The floating bizarre creature snarls and floats far away from you down the tunnel, the thing shrieks loudly, causing a cacophony in the packed corridors. It is currently about 55 feet away from the front of your party. The eyes on stalks surrounding its head flare up, and two beams shoot out of different stalks, with a pink beam fired at Syl and a white beam streaming toward Dylan.
Syl, you need to make a DC 12 Wisdom check or be charmed and dazed. Dylan, you need to make a DC 12 Dexterity check or take 10 Frost Damage.

Dodging sideways, and just managing to think about not doing a forward roll through the muck, Dylan watches as the frost beam strikes the wall nearby, covering it with a glistening white sheen. Dylan will then rush forward as best he is able through the muck, trying to get up close and personal with the strange aberration.
Move: 30' forward, as far as possible. Action: Dash, moving another 30' forward which should take me adjacent, unless there is any Difficult Terrain in play?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wisdom save: 12
(Forgot Advantage due to Elven traits, but it shouldn’t matter anyways.)
Seeing the beam streak towards him, Sylivar briefly entertains the thought of jumping away, but then remembers where they were, and instead braces himself for the impact. Although his vision blurs for a moment, Syl pulls himself together, runs 35 feet forward, and launches a Shuriken at the strange creature!
Move - 35 feet towards the creature. Action - Shuriken: To hit - 25 dealing 6 piercing damage. Extra dice from Crit: 2
Already annoyed at having to traverse vile sewer while the horrid scents assault him, Dra'vos channels his growing frustration at the creature now attacking the group. Focusing the power into his hand Dra'vos speaks his words of power and launches a fiery bolt of arcane energy at the creature.
Gil pulls his sling out, which looks suspiciously like something that a groupie would throw onto a stage, and whirls it around his head, flinging a rock at the thing.
"Dude, seriously, what even are you? Do you have to pay extra when you go to the eye doctor?" He follows the arc of the stone with his eyes:
Attack: 24, Damage if hit:5
(and with a Nat 20, damage becomes 8 if I understand correctly, double the die roll but not the bonus?)
Gil blinks as the stone hits the creature right in one of it's eyes, "See! I RISk making yet another CORNEa joke." He then runs down following after his party getting closer to the thing while trying to stay to the side of the sewer avoiding Dra'vos firey doom. Move: 30'
Gaèl will do the same as Dylan, charging right after the Bladebender to close the distance to the eyeball thing and get up in his face. (Dash action to get in range)
(Oof, either I need to start rebalancing some of these encounters or get better at the monsters. Two crits will do it in! Also I audibly groaned at those puns hahah)
The small floating sentry sets its sight on the frightened goblin, easily dodging the poorly aimed shot. It does not see the stone coming until it's too late to dodge it. It reflexively fires two more beams at Eekz and at Dra'vos just before it is struck, purple and white respectively. The blood already dripping from its central eye changes from a fast drip to a stream, and the creature falls into the foul water like a deflated ball.
Eekz and Dra'vos must make a DC12 Dex save or Eekz will get thrown back 30 feet (and take 1 bludgeoning damage) and Dra'vos will take 15 frost damage (I'm assuming halved by your white dragon heritage).
Combat is over, what would you like to do?

By backtracking to where the gazer floated down to you, you are able to see a stone shaft with a poorly concealed ladder. You also see the familiar chalk symbol at about Eekz's eye level. This is the first one that has not been at a fork or intersection in the sewer's path.

Gil plods through the muck up to where Dra'vos is pulling out his rapier and trying to help fish the thing out, "This looks like a job for Mage Hand," Gil shrugs, "I always wanted to learn Mage Hand but alas." he shrugs. Assuming that they're able to pull the thing out, he leaves it for Dra'vos to examine and heads underneath the shaft. He moves his dancing lights further down the sewer looking for additional signs sending them down the full sixty feet before they wink out.
Perception: 19
"Head's up all, I'm going to light up the shaft to see if there's anymore nastiness up there." He pauses looking around for affirmation. Assuming no one protests, he then casts Dancing Lights again and sends an orb up into the shaft readying himself for any hidden creatures while examining the shaft as the lights reveal it.
Dra'vos, the muck is entirely unavoidable. You've been walking in it for 30 minutes at this point, though, so you're used to it... or at least as used to is as you can be. Using your staff (I'm assuming you have one, I can't open your page right now), you're able to fish out the small creature. You see a deflated pinkish creature the size of Eekz's head. Four small eyestalks surround the orb-like creature, each drooping with the weight of gravity. The central eye is maimed, but it was once the size of a large crystal ball. Your staff props the creature up, and you can see sharp teeth that appear to be clinging onto your staff. Honestly, it isn't that intimidating, though it is definitely unsettling.
As the dancing lights creep up the shaft, you see the entire length of the ladder, ending with what appears to be a trap door. You see nothing else in the shaft.

"No time like the present. I assume you're all ready to get out of the filth?"
Dylan will re-sheathe his rapier and begin to climb the ladder, quietly. At the top, he'll stop, press his ear to the trap door as best he can and have a listen.
