As you touch the bag you remember Vilana. You know her as a powerful sorcerer who has an infinity for shadows and darkness. Your relationship with her is quite unilaterally distant though. She has tended to side against you more often than not, but seems to take the middle-of-the-road as far as her own viewpoints go.
(If Vilana and Milene want to hash out their specific relationship together that is fine, I am trying to just put down broad strokes.)
(Would Latrius feel drawn towards where he knows Mylene went? Or is it too hard to tell at this point?)
You feel you are getting quite close. You don't have any real way to know if that is due to some other factor than your traveling towards it though, as you have never had to travel to find the item prior to this. All you know right now is that it is still East, though not as far away now as when you left Phandalin.
Latrius senses a quickening of the pull, and speeds up.
(Moving at face pace, no stealth any more.)
To anyone who questions his sudden burst of speed:
"I feel the pull getting closer, and I think it quite possible that Mylene already has whatever is pulling me within her grasp. I might be able to catch up to her if they stop for a rest soon."

She blinks and recovers her composure after touching the bag, then speaks to Leto. “This is was another one of mine, most certainly. I saw that Vilana woman. We weren’t exactly friends it seems. Interesting.”
“As to your question, my intention is to find answers, and avenge what was done to us, as I said. The more we can learn the closer we get to that goal. If possible I would like to, firstly, confirm how many of the memory-erased there are in total, return the proper items - and in the process, their proper memories - to each of them, and in doing so learn what they learn, and get a better understanding of this curse in the process. Once we all have all of our memories restored we should be closer to having our answers and recovering what was taken from us.”
”Absent their memories, too many of the others have became child-like and foolish, unwilling to act on their own rational interest. A piece of them was taken - their personal histories. Ideally they will simply accept that the best means to set this right is to follow my orders and seek the truth, together. If some prefer idiotic obstinance then we may have to find some way to manipulate those, find some other way to force them to reunite with the objects and the memories within them. Pretending this crime, this theft of our personal histories and memories, is a ‘fresh start’ simply isn’t an option. We will reclaim what was taken from us - whether they want to or not. Hopefully the majority of the others will agree to follow orders and cooperative to see that happen.”
(Considering Vilana's background, for her to side against Mylene would mean, that Mylene was associated with a lot of "wanted" individuals - either as their benefactor, or a bounty hunter. But in either case, no hatred from Vilana's side, her motto is "nothing personal")
Vilana - if she heard Latrius - would want to remind that catching tiger by the tail (going alone head on against, most likely, many armed thugs) might not be the best idea. She would even begin saying it. But Latrius did not leave an impression of someone acting on a whim, so, she would shut up and simply keep pace with others.
Leto, starting to understand her, and trying to figure out his, end goal, looks to Mylene as she explains this and asks simply "If they, like you were, are being pulled to these items."Holding out his hands showing the gear he is wearing "Would you simply like to sit back and wait for them to come and collect?"
"I don't plan on negotiating at sword point, just asking politely. It may fit into her goal of finding out what happened to herself at way, she seemed eager enough to poll us before."

As Milene is speaking Leto and her hear the sound of people coming down the road, making a good deal of noise, the clanking of armor and whatnot. The three bugbears, and all of the red cloaks are glancing back, hands on weapons. Soon the group of the others come jogging into view.
Others, you come up on the sight of the four horses, and a donkey, with 8 men in red cloaks and 3 bugbears. Milene and Walter are also there, as well as a strange Tiefling none of you have seen before. The Tiefling seems to have your belongings on him, as you each spot something he has that you feel belongs to you. This is with the exception of Kierro, whose belonging seems to be in a small pouch Milene is holding.
Vilana, you see a wand the strange Tiefling has in his belt that you feel pulled to.
Tessa, there is something in the Tiefling's pocket that calls to you.
Naivara, the Tiefling is wearing bracers that pull at you.
Honor, the longsword at the Tiefling's side is clearly yours and pulls at you.
Latrious, the boots the Tiefling is wearing is what has been pulling at you.
Sylcan, the shortbow the Tiefling has with him pulls you.
Kierro, what pulls you is inside the bag Milene holds.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tessa
Tessa slows down as the group catches up with the others and sees the welcoming committee complete with large bugbears. Tessa uses the arrival of the others and slips behind Kierro using his larger form to conceal her approach and then slip into the brush.

Latrius:
Latrius slows down, his eyes narrowing and his gaze falling on the tiefling.
"Found another one of your so-called former servants, Mylene? Tried to convince him to wash your laundry for you yet?"
He nods to the tiefling.
"I'm Latrius. Might I be correct in assuming you're another one of the, ah, Erased?"
He then turns his attention to the men, assuming he recognizes them as the party that just almost ran them down.
"My apologies for my companion. She . . .doesn't take well to, well, most things. I hope there are no ill feelings as a result on either side"
(The last is followed by a pointed glance in Tessa's direction)
