Yevele responds to Throgram "That is a good idea. I was thinking they shouldn't be alone either." The monk will then head down the stairs to where Smoke is. If there is no light source down here, Yevele will pull a torch out and light it.
Rogram furrows his brow at the unconscious raider. He double checks the man's bonds to make sure they are secure and then fashions a gag to also keep him quiet in case he wakes while they are away. Once he feels the man is secure and silenced, he'll follow the others.
Thia slides along behind Yevele and Smoke, eyes and ears everywhere. Her crossbow is loaded and pointed at the ground as she doesn’t trust her trembling hands not to fire a bolt off into the back of her companions right now.

Halfway down the broad steps, Smoke hears a click from beneath him, followed by a loud grinding of stone. The steps collapse in on themselves, leaving a smooth ramp in their place. Yevele, with one foot on the steps behind the tabaxi, is able to maintain her footing on the platform above, but Smoke is deposited gently at the base of some large fungi on the right side of the room.
Four of the larger fungi begin to writhe at the intrusion. Purplish and bulbous, each of the creatures reveal four long tentacle-like stalks and begin to bear down on Smoke.
OOC: Forum is having some issues today and re-rolling every die roll. Players won the initiatives with an 18.25 average over the fungi's 8.25.
Round 1 Order: Players <===== Violet Fungi
Placement: Smoke is at the base of the ramp. Rogram, Smoke, and Thia are at the top of the ramp, 10 feet away.
After hearing the click Smoke looks down to see the steps turning into a ramp trying to see if there is anything to hold onto. As he starts to slide down he turns his focus to staying upright and grips his rapier firmly.
Once he comes to a stop he slowly steadies himself and looks to check around to see if anyone noticed him. Only to see these fungi in front of him, his eyes widen as he sees the twirling tentacles at the fungi's side. He glances back quickly to see if the others are near then looks back to the treat in front.
He quickly slashes his rapier towards one of the tentacles to try and cut down this thing.
Movement: None other then the slide (think im engaged with the fungi already) Action: Rapier Attack: 16 Damage: 6 (Bardic inspiration should still be on Yevele from previous battle unless its been 10mins since then)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rogram catches up to Yevele and Thia just as Smoke goes sliding down. When he sees the fungi come to life, the half-dwarf draws a javelin and throws it at the nearest threat.
If Yevele can move down the ramp, she will do so. Once down the ramp, she will attack the nearest fungi with a two handed swing from her sword: Attack: 25 Damage: 11, followed by a kick for her bonus action: Attack: 9 Damage: 4
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: No worries, I'll re-roll the attack. The bardic inspiration from the previous battle is indeed still in effect, to be used this turn. The ramp is able to be traversed (difficult terrain if moving upward).

Smoke stabs forward with his rapier, causing a puff of spores to cascade from the nearest fungus. Its tentacles flail, but Yevele interrupts its attack, nimbly sliding down the newly formed ramp and tearing the creature in two with her sword. The next in line absorbs a painful kick from the monk, and slumps to the ground when Thia strikes it with a crossbow bolt. Rogram's javelin misses the fungi, landing in the rest of the cavern foliage.
The third fungus in line shuffles slowly forward. Two of its tentacles slap Smoke and Yevele from ten feet away, leaving a strange weak feeling on the skin and darkened marks where they made contact. The last fungus shuffles ten feet forward (dash) but its tentacles remain out of range.
Round 2 Order: Players <===== Violet Fungi
Placement: Smoke and Yevele are engaged in melee combat with one violet fungus at the base of the ramp. Rogram and Thia are at the top of the ramp, 10 feet away from Smoke and Yevele. Another violet fungus is 15 feet away from Smoke and Yevele
Health: Smoke is lightly wounded. Yevele is lightly wounded.
Ammunition: Rogram has used 1 javelin. Thia has used 1 bolt.
Yevele will attack fungi 3 with her sword: Attack: 18 Damage: 5. But, not wanting to get hit by the tentacles again, the monk will take patient defense on her bonus action (using a ki point).

Getting hit by the long reach of the tentacle Smoke staggers a bit and tries to keep his footing. When trying to move he starts to feel the sting of the impact as its effect marks his skin. Its to dark to see but Smoke hesitates a moment like a sore spot restricts his movement.
Seeing Yevele charge forward again Smoke snaps out of it and follows her lead. Unsure how far the tentacles reach he hopes to strike first.
He tries to time the swing of his rapier slicing towards the nearest Fungi. But in the dark its difficult to see where one thing ends and the next one begins.
Movement: Rush to melee range of the nearest Fungi Action: Attack: 9 Damage: 6
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing Yevele easily descend the ramp, Rogram follows, rushing head-long into the fray. He draws his longsword and swings it with his left hand at the nearest attacking fungus.

Yevele slices deep into the slow-moving fungus before her. Smoke prevents the creature's retaliation, swiftly stabbing into its torso and tearing spores loose. Thia looses a bolt past the falling creature and into the center of the last moving fungus. Rogram moves into the opening, taking a slap along the side from a tentacle and responding by cutting another from its host.
Round 3 Order: Players <===== Violet Fungus
Placement: Rogram is engaged in melee combat with the violet fungus at the base of the ramp. Thia is at the top of the ramp. Rogram, Smoke, and Yevele are at the bottom.
Health: Rogram is lightly wounded. Smoke is lightly wounded. Yevele is lightly wounded.
Ammunition: Rogram has used 1 javelin. Thia has used 2 bolts.
DM, do you know why Rogram's scale mail has been unselected? Did I say at some point that he took it off? I don't remember that, but I suppose it's possible.
Rogram swings again, attempting to remove the last threat.
OOC: I don't remember that either, but maybe it happened at some point while you were infiltrating the camp the first time? Either way, he'd have his armor on right now so I'll go adjust that when I update. That attack shouldn't have hit him.
