Tisto puts his arm around Spyro's shoulders and says "yes and no! Tell me is your ship for hire? If so we need to find some drowned city believed to be somewhere the Thyrmokles’ Eddies. Now I hate the water but as they say in the great tomes nothing ventured nothing gained. Do you think you could take us to this Eddies place and what will it cost?"
"Calisto has the other mask now, but we will face her again soon or later. For now our task is to gather the fragments of the Elpis Mask." replies Areus to Saya. "The other satyr? He is a friend of Tisto, they put us in contact with Callaphe that acted as our guide. I guess we can trust him, but it is better to keep our eyes open, just in case."
"Since it seems that we will not have time to repair my damaged spear, I would like to purchase a new one. Saya, do you know where I could get one?" says the hoplite to the centaur. Areus then says to the rest of the group "We will be on the road for a while, I think that we should get some supplies. Maybe Spyro can help us with that."

Spyro grinned. "Thyrmokles’ Eddies? I know no Iiving captain who would willingly sail Thyrmokles’ Eddies. Why could you possibly want to go there? Fortunately for you our captain is, well, not exactly, er alive, as they say. Meet me here at the docks tomorrow afternoon. Get rested tonight, get your supplies. I am sure the captain will take you."
Before you get the chance to ask questions Spyro trots off into the dark.
You can long rest and take the opportunity to spend your money getting supplies, and equipment.
After a night of rest, Areus joins Saya as she returns to the barrack for replacing his broken spear with a new one and to purchase some supplies for the next part of their travel.
He will then walk to the docks and wait for the other members of the group.
The following day you meet Spyro at the docks. Sailors’ and dockers’ calls echo across the harbor. Hammering from the dockyards and screaming seagulls accompany the many voices. Workers carrying sturdy crates and thick sacks whirl between the ships and warehouses, while burly merchants argue about the prices. A stiff breeze carries in salty air from the sea. It accumulates as a thin, white sheet on the houses and people.
Spyro leads you down the docks. You approach his ship, the Paralos Aside from the drab, black sails, the ship doesn’t differ much from the rest anchored in the harbor. Several clawed bronze shields reinforce the hull, which is made from planks of varying colors. Leaning against the rail, a leather clothed and masked figure lets its hidden eyes wander across the harbor. Its golden mask glimmers in the light.
You recognize the mask at once at what it means. The captain, Argon, is a returned.
The returned, also known as the Noston, are undead creatures that escaped the Underworld. To reach the world of the living, they must leave their identity and memories behind. The returned wear golden masks to replace the masks they wore for their funeral, which also hide their non-existent faces
Soren goes with Areus, exchanging his sword for an undamaged specimen. As he spies the figure, he turn s to their guide “Spyro! You couldn’t have told us beforehand?”

At the sight of a returned, Saya tried to remain calm, and not let others know of her discomfort. Perhaps it is a sign from the gods that she has to work with such creature to accomplish her mission. If that is the case, she will try to make the best of the situation.

Spotting the Returned (what does Tisto recall about them - History(?) = 23) Tisto turns to Spiro and gives him a slow clap "an extremely clever use of words my friend. As you know I'm not one to judge a book by its cover or a face by its mask so I say lets set sail forthwith!"
"If he is willing to take us to the Thyrmokles's Eddies, for me it is enough." says Areus looking at his companions and then fixing his gaze on golden mask.
The hoplite walks next Saya and says to her "A man wearing a mask is leading us in our quest for searching for another mask. You may understand this better than me, but it seems to me that this it is indeed a sign from the Gods, or at least from some of them."
Soren gives a grim smile. "If that's the case, the gods have a perverted sense of humour. I guess nothing ever changes." He starts to walk towards the man in the mask.
He nods his head at the captain "We need a ship."

“I will take responsibility for what I have done. [...] If must fall, I will rise each time a better man.” ― Brandon Sanderson, Oathbringer.
When sentient, mortal beings die on Theros, they pass into its Underworld. They dwell in this eternally gray realm without sun or night under the watch of Erebos, god of the Underworld. But over the centuries, many denizens of the Underworld have escaped and returned to the sunlit realm of the living. They are called the Noston (from nostos, "to return home"), or the Returned.
To leave the Underworld, beings must give up their identity and their very faces, each of which becomes an unsettling surface with eyeholes and a mouth. This doesn't mean that the Returned have no personality and no memory of anything, however. One's name and past are forgotten, but skills and personality are retained. That is, the events and relationships of the mortal's life are lost, but the results of those events are intact (such as speech or the ability to play music). In addition, the Returned lose the ability to form the long-term memories on which relationships are based—they are unable to "build a new life," as it were.
Sentient, sapient zombies. The Returned are undead in the most actual sense. When they return to the living realm, they don't return to life. They need water and air but not food. The Returned form communities, experience fleeting emotions, and follow daily routines, but their existence is a shadow play, because without an identity or an ability to nurture long-term relationships, the elements of their "lives" have no weight or substance.
They aren't just thinking, speaking zombies but also feeling ones. Although their lack of identity prevents long-term memory formation, they do feel emotions based on their experiences. That in turn means that their emotions tend toward darkness: frustration, bitterness, loneliness, resentment, anger, and melancholy.
When a human dies on Theros, a funerary mask of dark clay is customary, used to "frame" the identity of the deceased for Athreos. So when a mortal destroys his or her identity to leave the Underworld, that mortal must fashion a mask to stand in for it. Gold is the most common material in Erebos's realm, so it has become customary for the Returned to symbolically replace their funerary masks (and by proxy their identities) with beautifully crafted gold masks that cover their changed faces and function as surrogate, albeit flimsy, identities.
Spyro gives a little bow at Tisto's clapping. "Come, let's get aboard. Argon wishes to set sail this day." As they approach the man Spyro gives him a nod as you pass by. "These will travel with us." he says in passing.
"Agreed" is all Argo says who turns and follows you up the gang plank.

You raise anchor and set sail, making your way south along the coast. You find that the two brothers that were with Spyro have left the crew, uninterested in sailing the Eddies. Argo is a very taciturn man and is rarely seen on deck. Spyro runs the ship as first mate. You pass the harbor of Phaela and set out into open sea. Spyro informs yout that you are headed south towards the Dakra Isles.
A couple of days later the sea is calm and the sky blue, as the sound of roars reverberates through the ship’s hull. Tentacles wrap over the rail.
