The bolt of energy slams into Mathilda and she screams as she clutches her head. She then slumps over and dies.
On the mural the hero is also seen slaying the last hag. He then gives a quick salute and heads for the far wall and the painted door. As he reaches it he opens the painted door and a real door in the wall is revealed and opens.
"Good job everyone." says Areus to the group as Tisto's arcane bolt finishes the hag. "Shall we search the hags? They may have something useful." As the hero opens the painted door and an actual door opens in the wall Areus says "We may want to leave the search for later, it looks like the hero already moved to the next room. The Oracle's spell has a time limit so we should hurry after him." The Akroan waits for the rest of the group to reply and if they agree to move on towards the next room he looks at Tisto and says "Try to be more careful next time Tisto, I understand that you like wine, but those hags almost killed you."
As the party gets ready to move on Tisto pulls a flask from his belt and takes a deep swallow "aaahh magic stuff that - I feel better already! Anybody else want a sip?" he says proffering the flask. If anybody else wants a sip they get 2 HP restored and Tisto gets 3 HP restored. If nobody takes him up on his offer Tisto gets the full HP.
”I am good, thank you.” Replies Saya to Tisto. (Is Tisto still riding Saya?) “We should proceed with haste. Does anyone needs healing?” She asks the party as she proceeds to the newly opened door.

Looking in the next room you see that an altar stands on the far wall, with a fuming censer resting upon it. On the wall above the altar hang dozens of clay masks in various forms and sizes. A mural on the wall shows the same room, altar, masks, and investigating hero.

"I am good, Saya, thank you." says Areus as he swims next to the centaur. "A room full of masks....maybe the fragment is here somewhere. We should, I think, look for a broken or a not full mask since we are after a fragment. This room may hold another trial or hide some other creatures so do not let your guard down." The Akronan swims next to the hero and says "my light in the darkness" to invoke the power of the fragment in his possession in order to light the area around the hero. As he swims he tries to give a quick look at the masks (Perception16 )
As you inspect the masks you see that they are the clay masks that are traditionally worn by the dead as a burial gift. If you also inspect the altar you see that it doesn't appear that the top is fastened down and you could possibly move it.

Having possibly - just possibly - learnt his lesson from the earlier event Tisto focusses on the mural on the wall showing the same room, altar, masks, and investigating hero. In particular what the hero is doing as Areus and Callaphe are examining the masks (Perception = 20)
Tisto sees that the Hero has also found the masks. Tisto also recalls that they had previously spoken to the hero and directed him to take certain actions against the hags in the village and reminding him to take his armor.

As Soren tries to push the top off the alter, Tisto calls out to the hero "oi see if you can move the alter will you? Thanks!"
Saya wonders out loud if the Hero would be able to put on the mask himself...
