Leovold briefly inspects the area surrounding the altar, but the combined exhaustion from his previous bout as well as his self-inflicted injury do not allow him to investigate thoroughly.
Nimue, seeing that the ritual was ineffective, begins to walk around the room with a keen eye. She starts to run her hand across the limestone altar, lined with decorative carvings. Her hand stops on a particular indention, which seems to match the size of the gemstones found earlier. Putting two and two together, she takes the gemstone from the top of the altar and inserts it into the slot. A slight rumble is felt in the temple, before two door shaped slits appear on the walls behind her. These stone slabs shift out of view to reveal the hidden walkway indicated on the worn map.
Nimue smirks and turns back to the group and says "See, nothing to be afraid of? Now let us see what these hidden passages hold." She taps her foot and looks at the three meat heads and says "Well? Who is going in first?"
Leovold sends an echo down the hall to scout, not finding any immediate threats. Nimue then follows suit in accordance with the map. The skeleton remains of a dwarf priest lay in the left hallway. The right is covered in rubble. The two hallways converge into one, with rooms on multiple sides.
To the south, another skeleton can bee seen wrapped in scraps of red leather armor. It appears to be wearing a necklace still in valuable condition.
To the north lies another chest. Dusty's magic detection shows an aura around the chest like those of the gemstones.
To the east is another hallway, blocked off by rubble. If one peers through the cracks, they can just barely see that there is another room at the end of it. Like the chest and gemstones, an aura of magic emits from the room.
The rubble is movable with bare hands, but it would likely take a week for one person to clear.

Nimue will pick up the amulet off the skeleton and will then go to investigate the treasure chest for traps or anything that seems out of place. If she finds nothing she will open it.
Nimue pulls the necklace off of the dwarven remains, causing an audible crack presumably from the skeleton's neck. Upon closer inspection, dwarven runes are carved upon the necklace.
She then carefully investigates the chest. Finding nothing threatening about it, she opens it to find 15 gemstones inside.
"Well we not a bad find. Do we want to get the dwarves to help us clear this rubble? Or do we want to do it ourselves and not split the loot further? Regardless we should probably head to the front of the ruins and inform them of our current situation." Nimue will stash the amulet and gemstones for now in her pack.

Leovold will collect the armor off of the skeleton with a necklace and investigate the skeleton of the priest as well. " This might prove historically valuable somehow. Who knows?" He says rhetorically.
Investigation 6
He continues down the hall to the pile of rubble and tries to see past it, but realizing he can't, climbs back down to the bottom. "I think this one we may just have to move by brute force. Also I've been thinking, were those two dwarves the only two we came to warn here? Did they just leave, or did they tell their friends?"
Leovold glances at the amulet just before Nimue stashes it in her purse. He is able to read "GREED IS GOOD" in dwarvish.
His eyes meet with Nimue's stern gaze for a moment, before he continues to investigate the surroundings.
The red leather worn by the two priests is ruined and ancient. The design adds up with Dusty's knowledge of religion as well as what the dwarves said earlier. They appear to have been worshipers of Abbathor.
Nimue replies to Leo "Your guess is as good as mine on the dwarves. Judging from the way you are clearing those rocks I guess you don't want to split the loot any further. Well if that is the case we can get moving this debris." Nimue will have Magis keep watch in the hallway invisible about 100 feet away and he will communicate telepathically with her if he sees danger."
The group will move rocks without twerking the dwarves.

The group gets to work performing the manual labor of rock lifting, stashing the rubble in the now unused rooms. It starts to approach dusk as the majority of the rock is cleared.
Numquam starts to caw repeatedly just before the last of the stone crumbles to the floor. It is now evening.

The group lights torches on the sides of the entryway.
On the south side of the room lies more rubble, and a third dwarven skeleton. It is wearing the same necklace that was found earlier and holding a gemstone.
On the north side of the room is a stone statue of an armored dwarf holding onto an axe. This appears to be the source of the magic aura that Dusty could detect through the rubble.
It looks as if it would take significant strength to pull the axe from the statue's hands.
Dusty puts his mace on his side and looks over Leo's wound.
"It might hurt but you'll have to deal with it for now. I can only call on Tempus so much and who knows what other creatures lie in wait to attack us. Just try not to think about the sting.
Dusty walks up and looks over the axe.
"So this is what Dusty was sensing. I won't be able to pull it out with my one arm. Going to need one of you strong folks to do that.
Dusty walks over to the skeleton.
"Lots of jewelry here it seems. The dwarves will be happy."
Dusty will pick up the necklace and gemstone from the skeleton.
The two brutes' combined efforts successfully dislodge the axe from the statue's hands. Krash looks at Leovold with a grin, but a splashing sound causes him to shift his focus to the east side of the room. An oozing black creature has fallen from the ceiling!
Leovold look around for any changes or anything that has gone unnoticed.

" Dammit. " Leovold sighs. " Dusty, can you close this up for me?"
"Thank you for you vigilance Nimue. If only we had found it before I carved a hole in my arm."
Leovold sends another echo down the hall.
