Talinian glances at the various members of the group of now five. "Gorm, you and Bones are entitled to a share of the pay on the work being done from this point forward. And, certainly, a full share of the undead contract. Now," he pauses, clearly holding down some irritation. He normally even temper stretched a bit thin by all this talk of money. Everyone needed to eat but... "if that settles the matter, let's be on our way. First stop, Eris, the girl we are locating. Then, on to the undead. Any objections or questions?"
Olivia hearing the others begin to get up, perks her head up and walks out with the rest of the group. (Sorry about not talking much today got a bit busy)
So the 5 of you take your leave and head north to Fadonne (side note my bad, it's more north east).
The first day of the trip goes uneventful.
The second day, about an hour on the road you find a wagon abandoned, 2516
The horse still attached, but torn apart by wolves. There is no sign of anyone being killed by the wolves. In the cart are fish. Other than that the rest of the trip is nice. You arrive at Fadonne and enter the city you arrive late on the evening, and I assume you look around for The Frightened Flask, which is easy to find seeing as it's the first building as you walk into the town gates. Would you like to go to bed or talk with the Inn keeper?
(OOC - I take it that this is our first stop for the girl's contract?)
Bones stops at the abandoned cart to investigate and see if he can identify any human tracks or other items of value (Investigation: 10 & Survival: 16)
(Other than that, I'm happy to follow along with that path you've written.)
Arriving at the Inn, Korba sits down to order a meal and drinks and asks "Have you any entertainment scheduled for the night? It's been a long ride and a good bard does much to ease the soul."
At the cart Gorm too would investigate the cart and area area (Investgation: 10) and end by trying to muscle the cart to the side of the road and dumping the fish to make sure nothing hidden beneath it. “Bit odd wolves killed the horses but left the fish, no?” She says as explanation but finding nothing (I assume as you moved us right on) she shrugs and moves forward...
At the Frightened Flask she fades to the side of the group a bit. Close, ready and observant but letting the original crew take the lead and just playing the part of muscle or back up if needed.
After surveying the wagon scene for a moment, remembering his own recent, painful, encounter with wolves, Talinian moves carefully around the wagon, checking for prints, trying to determine which way the wolves went after the attack.
Survival: 8
As they enter the inn, Talinian hangs back. Tiefling are not universally liked to say the very least. He knows it would be better to allow the others to handle things with the innkeeper, and whomever else they need to speak with, at least until he can see how they are responding. Doing his very best to make it seem like he just arrived with the others but is not necessarily a part of the group, the tiefling finds an empty table and signals for a server. Giving his best smile, without teeth, he orders some wine and whatever's hot.
"Will there be any entertainment tonight?" he asks.
(OOC - forgot to mention looking for herbs and ingredients for potions along our journey. Let me know if you want me to re-roll survival, or roll something else, such as medicine.)
I am sorry I thought I posted nature check and investigation with the two rolls I made.
The cart was on the side of the road, almost as if it had been camped out there a few nights before.
(Smack on head I forgot to re phrase the info about the cart.)
The cart is not with out damage, the containers with fish were torn up as well, you were just able to tell that they were carrying fish because there were a few that the wolves didn't get to, and leftovers.
The cart was on the tree line on the west side of the road, and the wolves look to have come from and gone into the woods.
Any tracks seem to have been destroyed by the wolf attack.
It is rather late in the evening when you arrive to the inn, it is quiet.
The main group take a seat and a huge middle aged half-orc approaches the table, standing nearly 6 and a half feet tall. And nearly as wide, his muscles causing his shirt to fit right. He wears an apron tied around his waist. His skin is closer to green than most hlaf-orcs, and his fangs a little larger and sharper also. But the elution of toughness goes away when he talks, his voice is soft, gentle almost.
"Hi my name is Phobus, welcome to my place." He takes orders and yells "Callile, you got a table." He then answers the question about music. "Monday we had a troop come in, signed a two week contract with them. It was a good deal, but you just missed them, the last of them retired for the night, they will be playing again tomorrow, probably start around lunch."
Talinian after the half-orc calls for Callile a halfling girl comes out from the back, she limps to you, her right leg is in a brace keeping it from moving too much. She is humpbacked with short red hair. She relays the same information to you about the troop.
Sitting at the table with the group, Bones says little, looking around at the people here in the tavern.
"Just a simple meal for me will suffice," Bones orders from Callile. As she walks away, he watches her a moment, then pulls his book out from behind his beard and makes some notes in it.
(Also, did Bones find any ingredients for potions on our journey? I can roll if need be, just let me know what.)
If Bones is at the table with the rest of the group then they are being served by Phobus. And yes make two rolls for me make a nature check, and then just roll a D100.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gorm will sidle up next to Callile a few minutes later, away from the table, while the barmaid is pouring drinks or wiping down a table or such. "The performers," Gorm ask in a conspiratorial tone. "You wouldn't know where they are spending the night, would you? I always did like musicians..."

Two nature checks for Bones: 1817 Then the d100: 93
(Ah, my bad - Bones orders from Phobus)
Bones will make his way over to Callile when she is on her own, or has a quiet moment, "Young one, what happened there?" He points to her leg, "I hate to see you in such discomfort. Perhaps I can help?"
(DM Question - if it's an injury and Bones were to cast cure wounds on it, would that heal her injury? I'm assuming/guessing its a broken leg.)
"it's how I was born, I don't know any other way of a leg." Callile answers. Let me pull the current a little she is deformed and really just lucky and happy to be working. Phobus connects with her because they are both misunderstood.
"My apologies if I've pried to far. I'm glad it causes you no pain. It has definitely not affected you cheery disposition. Here," Bones creates a little crown of flowers with minor illusion and hands it to her, "Nothing more than a simple illusion that will disappear soon enough, but a small token of apology for my questions. If there is anything I can do to help you or your master, Phobus, let me know."
Gorm returns to the rest of the party and share that the bards are staying here. "Couldn't get the room number but this place can't have that many rooms, if you wanted to not wait til they play again tomorrow."
Bones returns to the table after giving the serving girl her flower crown to eat his meal. He nods in understanding of Gorm's comments, but replies quietly, "I don't know about you, but I know if I were retired for the evening, I'd rather not be disturbed."
"So what is your movement from here on with your prior contract?" he asks the original trio. Now that his attention is no longer on the girl and her deformed leg, he is noticing the room full of people again. You can see his thin, but muscular, arms flexing and relaxing as every fibre seems to be on edge. Every now and then you see him close his eyes and take a deep breath. Once his meal comes, he leans in close to it to eat, eyes darting around the room.
Gorm shrugs. "True enough," She replies to Bones. "Then again, nobody suspects you're hiding the wizard's daughter. Well if you all are waiting til tomorrow I'll just get myself a room and retire?"
