Talinian watches his companions easily dispatch the zombies but decides to get in a little practice. Seeing Olivia move on the last one, he tosses a spell at it, though he expects it to be down by the time his spell hits. Waving his hands and nimble fingers just so, he calls out in clear voice words which most hear and forget instantly. A blob of acid hurls to the zombie. He watches to see the effect. If it stays up, he hurls another acid ball at it.
First round: Acid Splash Spell Attack: 24 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. Damage: 5
Second round: Acid Splash Spell Attack: 12 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. Damage: 1
Well the zombies do not need a turn. Seeing as Olivia and Talinian kill the last one. Do you all want to move on from here or not? I would say that it's about 730-800 at night.
"It appears we're getting closer to Ingon. Before we move on, let me quickly check there's nothing else out here."
Bones uses Eyes of the Grave to quickly check if there are any undead out to 60ft (meant to be until the end of my next turn, so DM's discretion how long until it drops. I know the location of any undead as long as they're not behind total cover or protected by divination magic.). He will relay the position, or lack, of any undead within range to the party. Once done, Bones shakes his head, as if clearing a fog from his brain, and says, "I think that will come in handy as we approach, but it is limited."
As a matter of course Gorm will examine the bodies, checking the pockets and such. Your standard looting, though perhaps with a dash of grave robbing thrown in, considering the fallen foes. She doesn't expect to find anything of value on such sorry corpses but one never knows. There was that one time, a year or so back, when the minor league necromancer who owed the Crimson Guild for long overdue rat fight debts (the dwarf just could not pick a winner for his life) claimed poverty and allowed the debt collectors free reign to search his dwelling. It wasn't til Gorm notices his zombie servant clanked when he moved about that they discovered he was being used as a piggy bank and had a belly full of gold and platinum....
But other than reminiscing and checking the re-dead bodies for loot, Gorm is more than happy to continue on...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After Gorm has finished searching the bodies and leaves them, Bones heads over to make some notes on the condition of the bodies. (Also, did any of these zombies drop a serviceable shield? If so, Bones will grab it. Investigation check if you need it: 18).
"I'm happy to push forward, but if others wish to rest, that is also fine," he replies to Talinian's suggestion.
Olivia finishes cleaning her rapier, speaking quietly. "I think we should attempt to push forward. We may be able to push ourselves and finish this before this necromancer can know what hit him."
As the zombie in front of him drops, Korba wills his glaive to disappear again, leaving only a dusting of sand on the corpse in front of him. Seeing the group ready to move on, he walks over to his horse and says "I agree, we should not dawdle. Though it is getting late. How far is it to this necromancer's camp?"
Korba listens to what Gorm found, and also shows quite a bit of interest in finding this blacksmith that forged a magical glaive. He's staying quiet now following the group and ready to assist when needed.
Apparently Gorm shared what she found out (I don't recall doing so but *shrug*) Did the rest share what they found out? If not, Gorm just continues on with the group....
As the zombie in front of him drops, Korba wills his glaive to disappear again, leaving only a dusting of sand on the corpse in front of him.
Seeing Korma's trick with his glaive ignites a memory in Gorm's head. "Did you say that the Dragonborn... Was Sorth their name? Didn't you say they said something about Ingon's glaive not always being by his side... But always being there when he needed it?" Gorm asks aloud, to the party in general.

ooc: This assumes it is now dark in the forest, now that it is approaching 9 pm under the trees. If that is incorrect, please let me know.
"I do not believe we know, Korba. It is not dawdling to proceed wisely, which moving at night will not be, in my opinion. If we proceed tonight, then we will have to use a light such as a torch or lantern or magical light. That makes us a target and also makes us easy to avoid. Not all of us have Darkvision." He does not look at Olivia as he says this. "Additionally, it is harder to track at night and I am not a particularly proficient tracker at the best of times. Are any of you? If not, we will essentially be walking in a particular direction and hoping we walk into our quarry...assuming he does not see our light and simply avoid us. All we were told is that the attacks came from the northeast. I do not recall any additional information. Aside from possibly saving time I can discern no benefit to moving forward at night and there is the very real possibility that will we lose time by completely missing our quarry, or obvious signs of our quarry, and having to backtrack."
If you all decided on moving forward I would say you would start moving by 830. But yes light sources are getting low.
I don't remember if we said that Grom shared, or just assumed that you did to explain why you were going to the blacksmiths, and setting the rendezvous. That being said they did say they were sharing with you about what all they learned.
And you guys have been tracking undead tracks, and bodies.
Olivia turns to Grom, looking rather puzzled, "How would you share sight with me exactly? Do you do this magic crap too? God I thought there was finally another person who did things normally."
"It's not the only concern...I raised several related to the time of night. Why are you all in such a hurry? Will you truly spend some of your precious magic, Gorm, just so we can rush on? I just do not understand. I will follow the group's decision but proceeding is foolish. Let me know what you all decide." Talinian moves over to his horse, awaiting the decision.
Talinian periodically checks through the eyes of his owl. As soon as he determines the letters were delivered, he dismisses the Baltor and re-summons him to his current location.
"I too am interested in how you do this, Gorm," Bones says when he hears of sharing darkvision (Is it Grom or Gorm? I had thought it Gorm, but am now confused :P).
"Well, if we do camp, then I can send out my familiar to do a little scouting. He's not the fastest, but most definitely good at sneaking about and staying out of sight." A small spider creeps out of his beard, then disappears again. "Alternatively, we can continue on and one of us can simply guide Olivia? I'm happy to offer my service as guide. Though, might I offer one insight? My experience with necromancers, though limited as it is," Bones shuffles awkwardly for a moment, "Is that they generally are more active at night. Simply, society frowns upon their activities, so the darkness offers some anonymity. This might mean more undead raised overnight, and so more to deal with in the morn."
