Kierro nods at Honor’s suggestion; it seems like a safer idea than simply letting them go. He looks to the others (assuming insight 15 check from earlier ringed as truth, otherwise he won’t do this.)
”Maybe we should give them some for food and supplies back at town - that way they won’t have to steal any and they can start fresh.”
Tessa says, "The shop across the way may have raspberries, you say?! Very well. Good day to you madam!" Tessa heads to the other merchant shop with a whistle. She still has a desire for sweets, in particular raspberries or some type of raspberry flavored treat. She is certain once she has satisfied this craving that her world will make normal sense again.
You cross the road and enter a general store. There is an elderly man standing behind a counter, with two athletic-looking young men currently looking to be restocking shelves. "Welcome." The elderly man says as Tessa enters. "What can I help you with this fine day?" As Tessa starts to move inside, the shop keeper from across the road comes in as well and moves into the shelves, appearing to be looking for something herself.
Insight on the Hobgoblin's directions and claim that they're leaving: 15
"...I see. Your three friends will be able to come with you when you leave, though you must tell them that they were spared on the condition that they not attack any more travellers. Please do not abuse this second chance."
Hee seems to be telling the truth. It seems, to you, that he is too-scared to lie to you.
Latrius turns around and stares blankly at Kierro.
"Give them our . . .fresh start? There’s a difference between mercy and naivety, lad, and it’s that one is even more foolish than the other. These are hobgoblins. They steal, murder and pillage. It’s what they do, and they’re damned good at it."

Mylene frowns at the elf woman, but takes her words at face value. “You have no ability to divine whether I have been enchanted, then? No rumors of similarly afflicted people have reached you? If heading for a larger city is my only recourse then so be it. I’m not over fond of rustic locales like this one. You’re certain there is nothing else you can do, here and now, regarding my memory?”
"Well there was a young man who came in a while ago." The elf female says with a thoughtful look, plus another who seemed to appear here out of the blue." She looks you over. "Both seemed to be without their memories, but I had not put them down as related until you asked." She nods her head then. "Mayhaps you all three are affected by the same thing, but I sent the one off to find out about a question I have, so he should be heading West out of town by now, off to Conyberry. The other I think was going to the town hall, but that was a good while ago, so not sure where he might be by now." She gives you descriptions of both of those individuals, Latrious and Kierro.
So, from what I understand, you are going to turn back to the town now, and take the four hobgoblin prisoners back to town? You are about 2 hours out of town now, it is around early afternoon, so let's say 1 P.M.
The hobgoblin would give you directions to a place they say the goblins have set up an ambush, and that, if you follow a path from there, you would get to the place the goblins are using as their hideout. The hobgoblin tells you the site is at least another 4 hours of travel from your current location. So it is 6 hours from town.
"I guess we can kill two birds with one stone," Naivara says, "we can go back and tell of what we found, and I can pay back Barthan's for his generosity."

“I understand. We’ll bring them back to town, and maybe inform your benefactor of our findings.”
You escort your prisoners back towards town. It is a two hour hike back, with the hobgoblins moving along without any protest. The three that were knocked out cast resentful glances at the one who made the agreement with you, but all agree they have but one option, to leave the area. None of them seem too upset by that though. Where do you take the hobgoblins once you reach town? Guessing Town Hall, as it does have a prison, but let me know if you are doing something different.
Do you plan on heading back out, and camping overnight, or do you plan on getting a room at the inn in town, then leaving in the morning?
(I will need to get the other four moving along, as they would all have had the chance to do quite a bit in the 4+ hours you were gone from town.)
"Hey now, let's not go painting a whole race with the same brush, knife-ears," Honor says calmly, though her tail is waving back and forth in harsh strokes. "But these particular hobgoblins definitely are thieves, and at the very least attempted murderers. We'll take them back to town, put them under guard, and if there's someone who wants to reform them, so much the better. If not, manual labor will give them a long time to think about it. If we leave now, we can get these four squared away, and might be able to set up a night ambush for the remaining goblins."
(ETA: Whoops, let's say this happened before Denn's post. I was thinking send the hobgoblins to the prison, and also checking in with or sending a message to Linene to update her. If people agreed with Honor's plan, then head back out again.)
"Not an entire race—that’s what you don’t understand. It’s their culture, their upbringing. When you hunt something for long enough, you get to know it quite well. Hobgoblins are raised to murder, to rob. The only chance one would have at being better would be to be raised in a completely different culture. From a young age."
He pauses, and his voice takes on a different, harsher tone.
"And if you call me knife-ears again, devil child . . ."
(Latrius would prefer to head out as soon as possible, but he’d check in with the acolyte and the storekeeper first. Bringing them to Town Hall seems fine.)

Tessa smiles at the shopkeeper and his aids. She says, “Tell me good sir, do you have any raspberries or sweets of any kind?"
"a fresh batch of raspberries in just this morning." The elderly shopkeep says with a friendly smile. He waves for you to follow and leads the way back to a shelf with produce on it. There are indeed raspberries there, next to blueberries, strawberries, and vegetables. "One copper for a bunch." He says as he smiles down at you.

Mylene Durza
Mylene crosses her arms over her chest, containing any outward signs of her annoyance as she needs further information from the elf priestess. “I would say that three people in the same day reporting symptoms of memory loss certainly establishes an unusual pattern, wouldn’t you? Unless that’s a common occurrence in this region?”
She takes mental note of the descriptions provided of the other two, Kierro and Latrius, then says, “I suppose I’ll try to track down the closest one, perhaps the one hasn’t left the town hall yet.” After getting an answer from the cleric of luck on whether multiple people reporting memory loss seems odd to her, Mylene gathers Walter and heads to the town hall to look for the other amnesiac.
As you check in with the Acolyte in the shrine again, she lets you know she has spoken to two other individuals that seem to have lost their memories. She describes one to you and you realize it is Kierro, and the second she describes as a very attractive woman, who is traveling with a man the Acolyte calls Walter.
As you repay your dept to the general store owner, he beams at you with pride, clearly having expected no less. He doesn't have any news to impart as you head out again though.
At the town hall you are able to pass the hobgoblins off to the guards there, who seem more than a bit overwhelmed by the prisoners. They take them in hand though and soon have them off in the cells down gthe stairs from the main area. Naivara would recognize this as where they took the figure who had her quiver before. The guards agree to hold them until you return from your check of the goblin hideout.
When you head to the Lionshield Coster, the shop keep there is a bit surprised to see you, asking if you had found what she needed already. Upon learning what you know, from the hobgoblins, she is glad to hear that you are making progress, and asks if you would be willing to check out the hideout, as she would like actual validation of the hobgoblins words to call your debt to her completed.
Tessa laughs clapping her hands and jumping in joy. “I'll take every last raspberry you have, a means to carry them, and a dagger if you have it." Tessa smiles at the shopkeeper her happiness evident on her face.
