You notice a beautiful face made of granite, an impossibly detailed item for its size. It is chipped, and looks to have been discarded, sitting in a dusty corner amid other broken bits of stone and dust.
... heading south, you find that after 50ft, the hall comes to a 'T'. Both left and right, the path turns sharply after 5 or 10ft, revealing only the possibility of further exploration without hinting as to what might lie in either direction.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gravity picks up the mug and frowns when she attempts to recall if she's ever heard of a patron called 'Lich'. She assumes that it's a silly spelling mistake, then conjures a marker pen by casting Prestidigitation. The inscription on the mug currently reads: "World's best lich leech."
<I think Gravity is at least passingly familiar with what a lich is. Even the context suggests there are at keast several liches if one can be the best.>
<Acererack and Thesselar are both liches in cannon - in the future.>
You follow the hallway to the left, after a few feet it turns a sharp right. A few feet later. Another T. To your left, a wall stands just ten feet away. Even before you arrive, you smell the fetid stench of the place. Fissures in the natural cave floor seem to be used as a primitive means of bodily waste.
(You may recall that elsewhere in the Temple there is a otyugh powered midden - this is ancillary disposal.)
"Waste disposal unit?"- Gravity blurts out a blatant lie and tosses the half-finished mug with inscription into the fissure of the natural cave. Then she will backtrack and take a right turn.
A lizardfolk guard shouts: "Halt! Thieves!", a cry met by the bustle of 3 more guards grabbing their arms and rushing into the hallway.
<I'll map it, but on the dungeon map, not a battle map. I dont expect these guys to be a combat challenge to you, it's just that now, other things might know you're here. So dont worey too much about exa tly where youre token is, just where on the dungeon map you are. Assume you can all reach each other, its a pretty small hallway.>
Gravity waves her Wand of Web to target a cubicle of 20 ft area that's been occupied by two lizardfolk guards. A group of mechanical spider appears and shoots sticky webbings to fill the selected area, thus barring the guards from rear end to advance.
<did not mention it because we ha e used this map before, maybe different areas, but yiu have seen the whole thing. It is to scale, so the squares are 10ftx10ft. For today, i would like to slightly modify this casting of web, with @Tesseverett's consent, from a 20ft cube e to a 20ft³ rectangular Prism, 20'x10', covering all 4 guards. If the idea is to divide the room, keeping the guards on the far side, as suggested by "in front of..." no saves required, if the intent was direct damage, a line can be drawn to force damage on all the guards. The former really just stops projectiles like arrows, but you can see they aren't holding ranged weapons. (These are actually lizardfolk renders). So. For now I'm not rolling saves, but if you correct me, I will.
(@Wile_E_Coyote, Is the 'Lizardfolk Guard 3' restrained by the webbing since Gravity's spell save DC is 14? Also, what are those tiny tokens in front of the party?)

2 dash, 1 IA restrained, 1 can reach Tetrevess. Attacks with AD if < full hp, (which I think is the case based on the waterfall we jumped past), but char. sheet looks full, so I'm rolling the to hits as 2 dice.

Gravity decides to take a left turn.

Down the hall in the other direction, a gruff, reptilian voice demands "Who goes there?!"
Tetrevess follows along silently, the sphere floating a safe distance but nearby, he has manifested his spell book’s mind near himself.

Meanwhile, Gravity suffers from an elongated incident of severe identity crisis.
(Sure, I like the modified effect better since it's actually pretty interesting!)

Whoops! Corrected above.
