Stepping out from behind the stalagmite and moving further into the room you immediately notice a rather large and hairy bugbear sitting on the north side of the fire, which you now notice is more smoldering coals than a roaring fire. On the Bugbears left is a wolf that looks similar to the ones you saw earlier sporting a similar collar and chain contraption around its neck. The wolf raises its head off the cave floor as you make your approach to the fire, the movement catching your attention you notice the end of the chain is in one of the Bugbears hands.
Making your menacing presence known and calling for the goblins to lay down their weapons and surrender they do so without any hesitation and take a few steps away from you. They look genuinely terrified. The Bugbear however is not so easily intimidated. He looks you over and with a bit of amusement asks you “Why you come to Klarg’s cave? Only things that come here alive are being dragged here kicking and screaming most times. Other times they not move at all and we eats them later.” As he says this, he stands up placing his right hand on his morningstar while keeping a hold of the wolf’s chain with his other hand. The wolf seeing the Bugbear get off the cave floor get to its feet as well and starts giving a low growl as it notices the Bugbears hand move towards its weapon “Klarg is curious why one of Orc kind is here. Speak quickly or I’ll let Ripper have a fresh meal.” He rattles the chain in his hand as he says the last part and looks at you rather intently waiting for your reply. The wolf makes a few snaps in your direction at the word meal, but does not move closer towards you otherwise.
The rest of the party makes their way out the kennel and back into the main tunnel and start making their way up the steep path on the eastern side of the passage. The stream flowing lazily next to them for the first 15 feet or so up the passage. Reaching the top of a set of steps as you round a bend in the passage, everyone notices a rickety wooden bridge about 25-30 of the passage you find yourselves in currently. On the other side of the stream you notice another passage choked with rubble for what appears to be a good ten feet with a ledge within easy reach of the rubble.
I need everyone to make a perception roll with a Dc of 21 (except Velda of course)
If your roll is higher, I’ll pm you what you notice so you can RP accordingly, IF your passive perception is higher than my roll I’ll pm what you notice.
