Sayre's crossbow bolt sinks deep into the back of the bandit fighters neck. He stands for a moment as blood gushes from his mouth before falling to the ground. Dead.

Dm note: I noticed that! It wouldnt have mattered, He only had 15 hp left. When it comes to Attacks of opportunity. I want it to be fair for Really the only up close and personal Fighter in the group, Devynn. So it only occurs if You leave melee distance with a hostile. So if you move more then 1 square away from them.

DM: Got it, thanks for the clarification! This is my first ever battle grid game. I've always played theater of the mind style but so far I think it's great just slightly confusing, hopefully learning won't slow others down! Also I'm heading to bed guys! Hopefully I won't hold up combat too badly! G'nite!!

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The words drifted to Seriks ears and a smile creased his lips. The Bard's words were true and he felt the undercurrent of his magic strengthening his own. His eyes focused on the two rogues not far off. Besides the leader they were the last threats. He knew Devvyn had his back, and his other campanions we're proving equally capable in a fight.
He held on to the thread of magic the Bard's words had extended to him. Now was not the time to waste them on the rogues, he knew he needed to save this bit of magic for the leader...but the rogues required his attention. He held up his staff and struck the ground with it sending magic coursing out through the air. A tongue of flame shot out up into the air resembling a giant dragon made entirely of flame. The dragon encircled the two rogues and exploded into a huge ring of fire, trapping the the two inside. The heat of the flames licking at the two creatures.
(24 wall of flame fire damage DC 16 Dex save for half. Ring around the two rogues. Opague wall lasts for a minute. Uses 4 charges from his staff. Auto 5d8 fire damage at end of their turn. Serik has 10 minutes to use the 1d10 inspiration roll Victor bestowed upon him)

Dm Note: Excellent point Serik, he should have had disadvantage on his attack. I;ve edited the post to incorporate it. Also, since you didnt roll the damage for the damage at the end of their turn. I simply took it from the 28. They both took 42 points of fire damage that turn.

Sayre pulls out her crossbow moving to Q12 and firing on O10 7 dealing 9 with with an additional 17 of sneak attack damage

Ooc: my guess was reach weapon...but he technically was in the space next to me...unless he has Disengage and a second action
Dm note: Because she moved around serik, she didnt leave melee range with him.

Ooc: now to wait for Victor
DM: Ah ok I just assumed leaving a square is leaving attack space. Oh damn Nat 20 on my first ranged shot and I forgot the crit damage but oh well!

8 Damage for my spell
On his next turn victor is going to target the leader with Vicious mockery since he seems to be the big hitter.
Wisdom save 17 or he takes 3 And disadvantage on his next attack before the end of his next turn. (oh snap, look at that sweet damage)
As a Bonus action i would like to inspire Serik "They are beneath your expertise Serik, hardly worth the effort, best make it fast."

Bandit rogue: Dex Save 21
He pulls back on his shortbow and fires threw the wall of fire at Serik.
8 For 8 Piercing Damage as well as 3 Fire Damage from the arrow catching aflame.
He is trying to swat away the flames but they burn into his flesh, He lets out a scream of agony. He's looking rough.
Bandit Rogue 2: Dex save 9
He cant really do much because he only has a pair of daggers.
He Spends his turn cheering on bandit Leader.
He swats away what flames did stick to his clothing, Seemingly still ok.
Dm Note: bandit rogue had disadvantage. edited to incorporate that.
Ooc: was the rogue arrow at disadvantage? Cuz the wall is opaque so he can't see thru it. And they each get 5d8 at the end of their turn no Dex save

Ooc: ok I wasn't sure how u wanted to do that since it's every round for a minute. So I can roll it at the end of my turn.
OOC: I get confused here.. it is the owls turn now right?
