When Krom calls out to the goblins they all stop pushing the sled and turn around. One of them blows a horn and a moment later you see another goblin climb onto the roof of the wagon. The one on the wagon calls out to you "Eh? What you say? Finder's keepers, losers weepers! We found this fair and square, it don't belong to know one but us now!"
3 of the six goblins by the cart have pulled out bows and the other 3 have drawn scimitars but none have made any moves to attack.
Remaining in an aggressive stance, but with a collected voice, Kazri says to the goblins. “We have been taskes with bringing the wagon to its rightful owner in Bryn Shander. We do not wish to fight you. If you hand over the wagon, we can resolve this situation without bloodshed.”

As the goblins pulls out bows and unsheathe scimitars, Krom standing his ground, puts his hand on the war hammer and nodding to Kazri replies "We hear that the goblins of Karkolohk wish to have some kind of treaty with the cities in this Dale, if you hail from Karkolohk, returning the ore to its rightful owner may be in your kind best interest."
"Aww, come on! Yeah we come from Karkolohk. It's our job is to scour the tundra for food and treasure. We gotta survive too! Do you have anything you can give us so we don't go back empty handed?" The goblin leader calls back.
Watching the other goblins you see they are miserable and cold and don't seem to want to out in the cold.
Rekuberk keeps his javelin at the ready but lowers it somewhat as it seems like there is a chance for the situation to be resolved without a fight. He looks to the others as the goblins ask for some of their resources. "I have some rations we could offer but I do not think it will be enough to make them happy."
Chip would look back towards his three snow mounts he had just purchased... "What if I give you one (snow mount donky chocobo i forget the name of). Would that work?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"With enough raw materials and a few minutes I can craft you something to bring home." replies Krom "Weapons and armours excluded." The dwarf starts to look around searching for some rocks to use as raw material for Fabricate. (Perception21 + Guidance2). If he finds some rocks Krom will say "What about a small dragon statue?"
Kazri lowers her stance. She whispers to the party. “Do we have the banner that we ate supposed to bring to their leaders?”

The goblin climbs down from the wagon and approaches. "I am Izobai." she says. You see that she has a hooded hawk perched on one arm. The other goblins have lowered their weapons and gather about 20 feet behind her. They look more eager than anything for the offered rations as the mention of them by Rekuburk garnered much attention.
Krom spies a rock and holds it up making his offer.
"An axe beak, rations and a carving? Could you carve my hawk? I will trade the load for these things." Izobai says

Chip would move around and collect the "spare" axebeak, the one that had not been being ridden by the two dragonborn. He would hold its reigns tightly and would wait to hand over the creature until he was sure the deal was going to go through.
Izobai watches as Krom fashions the image of the hawk onto the stone. The other goblins, less fearful now, also crowd closer and watch with glee as Krom fashions the stone. Izobai gratefully takes the stone hawk from Krom. Chip brings the axe beak up and hands the reins over to one of the other goblins. Rekuburk hands over rations and Izobai quickly explains there are 2 more goblins in the wagon, so 9 rations total would make them very happy. The goblins are so happy to take the rations you would think they were being handed a feast instead of jerky, dried fruit, hardtack, and nuts.
Chip is able to hook his remaining axe beak up to the sled of iron ingots and the creature can easily pull it.
(I used to have 3 axe beaks correct? And now I have two? or did I only have two? I thought I had bought one for me, Rhogar, and one for hauling but I could be wrong.)
(@Wreck: You did here. Though, that might've gotten forgotten or lost in the shuffle.)
Seeing things had largely appeared to settle itself, Rhogar, who had been a good fifteen if not more feet away from the conversation, relaxes in his saddle. If any part of him felt guilty of thinking to blast the goblins after seeing their joy, it never shows on the bronze's draconic mug. He just sat and waited until the others had gathered around again before asking, "Back to town then? I doubt the weather will be getting any better, but the same concerns remain for getting stuck out here I imagine."

Chill continues to watch, hidden in the darkness. It appears things are going well as he sees Chip hitch the sled to his Axe Beak. He won't reveal himself until after the goblins have left and his companions are ready to head back to Bryn Shander.
Kazri will step up and hand some of her rations as well.

Yes, you bought 3. I put 2 on your sheet and 1 on Rhogar's since Chip gave it to him. I took 1 off your sheet since you gave it to the goblins. So you have 1 and Rhogar has 1.
Chip would wave farewell to his axebeak as he finishes hooking up his mount to the sleigh. "I guess I'll walk back in case the load is too much for Big Beak here." The dragonborn say with a pat on the feathered creatures shoulder. "I agree that we should head back.. the sooner the better."
