the tunnels’ intersection, somewhat illuminated in the surrounding dimness by the wan light of day from the overhead shaft.
The halfling’s bravado reveals the known enemies to the south…and more. The dark, long-haired form in tattered rags stands between two broad chain mail-armored figures, the one bearing the longbow and a second armed with a mace, as well as a shield painted with the symbol of a crude black hand. Beyond them, at some distance down the narrow tunnel stretching further south, the source of the flickering torchlight stands at the opening to a larger space, deeper within the sewers…another ragged form…
From the flickering gloom into which Feldinor gazes to the south, the dark long-haired form in tattered rags again takes up his arcane words of magic, and the ghostly, skeletal humanoid claw manifests once more, this time before Feldinor as the only target within sight, reaching wide as it rakes at him…

The claws miss, the Rogue easily avoiding their smoking slashes, and the ragged figure pushes his way further south, hoarsely cursing. As he passes the mace and shield-armed form to his south, the thick-set armored shadow settles into a defensive stance, rasping in his mail.
“The Night Blade was weak. Come try that with a Fist of Bane…or run in fear, your call.”
OOC: Good Evening, Adventurers! A bold, risky move by Feldinor, yet he survives, and with more revealed. Thanks to Yokai and Casta for the excellent dialog; Feldinor left his course of action unchanged, after some good discussion, and Murdoch has the initiative!
Too far from the fight to make an impact, Murdoch will dash east down the tunnel. He’ll squeeze past Casta, then turn north and slide behind Feldinor. Hopefully next round he’ll be in position to get a shot off...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Murdoch maneuvers his way deftly past both Casta and Feldinor while rushing down the sewer tunnel, pausing almost astride the “Night Blade” masked killer’s corpse in a prospective firing position to bring his heavy crossbow to bear against the enemy.

The chain mail-armored archer to the south, now the closest to the relentless advance of A Cuspide Corona, immediately perceives the threat of Murdoch’s ranged weapon over and beyond Feldinor’s head, and trains the arrow nocked upon his dark longbow at the Ranger as he releases…

And strikes! The Fist of Bane’s black arrow pierces Murdoch’s studded leather armor at his right hip, narrowly missing Feldinor's head, and lodges in the Ranger with an explosion of pain…
OOC: Good Evening, Adventurers. Not a favorable outcome with that attack, even with the enemy penalized for firing into cover, based upon his threat assessment. As previously with Casta's injury, the rolls represent the attack roll; the location of the strike if the roll is high enough to at least hit armor, a third d20 roll because a result of 16 on the general location chart requires a subsequent roll on the torso chart, and then of course the d8 for damage.
OOC: Of note for future postings, the warning banner came when I edited my post for the inclusion of the third d20 roll on the torso chart, in between the second d20 and the d8. It didn't affect any of the rolls above it, but actually DID CHANGE THE D8 RESULT, which was previously a "5" on the die, which is what I'll be using as the original damage roll for Murdoch. LESSON LEARNED: edit posts, when you must, by adding new dice rolls ONLY AFTER/BELOW the existing entries, in order to avoid the warning banner and a different result on any lower die rolls. Apologies; hope that's useful information!
OOC: Yet another apology to offer, after the above-noted distraction of the warning banner and the dice roller order of precedence issue: I didn't complete the Fist of Bane's move action...
The chain mail-armored archer grunts in satisfaction as the arrow finds its target, but backs rapidly down the sewer tunnel to the south when the Ranger remains standing and threatening. He retreats beyond the other armored Fist of Bane standing in active defense with mace and shield, then seeks for another target...
OOC: Okay, Fimrold actually does have initiative now, with the following tactical graphic to assist...
Fimrold, conserving his last spell slot for a more dire need to come later in the encounter or later in the day, moves diagonally NE, then SE, and finally 15ft E; ending his movement 10ft behind Casta. As he passes Rigor he will cast guidance.
Rigor enters the sewer tunnel a total of 15 feet (counts for 20 passing Fimrold). He draws his dagger again as he moves, and positions himself in the lineup between Casta and Fimrold.
”Looks like a heavy-armored front is needed to push through this tight tunnel. Anyone have another dagger?”

Farthest of the known enemy to the south, the ragged figure holding the guttering torch aloft in one hand speaks unknowable words of arcane magic, his voice hollow as if from a cavernous space. He reaches out with the other hand to Murdoch, the Ranger’s crossbow still a greater threat than the small Halfling barely seen. A distinct phantom claw manifests before Murdoch, raking at him and trailing black, spectral smoke…

This claw misses as well, Murdoch clearly anticipating some foul attack from the spell, and the ghostly claw instead leaves blackened, necrotic gouges of rotting stone in the eastern wall of the tunnel...
OOC: Fortune turns again, it seems, very fortunate indeed! Good Evening, Adventurers - Yokai has the initiative!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Yokai briefly ponders dropping down the sewer, moving in front of Feldinor, and unleashing the hellish fury that can only originate from a warlock—but he knows there is limited room in the sewer, so:
He will respond to Rigor's query with "On it!"
With his crowbar in his hand and his longsword still on the ground, he will move 20' west and draw his dagger from his belt as part of his movement. He will proceed moving 5' south, then 5' east into the tunnel. He will use his action to throw the dagger at Rigor's feet 10' away. I imagine this would require an attack of some sort, so Unable to parse dice roll.
OOC: He can't reach Rigor to hand him the dagger this round in any scenario that I can think of, so he'll attempt to get it to him an alternate way. Rigor can always pick up the dagger as part of his movement on his turn.
Edit: It didn't like my first roll, so here's me trying it again: 8
Yokai enters the sewer tunnel, his thrown dagger slipping deftly past Fimrold to land on the stone right at Rigor's feet.
OOC: Nicely done, Yokai! Only modification would be a -2 to the roll, due to the "cover" from Fimrold's presence, but your result easily succeeds. Sorore has the initiative!
Sorore gives up on the possibility of using her archery, at the present, against the foe. She rushes two squares NE and four squares E with her shortbow in hand.
“Leave me some space below,” Sorore calls down into the darkness. “The Broken God cannot otherwise reach you through me!”
She prepares to leap into the shaft to support her companions.
