Rogram turns his head at the man's shout and narrows his eyes at him. Moving toward him and holding his sword with just his off hand, the half-dwarf draws a javelin with his main hand and throws it at the heavily armored raider once he's in range.
Movement: 25+10 toward heavily armored raider
Action: javelin throw at 30 or less feet away: Attack: 19 Damage: 9 piercing
OOC: I'm choosing to not roll my bardic inspiration. If this misses, I'm going to be so upset with myself!
Thia nods her sincere appreciation to Smoke for felling the bandit who had engaged her. Rather than pulling her blade from its scabbard she instead loads another quarrel into her light crossbow and aims at another of the lighter armoured raiders.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: Well that ended up being more than a couple hours, sorry about that.
The enemy that Smoke kills this round is actually the last of the lightly armored raiders. The heavily armored raider and the two robed raiders that are sleeping are all that are left. I'll direct Thia's attack toward the heavier armored enemy, since a ranged attack against the prone robed raiders would be at disadvantage.
DM Screen:
45/58
Heavy Crossbow vs. Rogram: 23
Frustrated with his poor aim, the man in splint armor allows his crossbow to fall after another missed shot. He draws one of the swords at his hip as he continues forward. He crosses his gauntlets to shield his face, charging through Rogram's javelin and Thia's next shot. His armor takes the impact of both, barely slowing him as he closes in on Rogram. Yevele is quickly on the scene, but her staff is parried by the alert attacker.
Round 6 Order: Players <===== Enemies
Placement: Rogram and Yevele are engaged in melee combat with the remaining raider, 45 feet away from Smoke and Thia, who are in total cover. The two robed enemies are asleep, 70 feet away from Yevele and Rogram, and 20 feet away from Smoke and Thia.
Health: The remaining raider is lightly wounded.
Yevele is wounded. Rogram is lightly wounded. Smoke is lightly wounded.
Ugh! A 19 didn't hit! OK, this one's gonna be tough.
Grinning a little maniacally, Rogram adjusts his two-handed grip on his sword and turns on the spot, using the momentum of the spin to hopefully add more power to his horizontal attack.
OOC: A 19 did hit! Sorry for the confusion, I could have narrated that more clearly. I'm going to find a way to notate hits more clearly outside of the narration.
Quickly following Thai's bolt Smoke runs towards the raider with big leaps. He will run a little around the raider to try to flank him as Yevele and Rogram are engaged with him.
With his rapier he tries to find a spot to pierce in between the raiders armor. Give up now your outnumbered!
Movement: 60ft circling the raider (using feline agility that reset at this post Action: Rapier vs raider Attack: 20 Damage: 10
Inspiration: - Smoke has placed inspiration on Rogram and Thia at this moment (both unused yet) - Smoke received inspiration from Rogram (unused yet)
Yevele will attack with her quarterstaff Attack: 20 Damage: 11
followed by an elbow to the head Attack: 13 Damage: 5
(although, hopefully Rogram and Smoke finished him off). If the armored raider is dead after this round, the monk will head over toward the two sleeping raiders.
Longsword vs. Smoke: 15 Shortsword vs. Yevele: 8 Longsword vs. Smoke: 17Damage: 7
"You don't know who you're dealing with," the armored man smirks, drawing a second, smaller sword as Thia launches a bolt well off target. His eyes widen, however, at Smoke's unexpected speed. As the tabaxi rounds the man, Rogram slams his sword into the man's side, denting the armor in. Smoke pierces his rapier into the opposite side, the enemy's splint the only thing preventing a fatal wound. Gasping in pain, he roars in frustration when Yevele's staff is quicker than his blade, smacking his head to the side. He ducks the monk's elbow, thrusting his longsword toward Smoke and spinning to catch Yevele with his shortsword; both blades miss, but as he completes the spin he leaps toward Smoke with the next swing, reaching inside the tabaxi's defenses and slicing into his chest.
Breath coming in heavy and belabored, the man glances past the party at his sleeping companions. "Any last words?" he growls. "None of you are making it out of here alive."

Thia laughs at the man's threats. "You think you scare us?" she asks. "Your threats have all the weight of an anorexic hobbit." She puts the power of her magic behind her vicious mockery of the raider.

ArrghSmoke screams out in pain as the raider stabs him. Caught offguard by the raiders swordskills he holds one hand on his wound as blood gushes out.
Smoke falls to one knee gasping for air. Knowing the fight is not over he grips his rapier firmly and thrusts it forward with all his might trying a last attempt to take down the raider.
Yevele take him down quickly! he calls out in desperation

Inspiration: - Smoke has placed inspiration on Rogram,Thia and Yevele at this moment (all unused yet!) - Smoke received inspiration from Rogram (unused yet)
"We'll see about that," Rogram responds, swinging his sword again.
Attack: 8 Damage: 13
OOC: Even a +6 would only get me up to 14, and it's likely his AC is that or a little higher. I'm going to hold off on rolling the inspiration die. Hopefully the other attacks will be enough.
If the raider has already been taken down before Rogram attacks, he will recover his javelin.
"Don't kill them out of hand," Thia suggests to Yevele. "These guys are more organized than the ones with the kobolds. I'd expect them to know more. But perhaps we go with the Intimidation route rather than the Deception route this time."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Enemy WIS Save: 17
Thia's insult slows the man just enough for Smoke's sword to slip through both his defenses and armor. Staggering backward with his hands over the wound, he manages to parry away Rogram's strike before his pair of swords clatter to the rocks below. Yevele closes the distance, ending the threat with a solid blow to the neck.
The robed man and woman remain asleep 70 feet away, their bodies still splayed out where they fell on the bluff.
The man that Rogram searches is wearing similar clothing to the others beneath his splint armor, a black leather tunic with a flared, black mantle. Rogram does not find anything of value on the body.
