Kurma is now listening carefully to the story, taking note. (Ooc, can I check how truthful she is? Insight? 13)
During the moment of silence, Kurma looks around in this place. Any interesting knowledge? (I remember Oniss destroying some freco/painting)
To Brunella: “well I Know a spell that can remove curse, but this is a powerful one. It might not be enough. We can try, I will need some time to prepare the spell”
The Medusa is speaking with the heart in hand, as they say. Kurma is confident that she is speaking the truth.
The frescos tell of the splendour of the past. Great feasts and celebrations, scenes of dances and war.
OOC Assuming she did not hear your dialogue with Brunella, you could do an Arcana check for the spell, or for how to remove the curse in general.
Kurma keeps silent for a minute and tries to remember if his mentor taught him anything about removing such a curse. Arcane: 14 + 3 (guidance)
Sages debated for a long time about the origin and the possible solution of the Medusa curse. As far as anyone can tell, only a divine intervention could give back the identity and the form of the cursed being.
That said, the ones inflicted by a Medusa's petrification gaze can be cured with a Greater Restoration spell.
"I... I guess... I guess we could untie you. You could stay here. This is where you lived all those years, isn't it? And we'd go looking for... well, for a cure. We'll come back. Either with a cure, or to fulfil your earlier request." Gertrude rubs her eyes, thinking. "Well and then there is of course the issue of finding that black obelisk...." Her voice trails off.
Oniss listens and feels uncomfortable in the whole situation. He can understand the creatures desire to be rid of the curse but struggles with the parties burden of release the creature desires. Ultimately Oniss thinks it is best to assist the creature rather then have her seek it out by further attacks to the party.
"If you truly wish to die then I'll do it, the rest of you should wait outside. Unless you have a means to undo the power of gods this a bitter situation... Tell me the locations, I Felix Windfell will put you out of your misery."
Felix will pull out his Rapier and get ready to give her a merciful strike.

"You lot are strong not everyone has the heart to continue on for centuries... I will be doing a service to this poor woman. No one should have to live with the burden of life if they don't want too. Now leave us be and let me do what must be done." Turning to the medusa he speaks with a gentle voice "You poor woman I will help you..."

Kurma stands up. "My friends, stay clam. I understand the pragmatism of Felix. An he is right, if she wants to die, who are we to refuse it. The only cure would be an divine intervention"
Then turning to the creature. "But killing you like this goes against the principles of most of us. I have a suggestion. What about you lead us to the shrines and to the Tomb, fight with us. I promise that I, nor Inete, will heal you. If you die from your wounds, we will not try to save you. But at least, you will have died in Battle, for something."

Medusa:" No, I won't come with you. I won't leave her". As she says 'her', her gaze turns onto the statue in the middle of the pool."The Tomb is north of here, at the cliff's wall. Now be gone."
"Wait... Who is she? Is she close to you? Is she petrified?" Kurma approaches the statue to look at it closer. "I cannot cure you but I might be able to help her..."
"Is it possible the curse made her evil? That she would not be so without the curse?"
