Kurma holds his symbol, a silver scroll on his amulet, and commune with his deity.

No creature seems to have passed through this labyrinth for a long time. Proceeding carefully, it seems that there are pressure plates at the dead ends of the labyrinth. Avoiding the dead ends leads to the pedestal chamber.
A shaft of natural light spills from a tiny square hole in the ceiling onto a carved stone pedestal. An ornate stone cube rests on its surface.
"Well, the 'path least expected' would be to waltz up there, grab the cube, dance a jig and walk back out of here with no worries of another trap...not that I'm suggesting that...unless someone wants to try it..."
Laughing nervously, Irommek clears his throat, shrugs his shoulders and grabs the cube. Quickly dancing a little dwarven jig with the artifact, he looks around the chamber to see if his least expected path leads to doom...
Gertrude looks back at the temple: "Maybe we should go back inside... only we know the solution to the tiles, and if someone comes it, the small labyrinth only lets one foe through at a time and can be easily defended! We are all exhausted and really need a good nights sleep!"
Still grinning from his performance, Irommek volunteers to take first watch while he contemplates his success at reveling a deity and his emerging pious mindset. He makes a mental note to start asking Kurma questions on walking the path of a part-time cleric.
The ancient building in the northwestern area must have been a majestic villa, one of the biggest in the city, it seems. The walls are ruined and mostly covered by plants and flowers. The main gate is slightly open, enough for a medium-sized person to pass through.
The entrance gives access to a huge hall. The ceiling is a dome with a hole in the centre to allow natural sunlight to come in. Frescos ruined by weather and vegetation cover the walls. On the floor, just beneath the hole in the ceiling, a stone sculpture had, most likely, the function of a water pool, with a female looking statue in the middle.
Plants and flowers of exotic beauty are everywhere.
Kurma follows the trick of Gertrude, hoping from one sign to the other one. "Well done. This was clever..."

Irommek takes the cube and no consequence comes to haunt him.

"I agree with the Gertrude, the pedestal room seems quite defendable." Kurma said.

Resting in the temple for the night, Felix will suggest we move to the next temple. Heading Northwest, Felox will scout ahead and check out the area.

OOC Felix, do you step inside?
Felix will step inside for a look, if he sees anything threatening he will retreat.
